“Such a fun experience from the minute you walk in the door. We were seated on time, and we appreciated our "conductor" walking us through the menu. The cocktails were delicious and service was top notch. I also like that it wasn't a huge place so it really did feel like you were on a train. The menu also included some really creative non-alcoholic cocktails - they didn't miss a beat! Great place to go as a local, or to take someone visiting! They don't serve food but did have a snack tray available (olives, popcorn, chips) so it was a great place to go for post dinner drinks!“

“This is an EXCELLENT cocktail bar! The service is wonderful and the drinks are AMAZING! I really enjoyed “The Shapeshifter”, and it even came in an adorable tiger mug.Great atmosphere and all around superior cocktails. The presentation and taste are phenomenal! I will definitely be going back!Parking: Free parking available“
“We visited based on another friend's review and were not let down. Great food, phenomenal cocktails and fantastic service! Everything was excellent from start to finish. I highly recommend this place for an adult's night out! Shout out to Taylor for the amazing and prompt service all night.“
“If you like the kind of bar where expertise is on display and you can have a great conversation with both the owner and fellow patrons, then this is the place for you. My buddy and I are in the Phoenix area from Dallas for Spring Training and were extremely happy that we stopped in late. Captain David is an exceptional host, a fantastic guy, and runs an incredibly awesome bar. My night here was easily top 5 bar experiences ever. Pro tip: order The Last Rites and you will not be disappointed.“
“Okay. Seriously the most pleasant staff I've encountered in a bar setting. This beautiful cocktail lounge is such a hidden gem. Drinks were wonderful and affordable; which is crazy nowadays! From the first time I walked into this place, I felt like I was home. Live music is some guy that won American Idol or something, and holy shit. I sat there and drank for three hours because of him. I will recommend this place to anyone. Also, what a clean bathroom. BRAVO!“
“Walter Studios has hit it out of the park with me! Our school hosted a concert there and the staff was amazing ?They have wonderful food with generous portions and a vibe that just won't stop! Every corner you turn, there is something cool to look at. The staff is talented with lighting and sound with a professional but fun nature!I can't say enough about the Walter Crew and what they do. It's amazing ? ? ❤️Parking: There is some parking but given how many people were at the venue, most had to park away from the venue in the neighborhood.Kid-friendliness: We hosted a kid related music event here, they were so super accommodating to our kids. They had a special menu just for them. The portions were generous for the kids!Wheelchair accessibility: There were several people using wheelchairs at our show and they helped them to the front of the stage!“
“This is EASILY one of the best places in Phoenix. The patio is such a great vibe - especially with the nice weather we have been having. I am a huge fan of the cheddar potatoes. I tried something new today (the matador) and it exceeded my expectations. The service here is also the best I e ever experienced. Nathan always has a huge smile on his face and make me feel like I belong. He’s always joyful and quick with his work. I feel like he can read my mind sometimes ?“
“Had a great time with friends having dinner here tonight. Justin was excellent. Food was great. Weather was perfect for patio dining. Overall great experience.Dietary restrictions: Wife is gluten free. They had lots of options.Kid-friendliness: Had an 8 year old dining with us. She enjoyed it as well. Good kid menu options.“
“I had the Chile Relleno plate with green and red sauce. It was fantastic and a huge portion size. I had the cucumber drink and it was extremely refreshing. Sara was a sweetheart and took great care of me while there. I will definitely be back to try the tacos ?“
“Fantastic venue! It used to be a house, so it's very cozy, with lots of nooks for people to mingle in. It's the right comfortable, relaxed atmosphere to reconnect with old friends and make deep bonds with new ones. The cocktails and mocktails are phenomenal! Everyone's talking about the Queen Bee, but there's a cinnamon berry one with a shockingly complex flavour that I loved. We hosted a private mixer at Garden Bar and Kim & her team were terrific. Great to work with, rock solid, made the event a total delight. My guests kept coming up saying how lovely the place was and how delicious the drinks were. One guest was hesitant to try a different drink because of how enamoured he was with the first.A true hidden gem, and a fantastic host for our event. Highly recommend.“
