“Great service! The staff takes care of you here. They have some great deals on sushi roll combos. We liked the Cardinal roll. It's not busy or distracting in here, although they have TVs up on the walls. It's a nice place to take your family or friends, or get drinks after work. Everything tasted fresh.“
“A very chill little sushi spot staking its claim down the road from downtown Gilbert. And succeeding! Great sushi and beer. Lunch specials. Consistently good. Open until 9 (but with a late afternoon intermission where they are sadly closed). Know what to expect and you will have a good time here.“
“I’ve been coming here for a very long time and have never had any issues with food or service. The food is fresh and wonderful every time.Kid-friendliness: This is a good place for eating in but my favorite is take out because of my kids. So my “kid friendly” rating comes from the fact that all my kids love the fried rice. We always order it with pineapple for a little extra. It’s great and we always have leftovers after feeding 3. Easy to throw on the skillet for day 2-3.“
“Everything is cooked to order. Fresh and convenient. It was a pleasant surprise for fast food. Way better than Panda where the food just sits till it’s sold. Will be back!Dietary restrictions: I asked for lower sodium option and they delivered“
“Best place I've found around here to get sushi. The broth for their noodle dishes is also very tasty. Long lines outside the restaurant prove it's a winner. This venue is small so if you want to eat here for dinner it's better to get there earlier than later. I went last week and there were a handful of people in line already waiting for the 5pm opening.“
“Nice spot, but a bit hidden. Definitely worth a visit if you like fresh sushi, miso soup, and a nice selection of sake! Service was great, but the restaurant was a bit slow. With the quality of food not sure why it was slow. Compared to other nearby sushi locations, prices seem comparable or better! Worth a look!“
“Seriously great place to eat. I enjoyed everything about dining here with the exception of one small detail. Reservations are not your typical reservations. You will be seated with strangers even if you are wanting an exclusive dining experience. Luckily our strangers were celebrating the same thing we were and they were very nice too...still was very awkward for both of our parties to be forced to mingle. It's a small detail amidst the abundance of positives this places offers but sadly it slightly ruined the experience for us.“
“We came in for evening happy hour and were extremely impressed. The staff was friendly and helpful. The sushi rolls were very good and you can't beat the price. I'm making plans to return on my next visit. We ate most the food before I remembered to take photos.Vegetarian options: Avocado rolls were awesome and they have several vegetarian options including the spring rolls, salad and many more.“
“Came for the first time with the family on a busy holiday night, great food, portions and service were generous. This is a greatJapanese family style place,. It was busy and clearly is well loved. Happy hour prices and selection are awesome! We will be back!“
“We decided last minute to check out Belly. I was intrigued by the menu and it certainly didn’t disappoint. It was very busy but our hostess was very kind to accommodate us without a reservation. Once inside, I really liked the vibe, friendly staff, stylish eclectic feel. We started with some cocktails and crispy spring rolls. Fantastic! CJ was bartending and certainly had his mixology down. The Burnt Offering was amazing! Spring rolls were fresh, crispy and very authentic. For dinner we had the Shaking Beef and pork Belly and Egg Clay pot. Both were delicious but I was most impressed by the pork belly! Alexandra was very knowledgeable about the restaurant and filled us in on its history and some new concept restaurants that management had coming up in Gilbert and Downtown. Phoenix. Hands down my new fav restaurant. I’m looking forward to coming back and exploring more of the menu as well as the new locations“
“We had a reservation at 5:30. Didn’t end up sitting down till 6:15. They told us that 6 or 7 parties booked for 5:30 as well and it’s first come first serve. Sounds like a free for all. Plus the 4 host at the front didn’t want to be there at all. Highly suggest getting there well before your reservation time to check in! Our server Justin was great! Ted our cook was great as well!Kid-friendliness: Great for Birthdays!“
“3.5-4 starsI would love suggestions on where to get good ramen in the Phoenix valley! This was my first time having ramen, so I'm not really sure how it stacks up. I'm judging solely on my experience.First off, I thought it was kind of expensive for what we got. ~$40 (with tip) for two bowls of ramen and 4 spring rolls. It wasn't bad, but not great. It wouldn't make me feel "oh I want some ramen!" The noodles were the best part, honestly. I had the spicy pork broth with pork meat and fried tofu. The broth was flavorful and hot, which is good because it was so rich that if it was warm, it would have been awful. There were 2 small pieces of pork and 4 pieces of tofu. I've had tofu and it's ok but here I did not like it. I was left wanting more veggies to round out the dish. The egg was nice, but it was cold in the center so I dunked the last bite and let it warm up a little. The people were nice though.“
“Love sushi and this place filled my craving pretty well! Great service! Small and lightly decorated atmosphere. The sushi was a little creative and was good. I am picky and want fresh fish, this was just that. If you like unique sushi that arent all the same, go for the starred specialties. The one with tabasco sauce on top was the best!! My husband got a raman bowl, great broth. We ended with tempura cheesecake....that was suprisingly good!! Pleasantly surprised!!“
