I consider myself to be a sushi snob.. I know what I like and almost no one comes close to the place in Scottsdale that I frequent (won’t mention the name) BUT I went to Hana sushi last night and OMG.. for real OMG.. it was prob the most delicious sushi I’ve ever put in my mouth. Hana has always been an outstanding sushi & sashimi place in Phoenix. We’ve been going for, well pretty much as long as it’s been around, and it’s always managed to maintain top flight quality. The service has always been consistently excellent. The atmosphere is classic ‘busy local eatery’ catering to food & service and not to atmospherics and frippery. Highly recommended.

My wife and I had the most incredible experience here tonight! We travel a lot, and have dined in countless sushi restaurants, but the time we had here was unparalleled. We sat at the bar and chatted with the chef during our meal, which too be honest, was the best part of our meal. We shared life experiences from our cultures and he treated us to a couple incredible off menu “Chef’s creations.” The next time we’re back in Phoenix, we will most certainly be returning.
