“I may be biased because this was where I had my first date with my husband, but they've never disappointed me.

We accidentally forgot to ask for a sushi roll without avacado because my husband is mildly allergic to it, and our server immediately replaced his sushi roll despite the fact my husband said it would be ok.

Please be nice to the servers, that really are so nice. And the food is so worth it. I suggest the chicken lover. It has a sweet and savory sauce and comes out hot and crispy! The salmon sashimi came out with a different green paste than I'm used to, but was absolutely Delicious! It paired well with the premium cut of fish. It was buttery and supple without a frozen aftertaste like most cheap sushi places.“

“Not only is this place the absolute best - the food is amazing (get their bento box!), the people are SO friendly, they've literally never messed up a single order (and I go here a TON) AND they sell asian snacks at the front desk which is SUPER cute. Try the strawberry crunch pocky! I love this place. They literally bend over backwards for their customers, and whoever the amazingly sweet front desk girl is - thank you for being so kind and making my doordash/uber orders so special with nice notes. “Our first time we just got food to-go to try it out; I got a roll, my sweetheart got curry. When we went to pick up the food, the place was so quaint, we felt bad just getting to-go. When we got home and had the food (so good!!) we realized we had to dine in next time.

Our second time here, we ate inside with a friend. We definitely could have spent about $20 each, but we enjoyed trying different items and it was closer to $30 each. We each left very full with how much food it was though, and everything was just so delicious! Their own Sushi San roll was my favorite, and I can't wait to go back!

We ordered the tempura combo to share, miso soup, maki combo to share (so big!!). Friend ordered teriyaki chicken dish, and it was served in a little pan still cooking; which was fun! Sweetheart and I both ordered rolls. I forget what his was called, but it was very fun and tasted awesome. Mine, the sushi San roll, was so different and delicious. The fish tasted fresh, the cuts were good, and the rice was proper sushi rice.

The restaurant was clean, the servers and staff were all incredibly polite and patient with us (I was incredibly indecisive, and the waitress didn't rush me once). The decor was just honestly fun to look at, and the seating was cozy.

Absolutely no complaints from me, my sweetheart, or our friend. This place is great!“

“I have mixed feelings on Blue Wasabi. I liked the rolls we ordered, specifically the Chuck Norris and Me Soy Horny..

The issue was the rice. It was more like minute rice than sushi rice, so once you grab a piece with your chopstick, it kinda falls apart.

I ordered tuna and salmon nigiri, and while the fish was fresh, the rice fell apart when I tried eating it.

Service was friendly, BUT it took 45 minutes from the time we ordered to get our food. Obviously, they are short staffed.“

“Just what I was looking for during my birthday week, on a Sunday for lunch. I like Asian Cuisine, especially Sushi. Fast service. I had the CA Roll and Miso soup, both in good portions and at perfect temps. Stayed to eat, atmosphere was casual yet nice, also clean-bathroom too. Proper spacing of areas. Cashier/Waitress was welcoming and friendly. Asian music played in background, interior design up to date. Good lighting, easier to read paper menu. Offered help if I need anything else. All around wonderful experience. Please always tip;) I'd rather eat here than at Sushi Brokers:)

“I am obsessed with this sushi restaurant. The rolls are fresh, the staff are helpful and friendly and their chef at the counter is always awesome. He is attentive to dietary restrictions, makes rolls exactly to your specifications and he will ask questions instead of assuming anything with your order. That's top notch customer service as far as I'm concerned. To make this place even better... They have a GLUTEN FREE MENU. As a Celiac who loves to eat all kinds of food, this has made all the difference in making me feel comfortable enough to eat outside of my kitchen and actually enjoy myself at a meal without the anxiety of eating something that will make me sick.

I have traveled to Japan and eaten every kind of sushi out there but to find a place with authentic flavors and fresh, clean tasting fish out here in Arizona is almost unheard of! You have to try Sushiya if you enjoy Japanese food. Their baked mussels are to die for (ask them for GF options). The lunch specials are super tasty and their specialty rolls are fun and different while still keeping true Japanese flavor/quality. I can't get enough of this place.“

“We came in for the first time to experience the restaurant week menu selection. Party of 3 we had reservations at the bar. The service was quick considering the chefs hand the food directly over. The food was AMAZING, such a great way to be introduced to this establishment, we will definitely be returning!“

“We have tried literally every tempayaki restaurant in a 50 mile radius and Ryu has the best experience we have had! The staff is beyond exceptional and the owner is the sweetest thing! The food is outstanding and although pricey you definitely get what you pay for. We have paid more at some of the bigger more know establishments and no one has been able to best Ryu. This is now the only place we go to. When they say dinner and a show they mean it!
