“One of the best new restaurants in central Phoenix...plus it benefits a local animal shelter! Pizza was thin, crispy and full of flavor. We also enjoyed rigatoni with vodka sauce, Italian sandwich on focaccia, and 2 delectable desserts. My wife had the Basque cheesecake and I had the paw-zookie. I really enjoyed the food, ambiance, and service!“

“I came in today because I had never been before. I ordered a specialty slice (pepperoni, bacon and black olives, 1st topping is free and extras are $0.50), fried pickles, a plain quesabirria taco and a vanilla banana cream cake. The food was amazing. the pizza was perfectly cooked with a twisted, garlic and herb brushed crust, it was thin with a well cooked bottom and so big they give you a pizza cutter with your slice. The pickles were perfectly fries pickle chips, light, and crunchy with a good batter. The quesabirria taco looked messy- but dont judge it by its looks. it was perfectly cooked, no part of it was dry, the meat was super juicy and flavorful- but not super spicy so it was easy on my sensitive stomach. I'll be coming back as much as I can.“

“The food here is so good! We usually get pizza which we think is the best in Phoenix, but they have sandwiches and pasta dishes that we would like to try also. On our last visit there was a small ingredient left off of our pizza. When our server brought out our pizza she told us there was an error made and that the correct pizza was already in the oven. It was such a small item that we would have just accepted the pizza she brought out. But the new one was already in the oven and she brought it out for us to take home when we were finished eating. We considered that great service. They didn't ask us what we wanted them to do, they just did what was right. This place easily earns it's 5 stars!“

“Food was delicious!!!! We had the white pizza and the thin crust pepperoni, both were delicious! Wings were super good too. Also love the chopped antipasta salad.
Service was a little slow but only 1 server there. He was very friendly. We weren't in a rush so not complaining.“

Huge!!! like two to three times the size of Papa or Long Wongs, or even most places. Fresh from the oven, sauce was full not just drizzled. The sauce steam was enough to clear up sinuses. Pizza came out hot and fresh as well. Looks good to the eye and tastes even better. Seems like they use a garlic butter with seasoning, loved it. the crust was perfect with a nice bottom crunch. They even had a tv with movies playing. Wanted to know what we wanted to watch.....Great service, great food, and great pricing.“

“Yum yum yum. I wanted a Pizza. Did I ever get it. I am a west coast girl immigrated from Europe long time ago. I have no clue what a NY pizza is or should be. But fresh ingredients I know (and often do not get in USA! I read reviews in the neighborhood and decided I would give OG a try. I. Has no menu, just called and decided I wanted a pizza with multiple stuff on it. The gentleman said that would be the NY pizza. I said great! 30 minutes later (or less) I almost couldn’t make it the couple of miles home. I could tell by the aroma in my car it was a good pizza. I let my dad be the judge. He gave it a smile and a thumbs up. I now have their little to go menu so next time I can be more specific. Actually I think I found the one I like! If you don’t care for garlic, ask for light because it is fresh and oh so good! The gentlemen only take cash and don’t have a tip jar. That doesn’t mean they will refuse a tip. Eat the pizza hot! Support real pizza makers! This pizza was so superior to others I have had before! How did I not know they were right there? Geez I will certainly go back! I love real and fresh made food! WOW“
