“Fonzy’s tacos catered our holiday meal for all our employees at the Glendale Walmart. They provided a great experience and fantastic food. Our employees ranted and raved about the tacos. I highly recommend them for a catering event or even stop by for a meal.“
“Stumbled upon this place several years ago in N Scottsdale and glad I did. Mexican food like it ought to be cooked, not TEX MEX,thank goodness, do not lower your standards of quality of ingredients as I've seen this time and time again with some other Mexican " chains". servers are hit and miss, some good, some could be better and improve their skills. I drive out of the way as you don't have a NE Tempe or /NWMesa location yet?“
“The food here is absolutely delicious, with generous portions at affordable prices. While the service may be a bit slow because everything is freshly prepared, it's worth the wait. The restaurant isn't very large, but it's clean and well-maintained. I want to give a special shoutout to our server for her honesty and exceptional service. When my son forgot his Visa card, she went above and beyond to locate us in the parking lot and return it to him. That kind of dedication really made our experience memorable.“
“10/10Fresh, HOT tacos. Quality and fresh ingredients are outstanding. Great spot for lunch or dinner. Very affordable. Plenty of variety. Service is kind and friendly. Food was ready super fast and the food was hot!!Ambiance - upbeat music. I wish I took a photo of my meal, but it was outstanding. This may be my new spot. Ordered the quesabirria tacos, chips and gauc, plus my partner had a burrito. Portions were epic.“
“Great food! Great service! Been going to this restaurant for 35 years. Best Mexican food around!Parking: We always find somewhere to park close to the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: Kids love Mexican food. Our little grandsons love going with us. They love it.“
“Woooooooooo! First time visiting on 11/29/2022, for Taco Tuesday... Have mercy. This place is legit, they give "Street Tacos" a whole new meaning. Everything is made fresh to order, right in front of you! For my first time... 12 Tacos (3 Pastor, 3 Carne Asada, 3 Carnitas, and 3 Shrimp) and Carne Asada Quesadilla. "You read what I said"!!! Needed a wheelchair to get out the door! WORTH IT! Big Sid has a new "Taco Tuesday" Spot... Don't Believe Me? Then come see me... "Until Next Time America"! BIG SID BAY BAY!!!!“
“They got great food. Simple as that. I ordered first on DoorDash food was awesome than was out and about one day and decided to stop in. Great service they were nice employees and had great customer service I didn't have any problems and the food hit once again leading me to write this review. Will definitely be a go to this place beats out taco mich, Filiberto's, Federico's u name it, and it comes very close to beach house tacos on camelback. Worth a try pictures don't do it justice.“
“**Tacolicioso Food Truck: A Feast for the Senses**Tacolicioso stands as a culinary highlight in the city, a place where I find myself drawn to weekly for their standout dishes: carne asada nachos and vampire tacos. The nachos are a symphony of flavors, with tender carne asada and rich, gooey cheese atop crispy chips, creating an unforgettable bite. The vampire tacos, with their crispy cheese shell and succulent filling, are nothing short of a masterpiece, showcasing Tacolicioso's flair for innovative Mexican cuisine. The atmosphere at Tacolicioso matches the excellence of their food - vibrant, friendly, and utterly welcoming. It's not just a meal; it's an experience, enriched by the warmth of the staff who make every visit special. For anyone craving authentic Mexican flavors with a creative twist, Tacolicioso is a must. It’s more than food; it’s a celebration of culinary artistry that keeps you coming back for more.“
“Truly the best if you are looking for a welcoming and down to earth atmosphere with fresh food, amazing craft drinks and relaxing and good time. You will never know until you try it. Urban Agave won't disappoint. Oh and try their Cucumber Jalapeno & Cilantro Margaritas and any appetizer or entree. They all rock!“
“Why is it some of the best food comes out of a tiny gas station kitchen? Delicious cabeza and birria tacos. My husband said best cabeza tacos he's had - especially when dipped in the consomme (I know it's for the birria, but try it).Can I buy the consomme as a side? Will def be back to try more items. Ramen birria? yes please.“
“My buddy brought me here after months of saying how amazing Oscar's Tacos are. He wasn't wrong; Oscar's is amazing! I highly recommend the Fish Tacos.Order more than two because they're small. Great food for a low price ?“
“We got lucky and found the taco truck we had imagined and more! Tacos were phenomenal. The service was outstanding and the young lady who took our order was kind and helpful. The tables were very clean, the limes were fresh and the green and red sauces were amazing! Tripa was on-point.“
“I wish I took a picture before I devoured my food. This place has not disappointed me. I got the Country fried steak and eggs and the helpings are very generous. When I called to ask if I could get a little extra gravy on it they were very nice on the phone and and made sure I had plenty of gravy :) so thank you!“
