“We came in for drinks and I had the Lobster Bisque, my friend ordered the Mac and cheese to go (creamy and delicious even heated up later that evening). The Bisque is smooth and delicious. Light and not overly filling. The ambiance is romantic. Also perfect for after work cocktails. Our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable.“
“We dined here for a special occasion and had a wonderful time. Jade was an amazing waitress and remember us from a previous visit. She made us feel very welcome and made our evening special. We were sat in their wine room which was absolutely perfect for our evening. The food was delicious and the wine offerings had bottles from our favorite wineries.“
“I am critical of restaurants and this one was near perfect. From valet to host and all other aspects through out the night made for a perfect evening. The gold standard wagyu was cooked to perfection, the staff was remarkably well trained. I would truly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for an experience of dinning pleasure“
“Was looking for seafood and am so glad I found this place! A family owned hole in the wall kind of place, but with great prices and awesome portions! The seafood quality is amazing and the flavor I can't get enough of! We got the Combo B and it's definitely enough for two people. The service is attentive and the atmosphere is spacious with TVs and music. This place is better than Angry Crab in my opinion, I will be back.“
“Old school joint for sure with solid menu choices in pasta, veal, chicken, seafood. Overall the food was really good but didn't knock my socks off. Their linguini and clams came with the clams unshelled which I'm never a fan. The white sauce lacked character. The shrimp scampi my wife told me was great. The bread is simple but excellent. The service was attentive and excellent. The wine pours are chincy for a $15 glass of Chianti. I'd expect at least 9oz for Chianti, but be happy with 7oz. Overall very good, but there are still other spots in the valley this place doesn't beat.“
“I hesitate to share this cause I hate to see this place getting overcrowded. Everything is pretty much perfect, and I took one star off the food category cause the portions are a bit small, but that's Biden's fault at the end of the day.“
“Food is phenomenal. It is hard to find great seafood in Phoenix. My wife suggested this place, because she knows how much I like Manhattan Style Clam Chowder. I enjoyed their take on it. The tomato base was a little thicker than most of the Service was kind and attentive. A great place for my wife and I to get away for a dinner date. They sat us away from the bar and T.V. area which made it easy to talk and enjoy each other's company.“
“WowEverything was perfect. Best italian ive ever had.Pasta was perfectFussolini RossoGnocci BurrataGrilled SalmonThe Gnocci was cooked perfectly. Everything about it was perfectThe Fussolini hits you in the face. Who knew a single noodle in each bite would be the perfect amount of flavorThe grilled salmon was something. The texture profile on the flesh side of the salmon could not have been better. Grill marks but no char. The outside-most part of the flesh side was a bit different texture as the inner flesh. Perfect.Wait staff was really good. I wish I remember our waiter's name. Perfect mix of small talk and service.Manager made an appearance which is always nice just so you know they care and isnt in the back watching tv while his staff is doing the work.Even had a nice convo with the waiter about the salmon and how they prepare it. He was a stand up guy.The only thing that could be complained about (i am not) is the portion sizes are not giant. I feel that the sizes are perfect, however. For reference I am a 170 lb male. I eat between 1500 and 2200 calories a dayIf i was local I would eat here at least twice a month. Wouldnt change anything. Perfect end to my trip.Vegetarian options: Not familiar with this, but I believe they were clearly marked. Certain dishes had a "V" which i believe was red. They were the dishes with no meat. Could be vegan too. Ate the Gnocci which was one of them. Amazing dish. If you are vegetarian/vegan, you arent left behind.I also believe all pasta had a gluten free variant, but i do not remember for certainKid-friendliness: No menu for kids, but waiter gave suggestions for small portion/flavors which kids would enjoy. No problems at all“
“This place is very much your traditional *authentic* "hole in the wall" mexican place. I've been here multiple times and it is always legit; excellent rice and beans. Great chicken and steak. Also they give you a bean dip with the chips which is *chefs kiss*Just keep in mind this place is not fancy, though the staff is very friendly.“
“Excellent customer service, was able to sample anything (scallops were good), food was tasty. If poke is confusing they will help you with recommendations. This is a great poke place and I'm happy it's right across the street from me!“
“We walked up and were seated within minutes, and no reservation was needed. This was extremely nice since we were on vacation and really didn't have any idea of where we wanted to eat or what we wanted to do outside of watching baseball during spring training. The food was amazing, and the environment was fantastic.“
“We just came for the oysters! They are so dang good! The service was phenomenal. We had multiple waiters making sure our water never went low. Lots of special attention. The atmosphere was relaxing and felt at home. One of our waiters recommended the Cauliflower. It was so delicious. You have to try it!“
