We were out for my cousin's birthday and when we got here Mitch said we needed a reservation but he just so happened to have an Open table whose reservation wasn't for another hour so he sat us down and served us drinks. That reservation showed up early and he politely let them know and then right after that came back to our table and asked us if we needed anything else and didn't even mention that the other party had arrived. Not only that but he personally served us shots complimentary without even knowing that we had been stood up by the tea party bus. He was outstanding all by himself and I highly recommend coming here simply because he works here.“

“The previous 3 days were all a bit much so when I came to Ziggys and ordered a slice thinking by its name it would be ok for my diet and when the slice came it wasn't, I just snuck off to drink a sorrow beer in their bar next door. Security guard sensed something was up, asked me what happened and got me totally taken care of. He took me from a massively disappointed customer to supremely happy. I went from never coming back to definitely back soon with the whole crew. The experience I had at Avanti for my birthday this weekend completely blew away my expectations and involved some of the best food I've had in about 5-6 years. I'm super glad I had the Papardelle - Avanti has had the same pasta chef for over 40 years and it shines through in every bite. The appetizers, bread, salads, all of it was exquisite and stupendous and the environment and decor was soooo retro amazing. Finally the Tiramisu was made by angels.