“Came here for the first time yesterday. Hubby had the lunch special and I had an enchilada plate. Everything was very good. Great prices and we loved that it was an assembly line to order. Ensures your order comes out correct and you get exactly what you want. Great atmosphere, although maybe play some music or something. It was very quiet in there, which is a little weird when there’s a lot of people with good food. I like when restaurants have the soda fill station out so you can refill whenever you want so that was another plus. Definitely worth a visit.“
“This place is delicious!Walking into Lito’s Mexican Restaurant felt like being wrapped in a warm embrace, a promise of good things to come, and oh, did they deliver! We were greeted by the friendliest gentleman who, upon hearing it was our first visit, took his time to walk us through the menu with such enthusiasm, you could tell he loved what he did. This wasn’t just dining; it felt like being welcomed into a family meal. The food was the star of the show. I found myself in a love affair with a red tamale, while the rice, beans, chips, and salsa were like the perfect supporting characters in this culinary drama. Every bite was a testament to the authentic flavors and care put into their food.My husband, meanwhile, tackled the monster chicken burrito and between bites, managed to declare it “amazing”. It’s not every day you see him so impressed. What truly touched us was the server’s apology for what he called a “long” wait – which, honestly, hadn’t felt long at all. It’s the small gestures of care that set Lito’s apart. The food arrived steaming hot, a clear sign of their commitment to serve the best. Our lunch at Lito’s wasn’t just about trying out a new restaurant; it was an experience, a journey to a place where food is made with passion and served with love. The vibrant flavors, the warm welcome, and the cozy atmosphere have left a lasting impression on us.To anyone pondering where to dine next, let me say this: Lito’s is more than a meal; it’s a place where memories are made, and taste buds are forever spoiled. Five stars aren’t enough to capture the magic of Lito’s.“
“I had passed this place a couple of times and have been meaning to stop by. It will be in the rotation from here on out. Had a pastor torta and quesadilla as well as the quesabirria tacos with consume. Also aMango agua fresca. Everything was very good. The portions were generous. Can't wait to try other meats as well. Only negative was the lack of cumbia permeating the air.“
“Nice spot to grab a quick and delicious Mexican dish. Staff is super nice & the owners are AMAZING! Quaint environment that has many traditional dishes but also offers hyped up versions too. To summarize, yummy recipes for super reasonable prices. It is a great place to take friends & family for a good little...or big meal to remind you of family get-togethers. Very nostalgic & leaves you wanting to come back for more. Me & my family love it - hope you ENJOY too!“
“Let's talk about the frybread. It was tasty and delicious. The chile meat was almost as close to my mom's as I've ever had. I enjoyed it. As for the pozole... it was okay. Why just okay? There was too much oregano in mine. I was looking at the other pictures and videos of the menudo and pozole, and the other ones did not have as much oregano as mine had. The meat and hominy were cooked perfectly, but it was the overpowering taste of the oregano that got to me. I can't take away a star for something not meeting my taste buds' requirements. I can only tell you what I think of the restaurant. The staff was prompt and friendly, and it was very clean as well.“
“Visiting here from Louisiana, Love the taste of Popo’s . I had the chile relleno, machaca taco, rice and beans, and flour tortillas. It was deliciosa. I’ll be here for a few weeks and I’m planning on returning for another great deliciosa dinner .“
“It's beautiful. The moment you walk in, the atmosphere is very family friendly and brings in a crowd of locals. It did take about 10 minutes or more to get seated and about a little over half an hour to get served our food as there are large groups. But the food is phenomenal! I ordered chilaquiles red and green and they were spicy and savory, homemade french toast, the softest fried steak and a really delicious bacon and egg biscuit. If you don't mind waiting, this cozy Mexican restaurant (serves some American items) is definitely worth checking out! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“
“¡Amigos! Estilo Azteca is a hidden gem. Fresh and AUTHENTIC Mexican food! Their service is top notch, with Maria providing excellent customer service in the front of the house and Leo serving delicious comida from the kitchen. We ordered the huarache, carne asada burrito, and horchata (with FREE refills) AND free flan for dessert... ÓRALE! Can't wait to come back to try the chilaquiles and other unique plates. It truly was like sitting in your abuela's cocina. Don't hesitate supporting this family-owned restaurant. You will not be disappointed! Northwest corner of 51st Ave & Peoria Ave. Thank you, Maria and Leo! We will be back!“
“Today was the first time that I visited La Cahuamanta and I was guided by the reviews and they really weren't wrong. Super delicious .....!! Just take cash, they don't accept cards!!Kid-friendliness: They have nuggets fries and hamburgersParking: You have a lot to park your car“