“I enjoyed my visit to Alexi's. The service was friendly and attentive. The salad was pretty basic but the Cabernet dressing made up for it. I ordered the southwest Marsala, which I want a huge fan of and thought it was average. I think I just got the wrong dish as the presentation and quality seemed top notch. I will be back to try a different dish in the future!“
“Excellent place for seafood in Phoenix. Upscale, casual and hip establishment with a great selection of menu items. We had the chowder and Dungeness crab wedge salad… that salad was amazing… it’s a must! For entrees the diver scallops and seared red snapper, both were superb. The cocktails were also strong and excellent. This place was hopping and filling up, so definitely plan ahead and have a reservation. We love seafood and this is a great place to get your fill.“
“Took my husband for the first time we had a couple of problems that could have made this rating of three I had problems with my drink and then problems with baked potatoes not being ready however when I said something about it which I normally do not do the manager gave me all her attention and fix the situation her doing that really made the experience different. I really appreciated the high level of customer service that was extended to me due to the errors I will definitely be going back for redo.“
“The food is very delicious, I recommend it.1 -The bad thing is that the chairs and tables are very uncomfortable. If the tables were a little higher, it would be better because the chairs are very high and the table is very low. It is very uncomfortable because your back hurts and you have to hunch down or bend down because the chairs are almost at the level of the table2-a lot of noise, loud music, people have to talk loudly3-The place is very small or smallIf you go on weekends you have to call to reserve or be patient and wait more than 25 minutes to get a spot. Be careful, the parking spaces are very few, you have to park behind the laundry or beauty salon. The truth is very uncomfortableAt least I will continue visiting the place but it will be to attract foodI recommend the food“
“This place is a hidden gem! Margarita the server we had was amazing! As soon as my daughter and I came in she had crayons and coloring books ready to go. Water was low, she filled it. Pizza needed boxing, she boxed it. This type of service is not typical for these types of restaurants and she was amazing. Pizza was amazing as well. We will definitely be back!“
“The food looks just like the pictures on the menu and tastes even better! Everyone in my family is picky with something and we found food for everyone, highly recommend taco Tuesday! Everything is fresh and delicious, and the atmosphere is clean. The drinks were a nice unique variety, and the outdoor seating was comfortable and cool. (Oh course it’s April though lol)“
“What a wonderful choice for lunch today with my father. I googled “best authentic Chinese food in downtown Phoenix” and I’m sure glad that they recommended this place. I’ll be coming back. The service was really really great at the top of my list, and the food was prepared very well. It definitely was a Authentic and it arrived to our table in a flash!! I should’ve taken pictures of my dishes, but it smells so good I had to attack it quickly, so no pictures this time next time!! my dad ordered the chicken chop Suey with shrimp and I ordered the orange chicken! My waitress her name is Joy!!“
“As always, great food & service. The service is that of an upscale, fine dining restaurant. I always get the prime rib, which is amazing. I do always taste my husband's entrees, and all have been great. The three pepper mac n' cheese is perfect, not too spicy (really not spicy at all, imo) but flavorful. The vegetable gnocchi as an accompaniment was perfect, the gnocchi was crisp (I'm assuming it was pan fried) and not chewy. My hubby usually gets peppercorn steak or salmon, and both taste great as well. The bread has changed in the 10+ years I've been going, which does kind of suck but not enough to stop me from going!“
“This place is a hidden gem. We drove by it for years, thought it was some little strip club or something. After all, it is next to The Castle. It is a family owned italian food joint, little mom and pop place. The food is great, people are friendly, and the environment is what you would expect from a mom and pop dining area.“
“These are the absolute best shrimp tacos on the planet. You read that right. It’s not hype or fanfare. I am a career foodie and cook. Food trucks are sorely overlooked. Shrimp are fried to utter perfection. Crispy, golden battered heaven on the outside, juicy and succulent on the inside with tangy slaw, crispy cabbage and not one but two choices of chipotle sauce.(mild and spicy) Take it from me and get them with mozzarella cheese. They toast the cheese on the tortilla so that there is a crispy brown coating on top and melted, cheesy nirvana underneath. And for only $4 a taco, the portion are quite ample. Tacos are HUGE and they do not skimp on the shrimp! The owner and his family were sitting near my table and they saw my face when I took the first bite. He told his family, “Now that’s the face you wanna see!”. Places like these remind why I love food so much.“
“Awesome Thai spot right around Thomas and Central. It's not only the best actual Thai food in the area, it's got the best bang for buck.Their lunch specials are $12 and come with one of their soups on a rotating lineup, all of which are good.I work around here and need to frequent it more.“
