“This is the absolute best casual Mexican restaurant in Scottsdale! Every item is delicious, but my favorite is the Tacodillas. Anytime my husband works from home, we love to eat lunch here. If you haven’t tried it, you have to head there for lunch ASAP!“

Their website says it's all family recipes and I believe we tasted it as so.“

“I typically don’t go to Mexican restaurants, as I really don’t like them. My friend drug me there and I went back again the next day. The shrimp tacos are to die for. I could eat them everyday. Even the chips and salsa was the best of any restaurant I’ve been to. I wish they had one here in Illinois! If I go back to Scottsdale, I’m going straight there to eat! “I have passed this particular restaurant so many times on Frank Lloyd Wright Blvd. yet I’ve never gone there until this evening for dinner. I was extremely impressed with my dinner at Some Burros. The young lady behind the counter suggested I get a Carne Asada Burrito and she was not kidding. It was absolutely delicious. I ended up getting it as #13 which came with refried beans and other goodies that you can see on the dinner plate. I also ended up going with the Verde sauce, which had a good seasoning, but not two mild and not too spicy. I will not hesitate going out of my way to come to this establishment again. The food was definitely wonderful and the customer service was
5 Star. The young lady who waited on me and suggested what I should get her name is Payden. I thought that was a very unique name. Never heard of that name before.“

“It was my first time going to this restaurant. The cashier was friendly, the food had great flavor. My coworker and I both purchased tortas. He gor an adobada and I got a carne asada torta. The only complaint was the bread, it was too soggy and made the torta fall apart. The restaurant was nice and clean.“

“After years of good recommendation I finally got to try this well done Cali-Mexa restaurant and just love it 💚 Order at the counter it's a change fot the other restaurants in the area and it gives it a relaxed mood also the open kitchen so you can see what is going on. I wont say it's excellent .. cause .. but is pretty good. I had the Street corn en fuego bowl whit vegan chicken (instead of the turkey)and everything was on point. “The food at Frank and Lupes is far and away the best and most authentic New Mexican food in the Phoenix area. The enchiladas are as good as any that I’ve ever had in NM and the chile rellenos are amazing! The sopapillas were delivered with the meal and were excellent. The ambience at their new location is somewhat different than the former location, but I found it every bit as comfortable and enjoyable. On top of all that, the staff is wonderful - very, very friendly. I would highly recommend Frank and Lupe’s to anyone looking for great New Mexican food!“

“We stopped by for lunch. The carne asada burrito and carne asada bowl were well seasoned and flavorful! The bowl was very filling, however the burrito was just a bit too small for my husband’s bigger appetite. Other than that… all was great!! Do recommend!! :)“

“Checo’s Taco Shop is easily one of my favorite spots in the valley. The Checo’s burrito is hands down the best Cali burrito around, packed with flavor and always made fresh. The fish taco is amazing too, definitely a must try if you haven’t had it yet.

It’s a smaller spot so it never feels packed or rushed, which I actually love. The staff are super friendly and make you feel welcome every time. Highly recommend checking this place out if you’re craving good tacos without the wait.

“This is probably my favorite restaurant in the world. Yes it's a drive-thru taqueria. It helps a lot if you order in Spanish, and they really like it when you pay cash. Yes its indoor dining area is noisy and hot. No I'm not trying to say it's fine dining. But I seriously do consider this to be my favorite restaurant anywhere, and if I left Scottsdale I would miss it a lot, it's the only place I take out-of-town guests, and even though there are probably a lot of superficial things that have people scratching their heads when I do, I enthusiastically give Fiesta five stars.“

“This was our first time at this restaurant and we loved it! All of the food is cooked fresh to order. They even make the guacamole fresh for every order. We had guac, chips, rice, and several different types of the street tacos (which they call mini tacos). We got corn tortillas which they make in house! Loved the fresh lime and salsa bar also. “Normally, we have great service and I love the fajita medium rare. We were there at 4 PM and service just was not like it normally is. We had to ask for chips/salsa not once but twice.  I had a $40 OpenTable credit that I actually printed off of the La Cocina reservation, and they insisted they couldn't use it. So I'm not sure what's going on with that.  Will go back, but may be awhile, as the customer service just wasn't the same.“

“We hadn’t been here for a while, and as with almost all other restaurants, the prices have increased fairly dramatically. They still have one basket of free chips and salsa and both were really good. We especially like the flour chips. We ordered the quesadilla Cobb salad and the nachos.

Both presentations were great and the nachos were huge. Way more than one person could eat. The Cobb salad was good, but maybe 1/4 of the bacon and chicken was chewy to inedible. The nachos had lots of chicken, cheese and refried beans and were very good. Diced tomatoes, diced jalapeños, sour cream, and guacamole were sprinkled on top.

The service was good and we recommend giving it a try.“

“The restaurant offers a wide variety of delicious food. We really enjoyed the burger and fries and the sea bass ceviche, but everything was wonderful…especially for a poolside restaurant (it’s rare to find one that offers good, fresh sushi options!). And the drinks were delicious.

Ricardo delivered our food and he was completely lovely, attentive, and professional (I wish he was our server!).

“My partner and I stayed at the Omni for a little staycation. We love going out to eat and especially love having good service. Shea was our server and she was so amazing! I always ask and go for what the server recommends and she suggested the shrimp tacos. They were delightful! I would come back just to eat those again. She was so personable and on top of our refills. All around, her great service and knowledge makes me want to go back. Anyone can serve good food.
