The Mission Old Town Reviews
The food is fabulous and the tableside-made guacamole is to die for. Great service, ambiance, and location.
Jamar made us feel so welcome and ensured our dining experience was the absolute best.
We enjoyed dinner tremendously! Our waiter, although it was his first night, was pleasant and attentive. The table-siide guacamole had just the right amount of heat, we asked for spicy, and the food was delicious. My husband said the pork was the best he'd ever had.

The Mission Old Town offers a beautiful setting with outstanding service, making it a popular spot in Old Town for those seeking bold flavors and a lively atmosphere. The tableside guacamole remains a favorite, very fresh and delicious, and is a must-try. The food and drinks are full of flavor, with popular options like the pork shoulder tacos and the pork belly appetizer receiving positive remarks. The duck empanadas and skirt steak tacos are also well-liked. The restaurant has a vibrant and inviting vibe, though it can get very noisy, especially on busy nights. The patio seating is quite tight, which can make getting to and from your seat a bit challenging, and sometimes food plates need to be handed over other tables to reach customers. Prices tend to be on the higher side, with some items feeling a bit overpriced, such as the $20 martini. For quieter dining, early week reservations are suggested. Overall, it’s a great place for lunch or a drink, especially with the famous guacamole and a lively ambiance.
