“Literally obsessed with Mary Mar food truck as soon as we found it. Whether it be after a hike or just craving an amazing breakfast burrito . This is your place. We’ve been a handful of times so far and each visit is awesome. This week we stopped for my birthday to try some tacos. Yet ago awesome. Service is friendly, there are plenty of tables to sit and enjoy or take to go. Both red and green hot sauce is awesome, but the red really has a kick. Prices are fair. No parking lot just dirt lot on the corner of Olive and Sarival in Waddell. Straight shot down from the White Tank Regional Park. You’ll thank me later.“

“There were 18-20 of us who called for seating. Not only were we accommodated, but truly welcomed approximately 1 hour later. “This is a little hidden gem with delicious food. It is small and we noticed a lot of take out. We dined in ordering the macho nachos. The meat (shaved beef) was so tasty and tender. There were several other choices available. The nachos were stacked up high with all the goodies on every layer. So good. Will definetly be back.“

“I'm from Las Vegas and I'm out here on business. I heard about this place from some locals and decided to check it out for lunch today. And let me tell u.... This place did not disappoint!! I got the Chile Rellenos Omelet... and OMG!! It was to die for! From the moment it hit my table, the aroma coming off my plate was amazing! I could not wait to sink my teeth in to that first bite, and when I did... WOW!!! I can't even begin to describe how delicious it was. I also got a Horchata to drink. And up until now, I always thought Horchata was Horchata... Boy was I wrong. I don't know what's so special about their Horchata, but it was the BEST Horchata I've ever had!
I love this place, I highly recommend everyone try this place if ur in the Phoenix/Mesa/Tempe/Chandler area. It's located in Avondale and it is definitely worth the drive!“

Not only did the wonderful server jump in.She also wrangled in her manager, who combined were both more than happy to serve me within my cutoff.Time first coarse my chips and custom salsa, then a huge bowl of albon diga soup, then my first carne asada taco, and to top it all off, my fish taco......AMAZING!!!

“Absolutely fantastic and perfect tacos. Literally as good as it gets. In a neighborhood that I consider the best and fastest growing for a good reason, now tacos at the very peak are available. Tripas, have always been my favorite but rarely done great. These were beyond great. The lengua was so poop perfect and delicious. Amazing salsas and a show de pepino with s final taco de al pastor made it a perfect experience. I have thought about those tacos every day since. 🤣“

“This is the best carnitas place, the staff is great and kind, the food is authentic Michoacán style, the salsas are make for non hot lovers but they test good enough, tortillas are white corn instead yellow again good enough, place is clean and neat, Overall nice place to eat pork tacos, keep on mind not for vegetarians, vegans, complainers etc, and I just hope/wish/pray that in the future complainers or narcissistic people don't make them change their ways.“

“This place is bomb, local Mexican food. The prices are super affordable and the food is delicious. I always get the menudo (served only on the weekend) or the barbacoa tacos. The menudo is really comforting and is made so well. This is not a fancy but the food really hits the spot.“

“This my first time trying this place out! The food is amazing. I ordered an egg, onion, and potato burrito. If you dine in they give you chips and salsa as you’re waiting for your food. “We’ve had a lot of great tacos in AZ, but decided to try someplace new because of the tacos de milanesa. We love them in tortas but never tried it as a taco and it was great. They give you the option of corn or flour tortillas which is cool and it has beans as well. Flour tortilla was perfect for this taco. Also tried the milanesa torta which was probably the best thing we tried. Even better than the taco.

Also tried consomé with carne, and three tacos (chicharrón, asada and tripa). Tacos were just ok. Had great potential but seemed like they sat a while. Asada was a little dry but tasted great. An hour earlier might have changed everything. Chicharrón was a little salty and tripa was just ok. Consommé was also a little salty like it had sat a while. It was kinda of late (8pm), so may have to go back and give them another try earlier in the day. The trompo was already turned off and clean, so which was the first clue and why I didn’t order the Al pastor. Should have figured some of the other food was prepared earlier as well. Anyway, happy to have tried it and our new go to for milanesa and will try some other options again but earlier in the day.“

“I absolutely love this place! From the very first visit, it stood out as one of the best Mexican restaurants around. They use real avocado in their guacamole, which is such a treat! Even though there might be a bit of a wait, it’s totally worth it because the food is always fresh and delicious.
Over time, they’ve gotten faster, but the quality remains top-notch. The customer service is consistently friendly and welcoming. My husband and I usually go through the drive-thru, and while we had one minor mix-up with an order, they handled it quickly and kindly, which we really appreciate.
One of the things I love most is that they let you choose your meat for many dishes. For example, my husband’s favorite is the carne asada fries, which come with delicious guacamole and a variety of meat options. He also loves the three flautas with beef, and those are fantastic too. And sometimes, I’m tempted to try the chicken version of the carne asada fries, which is rare and awesome.
I personally always go for the five rolled chicken tacos, which are loaded with delicious toppings, like guacamole and fresh salsa. You can choose between green or red salsa, and they’re always delicious, though they can be a bit spicy, so definitely test them out first!
I’ve also tried the potato tacos with rice and beans, and they’re beautifully made and incredibly tasty. I always crave those potato tacos!
My husband has also tried the birria, and that’s delicious too. We can’t wait to explore more of their menu.
The only thing I wasn’t as keen on was the chilaquiles, as they didn’t include cheese, and I’m used to having cheese on them. But overall, the experience is fantastic!
All in all, it’s always a pleasure to eat here. We go about once a week, and that speaks volumes about how much we enjoy it. Highly recommend it if you’re in the mood for authentic, delicious Mexican food!“

“I love Taco Tuesday here. Ordered 4 tacos with 3 different beef (asada, ground, and shredded). Amazing for only $2.25 each. All had lots of beef on em and the hard taco was fried there and hot. I really enjoy getting my own carrots and salsa. To top it off, the salsa verde (green) was fabulous and they even gave chips with the taco and the chunky red salsa was great.

“First time here for dinner, and ordered the chimichanga (chicken) with rice and beans. It was quite good, and a huge portion for the price. I liked the beans and rice. The chimichanga was full of tender chicken. They placed a bed of pico de gaio (spelling?) and lettuce with guacamole and sour cream. I couldn’t finish it, and took more than half of it home. To drink I had a fountain Coca Cola that was refreshing. While waiting for my order they had a side station of condiments, and I sampled the pickled carrots that had a spicy 🌶️ kick; and some cucumbers. It reminded me of a traditional restaurant back in Milwaukee by the name of El Cabrito 🐐. I had a relaxing time enjoying my dinner. The dining area is clean and has ample seating inside and outside. Bathrooms are clean, and there’s ample parking. Quite a few came in to grab ‘To Go’ orders. There were a few Uber eats; and the drive thru too. It’s 24/7 here.
