This is the best sushi I have ever had in the state of Arizona. The owner and his wife are beyond hospitable and make the best sashimi and rolls. And the prices are unbeatable. My wife and I are moving soon and the hardest part is knowing that we aren't going to be close to a place that serves sushi as amazing as this. 5 out of 5 highly recommend.

I consider myself to be a sushi snob.. I know what I like and almost no one comes close to the place in Scottsdale that I frequent (won’t mention the name) BUT I went to Hana sushi last night and OMG.. for real OMG.. it was prob the most delicious sushi I’ve ever put in my mouth. So glad we tried it. I want to eat there again tonight it was that good. Small place. 2 people working - the waitress/cashier & the guy making sushi. Nice music, clean and did I say the sushi was so tasty and fresh?! If you like or love sushi - you got to try this place. Had the tiger roll and catapiller (Spell check not working!) roll. Saki Bombers - with the large hot saki. Yes please.

Placed a pick up order and when I arrived to get it was told they didn't have it and they did nothing to help me get my money refunded or to make the food to complete the order. Extremely rude and unhelpful staff looked at me like I was crazy when showing them the full order and confirmation along with the receipt. Ended my night hungry and disappointed. Hana has always been an outstanding sushi & sashimi place in Phoenix. We’ve been going for, well pretty much as long as it’s been around, and it’s always managed to maintain top flight quality. The service has always been consistently excellent. The atmosphere is classic ‘busy local eatery’ catering to food & service and not to atmospherics and frippery. Highly recommended.

My wife and I had the most incredible experience here tonight! We travel a lot, and have dined in countless sushi restaurants, but the time we had here was unparalleled. We sat at the bar and chatted with the chef during our meal, which too be honest, was the best part of our meal. We shared life experiences from our cultures and he treated us to a couple incredible off menu “Chef’s creations.” The next time we’re back in Phoenix, we will most certainly be returning.

Listen, this place is as "Ma and Pa" as it comes. It's a little hole in the wall but everyone knows that sometimes those are the best. This is one of those times. It's not just about the portions (which are above average) or the quality of the food (which is excellent) but it's about the new owners. Ever since they took over, the chef has revamped the menu and is passionate about making good sushi. Trust me, you can't go wrong here.

Hana Sushi is amazing. Honestly some of the best such I we have had in the valley since moving here 6 years ago. They are an owner operated business and they care so much about their customers. They deserve all the support. I think my wife and I have eaten here at least 5-6 times in the last 2-3 weeks.We can’t get enough.This will definitely be our go to sushi spot and we’re so thankful to have found it.Please go! You will not regret it.