“The food is delicious there besides what you have on the menu. Besides the food you have listed below they serve other combinations and varieties of dishes, tacos, burritos and quesadillas, and gorditas, with a variety of meats to choose from as well. They make their own house in house postres or deserts. They have three different salsas to choose from and they were all delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant in downtown Glendale.Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap Accessible“
“my first time here i was very impressed by my service here thy personally came out to tell me thy have guac but said it was stale and ask me if thy could substitute w something else which was ok just goes to show thy only give their customers the best in my opinion the meat very well seasoned and the tortillas r amazingly fresh i would definitely come back“
“Tried this place for the first time. Ordered to go. Green Chili Burrito Enchilada Style , Green Chili Chimi, side of rice and beans. Nailed It on every level. HUGE amount, lots of meat, packed with delicious flavors ! Very clean with plenty of seating. Nice atmosphere and employees were very nice. A bit of a drive for me but we'll worth it. Best food I have had in a long time. Definitely will return and referring everyone I know to try this gem.“
“Great for a sweet tooth! ? service was fast and easy ordering. Prices are a bit high, food was fresh including the fruit! Tacos were good and stuffed with meat. They have cilantro, chili sauce, tomatoes, and more for sides to go on the taco.“
“This was my husband and my second time coming here. We are very fortunate to let the public know that we 100% recommend this establishment to whoever would like to eat with their family. The food was amazing! The customer service was top notch and the vibe was pleasant and chill. We for sure walked out happy and with a happy stomach. Their quesadillas de maíz are forsure to try and very delicious along with a great portion. The enchiladas Rojas are also delicious along with the rice and beans. Can’t miss their agua frescas which are natural and perfect. We want to congratulate the owners for such a successful restaurant. Shout out to their employees for such good hospitality and service! For sure worth leaving a great tip!“
“Nice complex. A few fast food joints, I believe one restaurant? A couple group meeting facilities. Easy to access from all directions (medians are annoying). Whoever is in charge of things should build more stuff here… You have a built-in traffic - take advantage of that.“
“The birria tacos and cheese quesadillas were the best we’ve had! I also had a banana smoothie and it was phenomenal. I really wish we had gotten a picture of our food but we couldn’t wait to eat it! We will be coming here a lot more often in the future.“
“Saw this restaurant on Instagram and wanted to check it out. Very clean, greeted immediately. We ordered the daily special( tostada) it was great, and chili relleno Both were very tasty . Definitely good deal ! It is a great place for lunch or quick bite!“
“Bought a brand new car at Peoria Automation and went to Arriba's Mexican Restaurant. It was fantastic! Everything was fantastic. On a fun note, I was waiting at the front door for my son to arrive and customers were arriving. In order to stay at the door waiting, I held the door open for the incoming patrons. They were thanking me as I was welcoming them to the restaurant. It was so fun pretending to be the host.“
“This is easily one of my favorite restaurants. The service is very friendly and the food reminds me of something my grandmother would make. The prices are very reasonable, especially when you consider the quality of the food. The stewed pork and beef with cactus maybe my favorites.“
“We stopped by simply because we were at a nearby sports tournament. This place did not disappoint. The serving sizes are huge, the prices great, fresh salsa bar and the flavor amazing. The inside and grounds outside were extremely clean. The employees were kind and helpful.“
“One of the best restaurant to eat Authentic food. The enchiladas are so, so delicious. All the food is so yummy. For breakfast chorizo and eggs, my son loves the beans. My Family, Friends all come to eat, at Mother’s Day! Birthdays Day! After Sunday Church! Just because!!! Great job“
“The fry bread was excellent! I chose this place because fry bread was an option. I dined in last week not realizing it was the same restaurant and I am glad for it. My dine in experience was not a good one. Our table was ignored several times by the server. He made a point of looking away every time he walked by. Food was forgotten or wrong and only half of us were able to eat at one time. I will only order delivery in the future because it was a much better experience“
“Food - Good / not a big variety just basics BUT menudo is GREAT & they make white & red Service - is ok / depends on how many people are being served/ some times a little slow Ambiance - it's a house being used as a restaurant so don't expect a lot / staff is very nice / this place has been around for years serving good meals“
“Went at the beginning of lunch time for Easter. Server and the kitchen made a couple of mistakes with our order, however, were gracious and corrected the mistakes quickly. We ordered a cheese crisp and split the 3 item build your own plate. My husband and I choose the folded tacos, shredded beef and chicken. It was good and filling. Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures.“
