The stacked enchiladas was one of the most balanced dishes I have had in a long while. The red sauce is brilliant, it is rich and deep in flavor, strong but not over powering level of heat. What I appreciated was the layers on layers of flavor, even with what's not to love red chillies, and the subtle smoked meat, I could still taste the onions. Finally, I visited Lovecraft on Cactus/32nd St. I've really been missing out. Our margaritas were done the right way - without sweet agave syrup. They had a choice of salts for the rim. Who knew green chilis and mushrooms went together so well! Apparently, the chef did. You must order the Maaaaaa The Meatloaf. My dinner partner thoroughly enjoyed his green chili stew with the egg on top. We will definitely visit again. My new neighborhood favorite 😍
