I last tried this place 11 years ago and I have to give them props for longevity and consistency and they earn the 4th star. I came here with my cyclist friend who lives in Phoenix but has never been here - so this was a perfect place to re-evaluate and gauge his reaction as well. I wemt on a Saturday after at 2 pm and they had a hour plus wait. It seemed odd that they cannot get their pies out faster. I had read this place is considered the best pizza in Phoenix, it was good I just wish they could speed up their service.

I waited about 45min at 8pm without a reservation.I had the pizza, pasta and dessert. ( rice pudding- ???) Over all a really good experience. Would of been a fun place to go with a friend, alas I was alone.Staff was great and very attentive but not annoying. I will for sure go back. The bar tender is named Anthony so you know if they are hiring Italians… must be good. ?