“I love the decor and atmosphere of this place. love bar staff. drinks yummy. I. am overly embarrassed by aftermath Mac and cheese. it was tasty but not worth the hype nor pricing. I could make better. I recommend the aftermath burger. HH good but could use more variety of other things. The burger nicely prepared. This is my second time. I'm going back one more time. it will be for drinks. . HH Slightly over priced shouldn't cost one person $60.00 for HH. However, I love what they are trying to do.“
“I ordered the Chimichanga dinner. My husband the Yucatan. We were so happy & satisfied w/ our meals. Delicious food! It was the last day of our Spring training vacation. What a shame we have to wait a year to return. We managed to have lots of leftovers. We had the flan for dessert, yum. We wish you were near us. Ty for everything.“
“The food and the service were exceptional!! The poncho gringo was a wonderful cocktail. We started with the caprese and beef carpaccio and both were delicious! I got the shrimp scampi and it was a little spicy but also delicious! My sister who visited Italy recently also noted how very authentic the flavors were. We were pleased from start to finish. We almost wish we had stayed because around 10pm a DJ showed up and was playing the jams.Parking: Valet is complimentary but gratuity is expected“
“There was a wait to be seated so I sat at the bar. The servers quickly took my order and made sure my water glass was full. I had the traditional carnitas tacos on their house made corn shell. It was flavorful and juicy. The chips and salsa were also top notch. Delicious!Dietary restrictions: I am gluten intolerant so I appreciated the option to choose a corn taco shell.“
“We eat pizza all over and this is one of best ever..we had mushroom..it was a bit spiceybut not overly so. Not only wasThe crust was crispy AND tastyAnd it wasn't soft and mushy on middle. Service was prompt, helpful and friendly. Wish I didn't live 1500 miles away.“
“Ironically this was the last of the Century Grand bars that I have visited and I was expecting the experience to be subpar in comparison to Undertow and Platform 18. I'm not sure why I had this bias going in, but I assume it's because the other two were just so amazing that I couldn't imagine this holding a candle to it.Of course, I was completely wrong and not only were the cocktails amazing, the service was superb. The bartender / mixologist who helped us was incredibly knowledgeable about not only the drinks, but also the history and story that this New Orleans themed speak easy was portraying.Every drink was fantastic and the ambiance was to die for. I ended up getting the $60 drink and it was absolutely delectable - I only ordered it after trying Undertow's premier Cocktail and was blown away by the presentation and generous pour.If you are a fan of Whiskeys, they have an incredibly extensive tasting menu at different price points. My one minor complaint was that there was an incredibly loud (perhaps slightly drunk) party waiting to be seated for what felt like ages that was a slight downer on the experience, it would have been nice if the staff had asked them to quiet down a tad.“
“Awesome experience! Starting with our bartender/server Josh… great upstairs bar overlooking an incredible chandelier…quirky mid century vibe… outstanding cuisine, Lovely dining room downstairs….fun energetic young, engaging staff (rare these days) ..sweet spot for first date, blind date, date night…Loved it!!!“
“Farmer’s grilled cheese sandwich is excellent! I got the fire french fries with liquid cheese, fried egg, grilled chicken and sauce/ketchup, which was pretty disappointed with that there was barely any cheese sauce on it yet the fries were mushy. Fries tasted great aside from being mushy.“
“Nick was amazing!!! I’ve been to this bar a few times and have enjoyed it each time. This most recent visit absolutely blew away my expectations. Nick was truly putting on a masterclass in bartending. He took so much pride in his work, and was so personable. He recommended the perfect drinks and made them better than I could have imagined. Go to this bar!! Ask for Nick!!! You will be glad that you did.“
