“I've been eating Pete's for well over 20 years. I no longer live in Arizona but this is always my first stop and my last before leaving. It's not often you find a place where the flavor doesn't change. Thier Pete's sauce goes great with everything. This should be a stop if you are ever visiting the area. If you like fish and chips this is the spot.“
“I have only been there a couple of times, and I did like it, they serve you a delicious spicy consomme with your chips and sauces while you wait for your food, my children don't eat seafood so they ordered some meat burritos roasted totally recommended, the meat has a very rich flavor. “Pokbelly was great, salad was okay, and Fillet Minion was cooked perfectly but needed a little more flavor. Fleming potato were nice soft and crisp top and bottom delicious. Lobster tail was perfectly seasoned, the heated butter they put on the table was a great addition to it. Asparagus we're good but next time I would of order another started for the price instead. The whipcream was a better alternative if you don't want to have the sweet cream top of carrot cake. Their non alcohol drink were limited. Lastly for this type of restaurant I expect better toilte paper not cheap rough and thin. The paper towel where nice quality to be expected.“
“As usual had a reservation. But when there are seats open at the bar that’s where we go. Just the best atmosphere, and greatest servers. If you can have Jose shuck a dozen “Gulfies” it’s a great way to start the evening. Jose has been there over 20 years, and is just as friendly, and affable as he was 20 years ago. Always. Great food and Great service. And, don’t miss the key lime pie. The BEST !!!“
“These are the absolute best shrimp tacos on the planet. You read that right. It’s not hype or fanfare. I am a career foodie and cook. Food trucks are sorely overlooked. Shrimp are fried to utter perfection. Crispy, golden battered heaven on the outside, juicy and succulent on the inside with tangy slaw, crispy cabbage and not one but two choices of chipotle sauce.(mild and spicy) Take it from me and get them with mozzarella cheese. They toast the cheese on the tortilla so that there is a crispy brown coating on top and melted, cheesy nirvana underneath. And for only $4 a taco, the portion are quite ample. Tacos are HUGE and they do not skimp on the shrimp! The owner and his family were sitting near my table and they saw my face when I took the first bite. He told his family, “Now that’s the face you wanna see!”. Places like these remind why I love food so much.“

“My husband & I originally walked in to look at their menu and saw the souvenir penny smashing machine and got pennies which I collect. Since then we went for dinner. I thought i had left a review at that time but it looks like I didn't. I know my husband and I both thoroughly enjoyed our meals which were very delicious but neither of us can remember what we had. Ok we are old! The service was fine and we will be returning! Highly recommend!!“
