“First time consumer here and on Mother’s Day. I ordered the mimosa flight with chips and salsa. The server and the bartender were very kind and courteous. Downfall, it took a significant amount of time just to place an order for the drinks and then to receive the drinks. Received a glass of water but with the heat - the temperature of the water changed quickly. The server was kind enough to brink be a bigger glass with more ice and water. It was at least 100 outside - the misters were not turned on. That coupled with the time it took for me to receive the mimosa flights and the temperature of the mimosas- I will not be a return customer. **Update - when I arrived there were only 4 other patrons. And my food and drink order still took quite a long time. I had to ask for water glass. Then ask for glass with ice water. The bartender must be a novice - he had to keep looking at something while putting together the mimosa flight - the champagne should have been chilled and was not! Soo many issues now that I am thinking more on my encounter.“

Finally got the chance to check the other location for the dagger room and black lagoon pop-up they were doing the space here is a bit bigger than the Arcadia location a longer pathway to get to the main bar and their own bathroom instead of shared ones at Arcadia , the decoration was on spot for the creature of the black Lagoon theme. I absolutely loved it. I think they did a really good job with the drinks they were really good. I tried a bit of one of the drinks from the dagger room’s menu and it was fantastic. Everybody was kind efficient and took care of us really well I will always support this bar“

“This our second take out order. The wife had surgery and isn't yet able to dine in, but both times we really liked the good food, the staff is friendly and accommodating. I can't wait to be able to dine in soon. Thank you“

“Brunch with Mrs. V. @ one of our fave brunch eateries in downtown Gilbert. Frannie ordered the Chili Verde Benedict which she described as absolutely amazingly. I ordered Juan’s Breakfast Tacos (My go to) which had flavor for days. A beautiful Fall day, 85° and sunny, provided perfect weather for outdoor seating. Our server, Camille, was extraordinarily friendly, and engaging. The GM, Mariam visited our table and presented us with a complimentary cinnamon roll pancake (off their “secret” menu) courtesy of Camille, which was incredibly thoughtful and delicious. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend!“

“What more could I possibly offer beyond what has been stated before: MAEVA just does it right and does it well. Their dishes are masterfully crafted as is their decor complemented well by the manners of the staff. A true Oasis in the desert with delicatessens aplenty! I want only to reside closer and to have an appetite twice as large to enjoy their offerings more frequently and completely. Until we meet again!“

“AMAZING to say the least in all aspects. The food is phenomenal and they have great gluten free options. The service is absolutely outstanding. They are very attentive and the margaritas are perfect!! Great selections of wine and they had some on sale!!! I HIGHLY recommend.“

“Super fun speakeasy. Reservations recommended for weekends. The lighting, the decor, the ambiance, everything was on point. Most importantly, the drinks were legit - expensive, but this is what you pay for well-made curated drinks. Can be a little noisy and you should come prepared that reservations are like all speakeasy spots, a couple hours then you need to move on. Advice: read the menu before you go and be prepared, otherwise you might wait longer to get your drink if you take time to study the menu after you show up.“

We had a really nice experience. Everything came out fresh and beautifully presented, and we tried a good variety — sushi, nigiri, edamame, a hand roll, and the soft-shell crab. The soft-shell crab was definitely a standout: crispy, flavorful and paired perfectly with the dipping sauce.

The sushi was fresh, the portions were good, and everything looked just as good as it tasted. I also liked the atmosphere — nice enough to feel like you’re going somewhere, but still relaxed and comfortable.

Overall, a great sushi stop and somewhere I’d definitely visit again. 🍣✨“

“Serena absolutely earns all five stars. She’s nonstop—always moving, checking in, and taking great care of everyone. You won’t wait more than a few minutes for anything.

The food is solid, around a 7/10 for me — great flavors and hits the spot. But if you’re looking for a place to enjoy a good beer, whether you’re stopping in quick or hanging out for a while, I’d definitely recommend coming down to The Perch and asking for Serena. She makes the experience worth it.“
