“Small intimate place with 2 pool tables and small stage for bands. We saw the Visitors and they rocked the place. The two girls kept the cheap beer and drinks flowing with awesome service. We had a great time. Didn't try any food maybe next time but it looked good with great prices.“

“I had been here 100s of times when it was 16th street sports bar and also when it was first linger . but my neighbor Sami came the other day and loved it and said we should try it again. the three of us came tonight and had the sausage board. the chicken and the pretzel. everything was delicious. we will definitely come back.“

“Ive been here twice and both times, it's great!! The food, and the service are fantastic, and the drinks are all great!! We had the CREAM and the one with the picture on it (I cannot remember what its called!) That were really creamy and nice. We also had the cartographer that was delightfully fruity. The pretzel board was really tasty, sweet and salty dips with fruit and cheeses, and ending off the surprise me shot - the one we had was coconuty and creamy as well!“

“A Wonderful 80th Birthday Celebration!

We recently celebrated my mother-in-law’s 80th birthday at A Different Pointe of View at the Hilton Phoenix Tapatio Cliffs Resort, and we could not have been happier with our experience!

From beginning to end, the banquet team helped make such an important family milestone incredibly special. Austin, our Banquet Captain, was fantastic! He took wonderful care of us throughout the evening, was attentive to every detail, and made sure everything ran smoothly so we could simply relax and enjoy celebrating with our family and friends.

The chef and culinary team were equally impressive. The food was absolutely fantastic! Everything was beautifully prepared and delicious, and we received so many compliments from our guests.

And the setting — absolutely gorgeous! The incredible mountain and city views, especially as the sun was setting, created the perfect backdrop for such a special celebration. The room looked beautiful, and the entire evening felt intimate and memorable.

A huge thank you to Austin, the chef, and the entire team at A Different Pointe of View for helping us create such a wonderful evening for our mother-in-law. Turning 80 is a very special milestone, and you helped make her celebration one our family will remember for years to come.

“My friend was recently (on Dec 2nd) kicked out of this venue for no reason by overzealous security after driving two hours to see a Katatonia concert and then when he protested against them (verbally, not physically) outside of the venue they arrested him. Wtf? Every American has the right to free speech, especially if they've been mistreated by employees of a business. I would advise everyone to avoid this venue and their fascistic security.“

It is a little on the cozy side in terms of size, and you can try and impress a date in several ways with the toys you can win out of the claw machine. I am very likely to return as my go to drinking buddy is a rum man, and this place appeals to my sensibilities at the same time as offering him his go to Tiki rum runs“

“We went there for a little lunch visit and met a very nice bartender. Allie served us some very good ice cold beers and then they brought out the food. The food was delicious we had pretty much all fried food because we were just tasting their appetizer menu. I've got to say the chicken wings are probably some of the best I've had in so many different restaurants that we've been to crispy on the outside and still nice and moist and juicy in the middle so good and the flavorings were really good as well. I'm not trying to oversell it I'm just saying it was a really fun experience and will definitely go back. But I do recommend that anybody that is in the area should try this out.“

You can tell the performers put a lot of work into their shows and the crowd was really into it, like we were all part of a single, big group of friends. “If you are looking for a dining spot downtown, especially prior to Diamondback games, concerts, basketball games etc, Carcara is an excellent spot that's easy to find and very accessible to venues. My friends and I frequent Carcara often and have never had a negative experience. Yesterday, we enjoyed summer salads and the fried chicken. Delicious. Our server was attentive without being overly so. He was a joy to chat with and helped with specializing our orders. Having the opportunity to have our parking validated while we ate was quite helpful as well.“
