Awesome experience! Starting with our bartender/server Josh… great upstairs bar overlooking an incredible chandelier…quirky mid century vibe… outstanding cuisine, Lovely dining room downstairs….fun energetic young, engaging staff (rare these days) ..sweet spot for first date, blind date, date night…Loved it!!!
The stacked enchiladas was one of the most balanced dishes I have had in a long while. The red sauce is brilliant, it is rich and deep in flavor, strong but not over powering level of heat. What I appreciated was the layers on layers of flavor, even with what's not to love red chillies, and the subtle smoked meat, I could still taste the onions. Lovecraft is a hidden gem with a fantastic space, including a rooftop patio and a warm, cozy inside. The food, drinks, and service are always top notch and excellent. The hatch chili sauces add a rich flavor. Highly recommended meals include the meatloaf, enchiladas, burrito, green chili mac and cheese with brisket, and the plant-based menu. The Sunday chicken dinner and prime rib quesadilla with jalapeno poppers are also must-tries. Desserts like the rosemary goat cheesecake and gluten free key lime are wonderful. Cocktails are superb and crafty, with favorites like the lavender gin, spicy ghost pepper margarita, prickly pear Margarita, and Spice Seduction Old Fashioneds. There is a huge craft beer selection with unique finds. Specials include half off wine bottles on Wednesdays. The service is excellent and accommodating, with unreasonable hospitality that makes experiences one of a kind. The rotating menu keeps things fresh. Great vibe for friends, date night, or solo. It never disappoints.
