“I visited this sushi restaurant last weekend and was immediately impressed by the modern design and cleanliness of the space. The warm and welcoming staff guided me through the menu as I ordered several sushi rolls and pieces of sushi. My next impression was the incredible taste of each item. While I’m not a professional food reviewer, I can confidently say that the sushi was incredibly fresh, and the rolls were absolutely fantastic. The servers were friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning in the future!“

“Ok, here goes just another opinion .
First time dining here .At first glance from the outside, it's a little questionable, especially being a restaurant that serves fish. One can never be too careful about quality unless you like the consequences. The interior is very clean , smells good, and is very inviting. The staff and the owner were very welcoming and appreciative . We ordered 3 plates .
1st plate . Chicken teriyaki bowl was hands down the best we have ever had. Perfect amount of teriyaki, the chicken was amazing, and the rice was spot on. 5/5
Plate #2 chicken fried rice . There was a lack of chicken, and the flavor was good but didn't have the wow factor of the teriyaki bowl. 3/5
Plate #3. Sweet and sour chicken was really good, but the chicken did have a bit of fishy flavor to it. 3.5 / 5
California roll was amazing. Straight up legit, Wasabi. 5/5
Coconut shrimp was also amazing and a little different than what I'm used to but very fresh. 4/5
Overall, 4.5 / 5 whe you find a place like this, you have to try it at least once . We will definitely be back for round # 2 .“

“We came here for the first time and we are so glad we did. The food is excellent! We had the yellow tail hamachi, some shrimp tempura and a dynamite and rainbow roll and everything was on point. Full of flavor and just delicious. Our server Chin was amazing, super friendly and he made good recommendations and was just so nice to have great service. We will definitely be back!“

“It was my first time trying this place. I was greeted upon arrival. The workers were quick to take my order and answer my questions due to being a first timer. The food came out quickly and I was thanked for ordering. Overall it was delightful experience.“

Wheelchair accessibility: There are different levels in the seating area but some tables that are accessible without going up the stairs.“

“I went here for the first time with my friends and absolutely loved it. The music was so good, and the decor is so cute. Our waiter Joaquin was so nice and polite- and always refilled whatever we needed. He was very good about recommending specials and happy hour items. The food was so so good and especially for the price. Would come again!“

“I have been eating here off and on for 30 years. The food & customer service is excellent. Sadly, like most restaurants, the portions have shrank tremendously. (which is understandable considering our economy). Sadly I'll no longer eat here because the cost doesn't justify the small portions.“

“Our family loves Xami Sushi. It may not look like much from the outside but the sushi is delicious and the chef was trained by a Japanese sushi chef. We are so happy that this little spot opened up right in our neighborhood because our family loves to eat sushi multiple times a month but we always had to drive so far for it. There are lots of rolls, nigiri, and sashimi to choose from. We have come back again and again. It's nice sitting up at the bar and chatting with the chef. The decor is nice and my daughter loved the little dinosaur chopstick holders. Love that they also have fresh wasabi by request. We'll be regulars for sure.

Parking: It's a small location but plenty of parking for the size of the place.

Kid-friendliness: If your kids don't like sushi they have a burger to order.“

“We were looking for sushi close to GCU and we found this cozy little place. We have never heard of Mexican sushi have it a try and we’re in love. If you love Mexican food and sushi....you NEED to try this! The staff was very friendly and made excellent suggestions!“

The food is great, the prices are cheap, and most of all I love that the owners are waiting on you and cooking for you. “I have been coming to samurai Sam's for over 10 years. In my opinion samurai Sam's has one of the best teriyaki sauce in the state of arizona. My recommendation if you go to samurai Sam's is to get the sumo bowl with chicken and steak, brown rice, double the vegetables and make it spicy. It's so much food you can eat it for two meals.????? I also like the egg rolls. They make a vegetarian egg roll that is very good with the hot mustard. I miss seeing samurai Sam's as a few location s have closed down over the years, keep them going, and wish I could go there more often as the Phoenix location is far but worth the drice. “I stopped in for a "buffet to-go." I was pleased in the establishment and the selections. There were not many people at the stations. The food was streaming hot and plenty for 6p. They have your typical Chinese dishes, susji rolls, salads, soups, and desserts. For dinner to-go, they charge by the pound... A decent price.

There is a huge parking lot, as the restaurant is located within a shopping center. Accessible parking and entrance.“