“My husband Bryan G and I ordered a couple of street carne asada tacos on Sunday, January 14, 2023, and they were good.I heard of this place from my husband Bryan. He was an ASM at Kohls and said this was the restaurant to go to for tacos! The restaurant was not busy at all. Looked pretty spacious. The front could use some cleaning, and the chairs should be stored elsewhere. I would recommend their tacos. We will definitely stop by again and try other dishes.“
“I didn't know what to expect when I ordered my first time but I definitely will be ordering again. It's a small place in the corner. The dough is homemade, the pizza was pleasantly good. I'm from Chicago, and we love good food! I will be a regular. I can't wait to try the hoagie sandwiches next.Vegetarian options: Make your own...enough said.Parking: Over 30 spots...“
“I was looking for mariscos Sinaloa style and been new to Glendale AZ I think I found it, I tried a large botana with everything in it and shared it with my wife. Since I was born in Sinaloa I know Sinaloa style mariscos so we enjoyed to the endMet the owner and enjoyed a good conversation reminiscing about Sinaloa. Thank you (PS) Not an impressive location on front but you need to go inside and enjoy the food.“
“I enjoyed a delicious chicken burrito lunch that comes with refried beans and very fine rice, all nicely presented. The somewhat understaffed service was pleasant, decor - cheerful. Not directly on the main street, I'm glad we sought it out.“
“Yummy food. The new parking experience did not work. You use the app to enter your car information. So when it doest work, you can't park there? My grandmother and mother-in-law didn't have handicap parking and then the app wouldn't accept their information. We would have like to stay longer and not be rushed.Parking: Parking app did not work.If it doesn't work, you can't park?“
“The food was delicious. We had items from the Happy Hour menu and an Arizona burrito. It was nice sitting on the patio, especially since there was a patio heater when it got chilly. It was a little noisy due to cars roaring by on Bell Road.“
“Bonitas is the best birria I've had yet. Portions were perfect, flavor was on point. The tacos were a decent size and still crunchy, which I like. They were not greasy at all! Their rice is flavorful, beans were standard, but good. Bonitas is 100% the new go to spot when I don't want to cook and craving delicious tacos. 5 out of 5 stars.“
“To begin, I did not want to like this restaurant. I had been a customer for Pedro's for decades, the first Mexican restaurant my family went to when we moved here in the 80s. I'm walking away, very happy and full with what's replaced Pedro's. I'll start with the cons.. no salsa bar, I read several reviews that spoke to it but it was not there today. however they had a good selection of sauces they brought to our table. My favorite was the third, slight heat but great flavor profile. We ordered the carne asada fajitas and they were excellent, skip the rice and beans. Staff was very friendly and attentive. I will say there was nobody else in the restaurant, being a Sunday afternoon, I was a bit shocked considering how good the food was. Restaurant itself was bright and clean. Lots of white, so as long as you don't mind that esthetic, it was perfectly nice. Bathroom was clean but small. If I'm in the neighborhood again and I wanted Mexican, this would be at the top of my list.“
“Ordered via yelp, which was the worst part of the process. Took long to get the order to the restaurant. After accepted, everything was great. Food was well portioned, and high quality. Carne asada burrito was flavorful and loaded. A buddy of mine got a cali burrito. We were both very satisfied with the food and will be back. Inside was clean and had nice music playing.“
“This is one of those spots that isn't necessarily bad but also not great. It's somewhere in the middle. What makes it a spot to go is the affordable prices with a "mom & pop shop" feel. The prices are really good but they also reflect the quality. I'm not saying you can't find some gems on the menu, like the fresh cripsy gorditas are 8/10 but other items like the enchiladas are made with powder sauce while others taste like if you just started to learn how to cook Mexican food but in a bare minimum style. It could be just over budget reasons. The menu items I recommend: Gorditas (any meat), Tacos de Cabeza. I come here a lot but everything else I tried (most of the menu) is in the middle, not bad not good.Parking: The parking lot is shared with other businesses but for the most part, you'll always have a spot available. Many.“
“First time visiting due to driving by and seeing the sign. The eating area is all outside and there are roosters, a peacock, and a few other animals around the property. The food was made fresh when ordered and the corn tortillas are made there by hand.“
“The food... the smokey savory favor in the meat, the condiments, and garnish station, all added to an amazing experience at Ta Carbon. The staff were wonderful and helpful in explaining the menu items. The facility is very clean, including the restroom, which is unisex. We sat on the patio. Staff were fast to keep tables clean off in preparation for the next patron. There is plenty of parking. Accessible parking and entrance.“