“This place gets our 5-star vote! We are addicted to the Brocolini dish. A definite must. We shared it and regretted that we did. We should have ordered one each!!! We will go back to this restaurant just for this dish. The pork belly was melt in your mouth good!“
“?☀️ Snooze, an A.M. Eatery, Phoenix, AZ ☀️?Rise and shine at Snooze, where breakfast dreams come true! Don't miss their divine blueberry pancakes that are bursting with flavor. The menu offers creative twists on breakfast classics, and the coffee will give you the perfect morning kickstart. The vibrant atmosphere and friendly staff add to the experience. Be prepared for a wait, but trust me, it's worth it. Head to Snooze in Phoenix for a breakfast adventure you won't forget! ??☕️“
“Such a cool place! Drinks are tasty (and strong) and the atmosphere is so fun. Definitely make reservations (although they do charge you $15 a person, which I thought was applied to your bill but that wasn’t the case, still worth it though). Greta place for a celebrationParking: There is a parking lot but both times we’ve been here, it’s been a struggle to find a spot. Ride share might be easier.“
“I've dined in twice for dinner, the food is amazing, the drinks are amazing and the service is awesome! I'm so happy they are in the neighborhood. We also visited the lounge next door Blue Stave. Juan is such a sweetheart and definitely knows his way around a cocktail!! ??“
“OK, this is a great bar/lounge - unmistakenly good! Cuban vibes in décor and atmosphere, check... background, service and great drinks, check... excellent before and after locale for drinks and munchies with the terrific atmosphere only a Cuban ambience can offer, check. Very well put together, comfortable and relaxed with lots of space to spread out in some incredible contemporary and nostalgic booths of the Haban-Heydays. The bar is ample, and it's beautifully laid out with outstanding finishes, art and décor and nostalgic art deco work. Don't expect perfect Cuban, but it comes close and worth the endeavor... flavorful, fun with great service with a relaxing ambience as an eatery.“
“Wow! Just great. One of the best sea basses I've had in I can't remember how long and the couple sauces that came with it and tbe presentation just super. definitely do the miso cod as well. So nice to have great food at by Scottsdale standards is a reasonable price. Not inexpensive, but good value for the money and the Quality was 100% Definitely be on our regular rotation.“
“The food is absolutely amazing! You have to try the Hot AF Burger! We are in the same building and so we are always ordering for our clients. Most of the time they’re trying it for the first time, and they always become instant fans! Great service, great people, and an amazing atmosphere to match. Highly, highly, highly recommend!“
“I love this place so much. The guy who works on Thursdays gives the BEST service. I love the food. I love the environment. The customer service is crazy good. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!Vegetarian options: They have a whole vegan menu!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free friendly and vegan friendly!!!!“
“Best sushi experience I’ve had in Phoenix. The atmosphere is exceptional, and our waiter made me a non-alcoholic cocktail that was stunning. Truly though, the star was the food. You can tell the staff here care immensely about the food and the service. We loved the coffee salmon nigiri, and the lime butter salmon was exceptional too. A perfect date night spot.“
“This was my first experience, and it was so enjoyable. It is equally a great spot for ladies to hang out together, or a date night. The entertainment was a fun and interactive vocalist and pianist. They offered a substantial wine list and my server gave me an excellent wine suggestion. I can’t wait to go back!“
“Phoenix and Scottsdale have been hitting home runs lately with high end restaurants that have amazing ambience, delicious food and unique experiences. On the top of that list for Phoenix is Wren & Wolf. I am blown away by the incorporation of taxidermy into modern decor. The drinks are delicious especially the Shishito one with tequila. Food ranges from super luxe seafood towers, beef wellington, and caviar bumps to steaks and homemade mac and cheese. I’m happy to have this place to come to when I go to concerts and suns games. Highly recommend.“
