Both the chef and the waitress were incredibly welcoming and attentive, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We had the tasting menu, and the very first dish immediately opened up the palate, showcasing a wide range of flavors and textures all in a single plate.

The Napan chicken was exceptionally juicy and flavorful, and the final pork rice dish was the perfect climax to the meal, with pickled vegetables balancing everything beautifully.

The cocktails were amazing too — the Anti Espresso was such a fun and unique drink. Overall, what a fun place to explore food and flavors, at a much more reasonable price point compared to NYC.“

“I first heard about Yasuo Sushi as I was a big fan of Sushi Vibe in Uptown Phoenix plaza, which I think is owned by the same people and they advertised Yasuo on the shared menu. Once I moved to Scottsdale, Yasuo was much more convenient.

My family and I love their sushi, beer, rock shrimp, spicy edamame, etc. When my parents visit, they always want to go to this place at least once, if not more.

The beers are large, so good for sharing. The rock shrimp has the perfect amount of sauce and spice drizzled on. And you really cannot beat the lunch deals/prices or the happy hour prices. Service has always been very fast and good. All employees always are hard at work and very pleasant.

You may have to wait for a short time if it is busy, but never for very long. Parking can be challenging at times in the plaza, but eventually you’ll find one, might just have to walk a bit.“

The Miso was amazing, I ordered a second bowl, excellent umami flavor and the mushrooms just took it over the top. The vegetable tempura was so different and wonderful! Shredded Vegetables then tempura fried in the lightest, crispy delight. The salmon nigiri was delicious. I had the hamachi special roll with lovely bursts of flavors and my daughter had the vegi vegi roll which was the most elegant twist on a salad. Tasty and inventive we will definitely be back again!!“

“Located a mile from the Four Seasons Scottsdale, there aren’t a lot of good options around Troon. SWAN delivers excellent and fresh sushi. Owned by a Japanese couple, they maintain excellent standards and prices are more than fair.

“I literally just walked in to grab some food and ended up actually really liking it. The place looks super nice inside and the vibe feels trendy but still chill, not awkward or too fancy.

Got the pork empanada and La Gamba and both were really good ngl. The empanada was crispy and flavorful, and the La Gamba had so much flavor without being too heavy. Everything tasted fresh and didn’t feel rushed or sloppy.
