“I've been to all the other Mexican food restaurants in the area. I decided to try this place for the first time because of the great things I've read about Don Jose's. I also hold a warm place in my heart for small family owned business's. As soon as I walked in the place, I felt the most comfortable atmosphere. Decorated beautifully. I was welcomed by the most humble man behind the counter. He was very patient with me taking my order. I didn't know how extensive their menu was, and didn't think to look at beforehand! After giving him my order, he even threw in a desert snack for me! I soon after saw a pin behind the counter that resembled his dedicated time of service to our country. I put two and two together and realized this was America's best-- running this restaurant. The cheese enchiladas were like the ones I remember having in Guadalajara. The cheese is delicious with the perfect spicy/ tangy red sauce. The Chile relleno was out of this world & the batter around the chili was so much more flavorful and better textured than the ones I've been used to. This is absolutely my favorite Mexican restaurant in the valley at this time. Of course it had to be the last place I tried“

“I only got to try the torta and blueberry lemonade but both were amazing. Can’t wait to come back to try each of the tacos. The pineapple salsa was incredible. I recommend this spot to anyone and everyone. Plus the owner Raul was super cool. 10/10 for this place.“