“Found this "gem" of a bar in Downtown Phoenix. Some of the drinks are named after birthstones. There's a front bar and a second bar called "The Cave." They do take walk-ins, but we made a reservation. By the time we left, the tables in the back bar were full. Staff was very welcoming. Our server was great. We enjoyed a welcome shot and warm towels when we were first seated. Fun atmosphere and drinks were tasty. I'd go back!“
“We stopped by after the women's march right as they opened so we were able to get right in. I had the toy plane which was an excellent drink. it was surprising on the first sip but as you got thru the drink and grew accustomed to the flavors it really stood out. I forget what my wife had but it had a drop of basil oil in it and she still talks about that drink. It is a testimony to the complex flavors when you can remember the flavor of a drink a month later.Parking: it's downtown, it is never easy to find parking. Use the light rail.“
“We are from Cali and stumbled upon brunch snob through a social media post and we were not disappointed! This was by far the best brunch we have had ever ! I have no complaints down to the decor ! Bathroom decor is perfect lol we will definitely be back just to eat here ! Service was also perfect !“
“The small guac appetizer (pictured) was $8 yet was the size of a small salsa dish; the price does not match the serving. The churro sundae had the largest scoop of ice cream and a lot of whipped cream but half of two churros, not two full churros. All 6 of our tacos were different and delicious, as were the chips and salsa and cocktails, and service and the vibe were great.“
“This is one of my go-to spots to work during the week. The coffee is so good and the staff is so friendly, plus great vibes! I don't normally order food or adult beverages, but I've had pastries, smoothies, food food and cocktails from here before and you can't go wrong with anything! My girl Gabby is also the sweetest human alive and I love going in when she's there to catch up! She'll always greet you with a smile and the customer service she provides is top notch so they're very lucky to have her on their team! :)“
“First up, the "Evergreen Martini." Think James Bond, but with a side of olives that made me feel like I should be quoting Shakespeare. Delicious? Absolutely. Did I feel incredibly dramatic holding it? You bet your crumpets I did.The food? Oh man, the food. Tuna tostada was like a flavor explosion at a fiesta. Yucca brûlée? Forget crème brûlée, this was sunshine on a plate with a rush that had me sweating (because it was SO good, not because I went broke). Chicken guisado? Like comfort food on steroids, with a side of "how is this even possible?"Service? Impeccable. Our server glided around like a magician, refilling drinks and whisking away plates faster than you can say "extra guac."“
“I have been coming to samsara since October hands down best hookah in Phoenix the owners here are the best they really know about hookah, server Stephanie recommend the best hookah and food they offer here. Ask for Mikey the bartender he will hook you up. The whole team here is awesome. Come visit you are not going to be disappointed with samsara“
“Went to the location in the Phoenix airport. What a great place! Had the hummus appetizer which was delicious! Had a glass of red wine which was also good. Sarah waited on me and was great. Also the food and wine were reasonable which never happens in an airport!“
“Amazing experience! Check all the boxes! Great atmosphere, good music, friendly wait staff, great service, fabulous food…. Then they have these WARM MINI DONUTS , both soft and crunchy rolled in cinnamon sugar ( like homemade donuts as a child!)….. 5 star in our book!!!!! So happy we enjoyed our experience! Highly recommend. Thank you, Rick and Terri Hamm Academy Mortgage, Grand Junction, CO.“
“These are easily some of the best tacos I’ve had in AZ. Drinks were also very good. We ordered the crispy lamb, pork belly, Korean fried chicken, and the strip steak.. they were all amazing. We also got the taco of the week (lobster) which was great too. The guacamole was also very fresh! Will definitely be recommending to friends in the area.“
“We met another couple at North and didn’t know what to expect. We walked in and the hostesses were very friendly. They accommodated the fact that my husband has hearing aids so they put us at a corner booth. The food was absolutely ridiculous and we just had a great time. I would recommend north to anyone that would want to have a great upscale experience with a down town vibe.“