“Highland Food Hub Overview: The Highland Food Hub offers an ultimate digital-first food court experience with a diverse lineup of 15+ exceptional restaurants, all conveniently located under one virtual roof. Now, let’s dive into the specific dishes I tried:1. Chicken Plate with Veggies from Hawaiian Bros:* I opted for the Huli Huli Chicken (also known as Molokai Chicken) served with rice and macaroni salad. The portions were generous, especially the rice. Not only did they provide a bed of rice under the chicken, but also a huge ball of it. Personally, I found it a tad too much rice, so next time, I’ll substitute it with veggies for a well-balanced meal.*2. Chili Wings from Mohinga Asian Restaurant:* The Lemongrass & Chili Oil Wing Toss caught my attention. These wings were coated in a zesty lemongrass and chili oil sauce. At $10.50, they were a tasty treat. The balance of flavors was spot-on, and the wings had a satisfying crunch.Overall Impression:* The Highland Food Hub offers a convenient way to explore a variety of cuisines without leaving your home. It’s a great option for busy days when you want to enjoy diverse flavors from different restaurants. The online ordering process is straightforward, and the pickup experience is efficient. I appreciate the concept of paying once for multiple orders and the flexibility to customize my meals.“
“No exaggeration, this is the best meal we have had in Phoenix and we are locals who eat out a lot. The whole grilled fish is one of the best entrees we have ever had. Staff is so friendly. We brought our baby and everyone was so accomodating and sweet. We will definitely be returning soon!!Dietary restrictions: So accommodating to gluten preferences“
“I haven’t been so excited about a place in a while. The cucumber salsa they serve with your chips was an explosion of flavor, I’ll go back just for that. Loved my Marlin taco. This might have been the best mango margarita I’ve ever had. It wasn’t too sweet, tasted fresh and had an excellent chamoy rim.“
“I would have given five stars for everything except the service was paced WAY too fast. We had just put our forks down from the salad & our soups arrived. I hadn’t even finished my soup & our main courses arrived. We felt completely rushed through our entire dinner. A restaurant of that caliber should know better!!! We will probably go to other restaurants that we frequent & are very similar but they do everything correctly. It kind of took the air out of our wedding anniversary somewhat.“
“I love spicy food. Usually, when I order something spicy, I get a warning that it might be too spicy, and usually, the spice is oversold. When I ordered the extra spicy Korean fried chicken, I received the usual warning, which I now dismiss. But when I took that first bite, I realized that for the first time, the warning was warrented. My face was boiling from how spicy it was, but I couldn't stop eating because it was so delicious. I will definitely be back to order it again now that I know what to expect.“
“The atmosphere is eh, but I’m not going to dog down a review rating because of that. In all honesty the food was superb, fast, and delicious. Unique items was added to my quesadilla.. never had it served with red onions inside, and with fried onions on the side. But that didn’t change that quality of the food. It was still great!“
“Have enjoyed this restaurant for MANY years. ALWAYS consistent and creative. Food always comes out hot; good service, generous pours, GREAT value!Vegetarian options: There ARE options.Parking: Sadly, the strip mall is almost vacant, so parking is not an issue.“
“We were amazed by all the food and drinks All the dishes are amazing, flavorful , taste very authentic , Peruvian food is one of the best cuisines in the world .... The service is very attentive and all the refills and food were very quick This new place is so cool has plenty of parking space and it looks very clean and with all the Inca decor perfection“
“I got the raw shrimp ceviche plate to go. I really enjoyed it. You can make 3 very well served tostadas. The shrimp was fresh and the seasoning very delicious. I will come back. It comes with slices of avocado, lime, mayo, hot sauce and this seafood dark sauce. And they give you tostadas or saltines.“
“I like everything about this place. I've been to many Asian buffets and this is my favorite by far. They offer a huge variety and the tables and floors are clean. I will be a regular at this place.Parking: Unlimited places to parkKid-friendliness: Pizza and French fries us a lot of treats for dessert.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“AWESOME GATOR !!!! My husband had the shrimp and the catfish. He really liked the shrimp but didn't care for the catfish. He also said the jumalya and the cabbage w/bacon and sausage were really goodParking: You can pull right up to their locationWheelchair accessibility: Tons of wheelchair accessible parking“
“We had a nice dinner for four on a Friday evening. The patio is a nice size so it accommodates a lot of people. We ordered the calamari, fish and a and a poke bowl salad. The calamari are heavily breaded and while crunchy the strips of calamari steak were still tender. The fish and chips are some of the best we've had, moist fish, flavorful batter and well cooked thin French fries. The poke bowl was the bomb however. Very fresh tuna with a nice kick of spice in my spicy version, plenty of pickled ginger, edamame, red onions, A few slices of avocado, fresh cucumbers, radishes, and chunks of mango. It was very flavorful and quite a large portion. Our friends ordered the fish plates and one suggestion would that be they get slightly larger plates as their food was falling off of them and hard to manage!“
