“Top marks across the board! My family and I have been dining in here for years and have never had anything but good things to say about them. So for our wedding my wife and I had a German themed wedding that could be described as an old world decorated ceremony and dinner with an Oktoberfest reception. Anyways, we needed food to be catered and there being only about two restaurants in the valley that could support this, we were able to come to an agreement with Chef Luis and his staff here at Haus Murphy's. This was a wedding planned for a max of 175 people to attend, there was not that many to attend but we ordered enough food for that amount of people. Our request was for giant pretzels and stuffed mushrooms for the cocktail hour with their mustard and cheese dips. Main course was Eisbein, The BIG Smoked Beefy Bratwurst, Kilometer, spätzle, potato pancakes, German potato salad, and sauerkraut. Chef Luis nailed it!!! The food was definitely one of THE MOST talked about hits at our wedding and I could not agree more! I love this place and it will always be high on my recommendations for friends and family who visit the valley and is a Downtown Glendale treasure.“

“I went in there for the first time today and we got two tacos and they were really crispy and good. I also got a green chili burrito.

“Very pleasant visit good food and service. When it involves the First Amendment speaking your beliefs it’s in the best interests for business’s to stay neutral. You gots to remember the First Amendment is only for the far left/democrats. Stay strong but keep opinions to yourselves, which is sad but true with all the weird stuff happening in our world these days.“

“Holy moses this place was great! Flew in for a wedding and so glad we had time to come here for Saturday brunch. Hands down best brunch I've had since I can remember. Flavors, quality, and service were on point. Definitely makes me want to come back to PHX for another trip. Highly recommend the painted dessert bowl, potatoes and sauce (loved it)!!“

“This is a nice taproom with ample choices of your favorite brew. I tried the hefe moon bay and psuedo ale, if that's not your cup of tea there is 16 on draft and plenty more in cans. There is a nice patio with mist too. Inside is a break from the heat and you can catch your favorite game while enjoying your drink.“

“The only negative was that the food wasn't something out of this world, but it was still very good. I love the vibe here. Classy and Sexy. Everyone was very nice. No rude staff. We celebrated an anniversary and they did make us feel special. I would definitely go back to try other things. The speakeasy (filthy) attached is a great touch.“

“Theadore is my favorite place downtown Phoenix. However I feel like the variety of drinks is limited and basic. I’m gluten free and always come here for a beer. And the amount of gluten free beers and ciders are always inconsistent. One day they will have a gf ipa and the next day nothing remotely gluten free. I have friends who aren’t gluten free and just enjoy a cider. And I came today and there weren’t any. All in all a great place“

“We’ve been coming to this pub for about four years now, and it quickly became one of our favorites. It has a quaint charm with a grown-up yet still playful atmosphere that makes it easy to relax and enjoy yourself.
The variety of local beers really sets it apart and keeps us coming back. I have several go-to favorites—the wings, pretzel with cheese, and flatbread pizzas are always on point. The food consistently comes out hot, which really seals the deal for me.
If you’re in the Phoenix area, I highly recommend checking this spot out—and be sure to say hi to Doug. He’s truly a gem. As a manager, he’s dedicated to making customers happy, and his genuine interaction with guests adds a special touch that sets him apart from others in similar establishments.

“My favorite go-to bar in downtown Phoenix. Every single bartender is top-notch. Daniel is our favorite and he is the bar manager. Miguel and Alex are also amazing. Great place to hang out, cool people and a wonderful outside patio if you want to hang out for a long time. They also have a Mexican food truck which is out of this world. I highly recommend this place for everyone.“

“the new Peoria one is 10 out of a 10. The Chicken Kabobs were the best i ever had with the Balsamic vinegar glaze was the bomb. The Burgers are the bomb. I don't eat pork or breakfast but they serve breakfast all day and my Mom loves that. thank you Haymaker.“

“I love this place so much. My friends and I specifically like going when Xander is working. We are also in the service industry and we love when we actually get good service because it is rare now days. Xander is an excellent server and is very personable, not to mention he doesn’t write a single thing down & gets it all right! Also the food is fire!! the artichoke dip & wings are my favorite!“
