“This is fast becoming our favorite spot for dinner and drinks with the girls on our side of town. Limoncello martinis are a delight! And we’ve enjoyed everything we’ve tried on the menu from the Chicken Med or Picatta to several of the pasta dishes. If you want something lighter but tantalizing, the generously portioned Bruschetta Board is my new favorite. Staff is great, friendly service, reasonable prices. Live music on Saturday night (and one other night but I forgot which one :)

“Top marks across the board! My family and I have been dining in here for years and have never had anything but good things to say about them. So for our wedding my wife and I had a German themed wedding that could be described as an old world decorated ceremony and dinner with an Oktoberfest reception. Anyways, we needed food to be catered and there being only about two restaurants in the valley that could support this, we were able to come to an agreement with Chef Luis and his staff here at Haus Murphy's. This was a wedding planned for a max of 175 people to attend, there was not that many to attend but we ordered enough food for that amount of people. Our request was for giant pretzels and stuffed mushrooms for the cocktail hour with their mustard and cheese dips. Main course was Eisbein, The BIG Smoked Beefy Bratwurst, Kilometer, spätzle, potato pancakes, German potato salad, and sauerkraut. Chef Luis nailed it!!! The food was definitely one of THE MOST talked about hits at our wedding and I could not agree more! I love this place and it will always be high on my recommendations for friends and family who visit the valley and is a Downtown Glendale treasure.“

“Stopped by for their Monday $25 burger + wine pairing and it was so worth it!! I did try their house orange wine which was just okay, but the burger was amazing!

My girlfriend also wanted an espresso martini, but they were 'sold out.' But it was only 5pm on a Monday, I wasn't sure how that was possible.

We were also at a relatively small dining table and there was no where to put our purses down, I really wish small hooks under tables were more standard!

I'd definitely be back for their Monday burger special.“

“Beautiful restaurant with great food and a wonderful atmosphere! Parking was easy with a free lot right next to the restaurant. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and received great service. The food took a little while, but everything was made fresh and was definitely worth the wait. The decor is beautiful, the food was delicious, and I will definitely be going back!
One thing to note: prices are not listed on the menu, but our server was happy to provide the price for each item when asked.“

“Theadore is my favorite place downtown Phoenix. However I feel like the variety of drinks is limited and basic. I’m gluten free and always come here for a beer. And the amount of gluten free beers and ciders are always inconsistent. One day they will have a gf ipa and the next day nothing remotely gluten free. I have friends who aren’t gluten free and just enjoy a cider. And I came today and there weren’t any. All in all a great place“

“As a proud Wine Club member, I recently planned a Ladies Night Out for wine tasting and dinner, and once again, this place exceeded all expectations! The Wine Club perks alone make membership worth every penny.

We started the evening with a wine tasting that featured an excellent selection. Matthew made the experience even better with his outstanding customer service, warm personality, and welcoming smile.

For dinner, we were fortunate to have Jena P. as our server, and she was absolutely phenomenal! She was attentive, friendly, and made us feel like VIPs from beginning to end. Her positive energy and genuine hospitality truly elevated our evening.

Our party of four shared several appetizers, and there was more than enough to go around. The Thai Lettuce Wraps were hands down my favorite—they were fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious!

Before leaving, I picked up my monthly Wine Club bottles and was assisted by Bobby. He was fantastic! He took the time to highlight the incredible benefits of the Wine Club while keeping us laughing the entire time. His enthusiasm and knowledge made an already great evening even more memorable.

“First I found going in though the kitchen was interesting. James from Cape Cod showed us to our table. He was marvelous. The atmosphere was amazing. We felt we were back in the 1950’s. Corey our waiter was very attentive. We first ordered something to drink. He gave us a while to enjoy them and talk. We then ordered our dinners. I had the Prime Rib and my husband ordered Filet Mignon. They both were made with perfection. Various staff members kept filling our water glasses. After dinner Corey came with an incredible Strawberry Shortcake. That was a gift for our first time there. We will definitely come back the next time we visit Phoenix.“

“We found out about this bar sort of by accident after dining at Valentine's. When we went in it was early so we were the only ones in the place, very cool vibe, with Miles Davis playing.