“The atmosphere is modern Italian kitchen with Italian music all the time. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the bartender is fantastic! Chef Rocco makes the dough fresh for his wood fired pizza, pasta and bread. The food is flavorful and fresh. We enjoy dinner at least once a week if not more!!! I recommend trying something new each time you visit. You will not be disappointed ever.“
“Absolutely amazing. First time to a speakeasy. Bestie and I arrived early enough that we slid in without a reservation. Incredibly cool atmosphere, perfectly curated tunes, and the most knowledgeable and chill mixologist I've ever had the pleasure to experience. My favorite drink but far was the Heir to the Throne. Subtly sweet, complex without being over the top, great aroma and paired so well with the thin mint chocolate served on top of a cloudless ice block. The bao buns I ordered were delicious as well.Pristine bathrooms. Oh, and you must leave out the back (no re-entry kinda thing).Definitely just give it a try.“
“So we had a wonderful experience tonight at Clever Koi The staff was friendly, the wait was short, the ambiance was perfect, the waitress Ash was delightful and great at her job We accidentally ordered a couple items wrong misunderstanding the pricing but they comped it which was not expected but appreciated We absolutely loved the Ramen, the steamed buns & the Vegetarian Chow Mein The Ramen bowls are huge! The mushrooms were my favorite thing We bought two bottles of their house made Sriracha sauce Overall best experience anywhere in a long time! Complete opposite experience than Jobot Coffee & Bar“
“Excellent vegan spot! My brother and I were deciding on an all-vegan place to try (we are visiting from Metro Detroit), and we picked The Coronado. I’m glad we did! Food, drinks, and service were all fantastic. I liked the elevated but not over the top Mexican inspired food, and it was definitely different than other Mexican places. It isn’t just tacos, etc. the drinks were delicious and paired nicely. Highly recommend the flautas and chimichanga, I can’t decide which was better tbh. We also had the peanut butter chocolate cake and wow, it was so good! I don’t even like banana but it’s worth trying. It’s a very cute restaurant and it’s in an unsuspecting part of town. They also have brunch which looks super good. I am definitely coming back here when I have a chance. I would even take non-vegans here, I feel like there is something for everyone.Vegetarian options: The entire menu is vegan and vegetarian.Dietary restrictions: 100% veganParking: Small lot adjacent to building, plus more in the lot across the street.“
“This place does a veryyyyy good espresso martini. they have a rotating cocktail menu but they have a couple core staples, the espresso martini being one! the bar is at the east end of the Churchill and 9/10 times you can always find some seating (try upstairs!!!!) great place to hang with some friends and throw back a drink (or three) the bartenders are always awesome and very knowledgeable - can't wait to come back“
“Came here to meet a friend; left feeling so impressed by the service. I gave minimal guidance on what I enjoy to drink and our server delivered. Would love to come back here; will only do so after acquiring a couple old school ASU cups to give to the bar.“
“Would love to make this my go-to bar, and trust me I've tried. This past Saturday makes 4 times I've tried to go enjoy The Linger Longer Lounge and have been turned away due to a "private party". Disappointing.**Updated to 4 stars. Been back a few times recently and the place seems way better.“
“Valentine has been on my list for a long time so when we finally made it to Melrose for dinner we pulled no punches on our ordering. If we didn't get everything on the menu we were close. The restaurant itself is cute and delightfully photogenic which helps set the tone for a great meal. On the cocktail front, most were good. The only standout to me was the hatch chili margarita served in a glass boot which was as tasty as it was eye catching. Similarly, most of the food was above average with nothing being bad. The Elote pasta is the standout - it was outstanding. Basically this is a carbonara style pasta with Elote flavors instead of the traditional bacon. The execution on this dish is perfect. Prices are quite high for what you get on most dishes and cocktails and if there was more value, I'd likely have a better rating. That said, I'd return and I definitely would like to come back for pastries from the coffee bar if driving by in the AM.“