“Excellent food! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is the excessive length of time it takes to get drinks. Every single time we visit this restaurant and order drinks it takes at least 15+ minutes to get our drinks. Often we get our appetizer before drinks.“
“Have to drive from Tempe to this place. There isn’t any good places in Phx. They are all over sauced or too loud with banda. Everything is good but i like the botana seca and 2 tacos gobernadores. Order in advance if you know you’re not patient. Mariscos not fast food.“
“Hands down you can’t get anymore authentic then this place.Ive been coming here for about 3 years now.My favorite is the caldo de res,Feels like my Mexican grandmother is in the kitchen fixing up all my favorite Mexican dishes .i highly recommend Berthas ????“
“Smoked Mexican food. It's what comes to mind when attempting to describe the flavor and aroma of the authentic, fresh experience of this restaurant. I had three tacos, street style, one camarone, one carne asada, and one pollo. All three were distinctly different and thoughtfully flavorful. The server was kind and enthusiastic. The atmosphere was inviting with excellent music. Don't expect traditional salsa with your chips but be open to the experience. xoxo“
“When you walk in for dinner the lighting gives a warm atmosphere. Very clean non-cluttered feel to the place. We had hot sake, egg rolls, and edamame during happy hour. Following a few rolls which were all delicious and of course some fresh sashimi. A definite place to stop by, vibe and happy hour with loved ones or “
“I found the place so close to the convention center and virtually empty over lunch. The eggplant entrée was THE BEST I've ever had. The staff were very attentive, and my glass of water was topped off often. Improvement would not be possible!“
“A beautiful little pho shop tucked away by the rubios when this place should be the star of this corner of the complex. Walking in you see an intricate mural followed by incredibly kind staff. I had the combination pho and it's obvious there was a lot of time and love put into the food they make. Might be my go-to pho spot from now on. I emplore you to try it :)“

“It’s a food truck but the food will not disappoint. Their surf and turf tacos are by far the best ? The tortillas are just crispy perfect. They are stuff just perfectly with shrimp, carne asada, cheese and salsa. I wish they would stay open until 11pm.“
“Have to throw a huge shout out to the waitress, Teri. She is amazing and deserves nothing but good things. Please, if you can, request her. She was knowledgeable, and helped our party of 10 with kids, with no help and she killed it!The great food was an added benefit, and was terrific! They stand by their word of, "no heat lamps".They even went so far as to take a lobster out and show all the kids, and educate them on the life cycle of lobsters. It was a wonderful experience, and I absolutely will make it back there. I highly recommend to anyone with kiddos.Kid-friendliness: Laid back environment, where getting dirty is okay. You can relax here as a parent and not have to worry. The kids are preoccupied drawing on the paper table cloths. Loved it!“
“Best mariscos I've had in Phoenix! The portions are huge so either share or prepare to have leftovers. Tried a campechana especial and botana-the coctél was pleasantly acidic, each seafood tasted unique. Everything was super fresh. Try it!“
“Great Chinese food, done very well. Fantastic choices, great seafood, beef, chicken and pork. We ordered vegetarian, too. Main disappointment was being given a happy hour menu upon arrival only to be told it did not apply to weekends. Had to ask for the nominal discount for two rather expensive appetizers, which we felt should have been extended without any hassle — if anyone's fault it was management for lack of training. The hostess didn't know because she was new. Again, management could have done better, especially to simply make good on the honest error. All in all, very nice atmosphere and menu. We'll return.“
“Now that I have been here 5 times I think I can confidently make a full review. Check for the specials for each season for Mr. fish changes regularly and is often the go to choice for regulars. There are plenty of other options on the menu that are on point. I can’t really recommend anything specifically but the appetizers are all very good just look and select what suits you. You can often see Mark Tarbell at the restaurant, and he is an awarded chef who has won Iron Chef when that actually meant somethingParking: Well it’s sucks. Valet that doesn’t know how to drive a stick shift. Then wanted a tip“
“Ordered Menudo and a quesabirria taco… and both were delicious! It’s hard for me to find menudo I like if I don’t make it and let me tell you, this was on point. I’ll need to come in person and eat one day. Eat here, you won’t regret it, definitely taste the love in this cooking ?? Well done everybody“
“This place is incredible, the location, atmosphere, the food is a 10/10 . Staff is pretty good looking but they didn’t check on me . Just like maybe once and I was there for like an hour and a half. Tip is earned not just given just saying.“
