“I absolutely loved our experience at Yasuo Sushi & Tapas. A friend told me about this place and I'm so glad I tried it! We originally came for the sushi, but ended up trying a few starters - squid tempura, shishito peppers, seared samon & miso soup - ALL amazing! Then what we came for...the sushi. It was exceptionally fresh, beautifully prepared, and simply some of the best we've had.
The staff and owners were incredibly friendly and attentive, which gave this restaurant such a warm and personal feel.
Excellent food, atmosphere AND service....We will definately be back!“

“This is one of the best restaurants in the Valley. The location is different, but actually very cool. The service was outstanding and the food was amazing. This place should be fully booked every night, but people do not know what they are missing here. Excellent cocktails and impressive wine list. This is a can't miss restaurant in Phoenix.“

“Fabulous welcome, sushi, sake and service! First visit but we will definitely be back! We had the Gyoza, Salmon Carpaccio, the OMG roll and the Sex and the City Roll. All were delicious. While we were waiting we were treated to a taste of the chefs special. Really good!“

Let’s start off with the appetizers. We got a free thing of veggie eggrolls due to them miss hearing one of our friends and thought we ordered it. It was nothing special though it tasted like the typical frozen mushy type wasn’t very good. Disappointed on the takoyaki I had just one small piece of octopus inside of it and it was just all batter. Probably some of the worst type I’ve had. The fried squid legs. Were good can’t really mess that up unless you mess the batter up pretty badly lol the Gyoza was very fresh tasting and had the perfect amount of crunch for pan fried now the tonkatsu ramen not the best in az but it was good not oily broth more thicker nooodles more on the thinner side and the pork was tender and egg made to the perfect softness for that gooey inside the beef bulgogi plate combo was good you can’t really mess up Bulgogi so it tasted like any other Bulgogi. I had definitely didn’t expect it to be so small though especially with how much you’re paying I pay for less for way more at other places and they give me a good amount of onions on the bottom this place I barely got any onions underneath, and it was just all burnt on the bottom. So half of my onions were just stuck to the bottom and I couldn’t get them off. The side dishes, though these are some of my favorite side dishes I’ve had at a Korean spot in Arizona. Super sucks because I would only wanna come back for the kimchi side dishes, but didn’t really enjoy the food to an extreme amount to justify driving 30 minutes back and price , some items are a bit pricey, but most of the items are priced at the same as other places I’ve been but you get way less I really did like their kimchi, though it really was some of the best but man so far and nothing I’d want from that menu entree wise so I think it’s worth checking out but I can’t justify coming back“

Went on a solo trip to check it out on a Friday.
The server did not seem happy I was taking up her table lol. Really tried to get me out of there fast.
Id rather go to their original location they never act like that there in the years I have been going.“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at AJ's Sushi Bar, a small new business that is truly underrated. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with the warmest of welcomes by the friendly staff. The service was exceptional - I have to say it was the best I've experienced in the entire century!Despite being a small business, the quality of their sushi was outstanding. Every dish was expertly crafted with fresh ingredients and bursting with flavor. I also appreciated the creative combinations of flavors in some of their signature rolls.AJ's is definitely worth a visit. Don't let the size of the restaurant fool you - they truly deliver on quality and service. I can't wait to return and try more of their delicious offerings.“

“My daughter and her husband were in town for a business meeting. She wanted sushi, I thought he might like a steak, and I'm vegetarian. She picked a sushi restaurant close to their hotel but when I checked the menu there wasn't much for a vegetarian. I found Sushi Sen with lots of options for each of us. ❤ Nice restaurant, delicious food for all. The Ginger Tofu was soft and flavorful!! I will definitely be back to try more selections!!“

“We recently moved to this area from Hawaii and I was convinced we would never have good sushi here u til we found Kay Sushi. They have great food that is very fresh and well balanced. I love their tempura, it is very fresh, light and crispy. My favorite dish here is the special with blue fin tuna from Fuji, Seattle salt and pickled wasabi root. They also offer fresh wasabi and pickled wasabi. My family goes here at least once a week.“

“Swan Sushi has a very comfortable dining area with a nice combination of booths and tables. Our Server was friendly and provided just the right amount of attention and service. The food was delicious and all of it would be re-ordered again at a future date. We highly recommend Swan Sushi for anyone looking for delicious food and great service in a comfortable and clean setting- we'll be back again in the future!“

“We had such an amazing experience at Kauboi! The food was incredible, the atmosphere was so fun, and the service truly made the entire night.
Our server, T, was absolutely amazing. He was so friendly, attentive, and personable and made us feel taken care of the entire time. He had great recommendations, checked in on us without ever making us feel rushed, and genuinely made our experience that much better. You can tell he really cares about making sure his guests have a great time.
Everything we ordered was delicious, and between the food, atmosphere, and exceptional service from T, this was easily one of our favorite dining experiences in Scottsdale. We will definitely be back — and we’ll be asking for T again! Highly recommend!“

“Sweetest waitress working Sunday. Bailey was very attentive and welcoming. Let me tell you: been here 5 days now for a tournament and this is the best Happy Hour anywhere. 22oz Japanese beer AND 8oz hot sake for $8!?!?! Food was outstanding. Las Vegas roll delicious. “Amazing, unique, satisfying….. we loved it. The well curated menu made for a great meal to celebrate a milestone. My wife and I celebrated our 22nd Anniversary with Shinji Kurita and his team. It was a dining experience where each dish was served with specific intention and we enjoyed every bite. The presentation and personal touch provided for each course was memorable. We highly recommend it.“
