To begin, I did not want to like this restaurant. I had been a customer for Pedro's for decades, the first Mexican restaurant my family went to when we moved here in the 80s. I'm walking away, very happy and full with what's replaced Pedro's. I'll start with the cons.. no salsa bar, I read several reviews that spoke to it but it was not there today. however they had a good selection of sauces they brought to our table. I stumbled into this place on Saturday night and was really impressed with the food and service. I had the lengua, tripitas and a shrimp molcajete. The lengua and tripitas were great. The tortilla was fresh and treated well. The molcajete was good, but not as good as the lengua and tripitas. The young lady serving us was very attentive without being annoying.
