“Another great experience last evening. Food and beverages were phenomenal as always (shrimp cocktail, yellowtail sashimi, steaks, sides). Our server, Taylor Guzik, was fabulous...knowledgeable, friendly, attentive...an absolute delight! Many thanks Taylor for the Anniversary deserts...decadent!! We always sit in the bar area to listen to and appreciate the fine musicians. Last night was no exception. Renee Patrick, Nicole Pesce and their drummer were as good as it gets. Many thanks!!!!!!“

It's been 3 years of great food and amazing experiences with everyone who works at this gem of a place in Scottsdale. Tonight we got to enjoy Georgia (again) in the bar area for Happy Hour and she is always the most positive ray of sunshine! ☀️ The perfect end to our week. The Limoncello martini is always refreshing as is the Tangerine Dream that my hubby loves. But the blackened salmon HH tacos and oysters are out-of-this-world!! Can't wait to go back more often to see Georgia during the summer months! 💛🐟🐠💙☀️

Our first time here! We were so excited to try something new and new it all really was! The first thing you'll notice is when you walk in, it's a little escape from the desert to a seaside location (LOVE!). The soothing colors and assorted decor of the restaurant gave this desert girl a buzz of interest. I was immediately in a happy mood. Georgia was our server in the bar high-top tables and she was so pleasant to work with. She was attentive, kind, great at recommendations, and a willingness to make sure all was made to order. We had the ahi ceviche (YUM), the grilled artichoke, and the fish stew for our dinner. All was spiced perfectly, cooked perfectly, and looked amazing on our plates. We also had a chance to meet Robert, the manager, who gave us some great background about the restaurant. How lucky are we in Scottsdale to have such a fantastic California gem here? We will be back again and again and again! The hosts are so welcoming and upbeat...you'll feel amazing from the moment you step in the door!

Last night was the latest A++ dinner where everything was done perfectly, and danced on our tastebuds like magic. “The specials are always, well, special. The seafood is fresh and almost always perfectly prepared and the chefs are creative without being pretentious about it. My two minor complaints are that some of the menu staples - in particular the fish and chips - can be a little inconsistent (I get it, as it's not fun to make compared to some other items) and that the fried shrimp is only a sometimes offering. Would be awesome if that were a regular.“

“The sourdough and whipped ricotta w/ honey was amazing!! The Branzino was very good and the pistachio cheesecake is hard to beat. We had two great bottles of wine that were half of on Thursdays.
Everyone was very nice but they definitely seemed understaffed. We waited about 5 minutes at the front before someone finally checked us in, they person who seemed to be filling the waters kept passing our table and we had to flag down the hostess to get more water. Also, personally, I am not a fan of restaurants that allow non-service dogs to be in the main indoor dining areas.
Overall, this place had great food and a wonderful atmosphere. Just seems to need more staff during restaurant week.“

“Chef Mary and Cater really knocked it out of the park with both the food and service. Our group had the chowder, crawfish étouffée, mussels, and seafood smoked dip… WOW. We had never experienced seafood steaming-style cooking before and it was such a fun experience. The Cajun and Creole flavors were absolutely dynamite. We walked right in around 8:00 PM with a group of four and had a great time. Definitely recommend, especially if you’ve never tried this style of food preparation before!“

“I just spent my first time going to Ocean 44 and I must say, this is one of the best restaurants I had ever been to. When I took my wife there they really took care of us. Any questions we had about the menu they made sure they walked us through the whole menu so knew how everything works. They took care of us just as good as being at a life loan Doctors office. I definitely recommend this place and especially to take your date to.“

“This place is amazing. Very good food , very very friendly staff, good music and the right level. The lighting was even perfect. The late night Seen is the best seven to close. Very easy-going very chill Tuesday night. The food is very good. The staff is super polite and it’s tucked away off the beaten path. How good the food is mixed in with the atmosphere. Hands-down, one of the best hidden little gems in Scottsdale. I don’t write these that much. I’m not drunk either. ;) but very good food and very nice people with a solid atmosphere!“

“Had a truly excellent experience yesterday for brunch on the patio. It started with the hostess seating us which was very professional and courteous. Alexis was our server and she was amazing. Found out during the end of our meal that she had only been working there for two days. She was as knowledgeable and professional as she could be. She checked back numerous times to see if we needed anything. The brunch burger was amazing. So many flavors inside one bun! The Bloody Mary’s were spot on! We dont live here but if we did this would be a regular spot for brunch, business dinners or just a great date night! In todays world of lousy service and subpar service, this place is a shining star!!!!!“

“I was here for my birthday 8/25/24 with my girlfriend. It was an absolute delight! I had the grass fed ribeye, medium well, and it was probably the best steak I've ever had. “Located a mile from the Four Seasons Scottsdale, there aren’t a lot of good options around Troon. SWAN delivers excellent and fresh sushi. Owned by a Japanese couple, they maintain excellent standards and prices are more than fair.

Full bar and Sapporo on draft for $7.

Nice outdoor terrace with plenty of heaters.

Overall, excellent sushi restaurant with other options including miso black cod, noodles and chicken.“

“I have celiac and we are traveling cross county right now and I’m trying as many dedicated gf spots as I can. This was a really special dinner. We ordered at least 8 items off the menu because everything looked so amazing. Everything was very top notch and, to me, somehow tased both familiar and something you couldn’t quite place, in a good way. We tried appetizers, main courses and a couple of desserts and I absolutely everything was amazing! Thanks for a great meal!“

“The place was small and empty but we got the chicken fried rice and lo mein. I ate most of the chicken fried rice because that's usually what I get when I go to Chinese restaurants. It was delicious and had a good flavor that was authentic and not bland at all.“

“We enjoyed the atmosphere, even though we did not have reservations we were seated within 10 min. The wait staff (Wolfe and Cayden) were very courteous and professional. The food was outstanding, we particularly enjoyed the tuna tartar appetizer, but everything else (grouper, salmon, mushrooms) was delicious. I mentioned it was my wife's birthday, and they brought out a beautiful little Signature Butter Cake. This was a wonderful dining experience for us, we will we back!“

“The Krispy Crunchy Chicken is located inside the Shell Station and if you haven't tried it, you should because it's good stuff. I suggest their honey mustard sauce for dipping, good stuff too.I think they only serve Mon- Fri till 1 or 2pm and not serving Saturday and Sunday. “I come here quite often with my family. The food is always amazing and the portions are very fair.
Only reason I'm giving it only 4 stars is because the employees didn't seem happy to be there and while they were nothing bad they were more just...indifferent I would say is the best way to describe it. I recommend take out rather than eating in.
Just think there should of more energy around the place. I understand that someone times it's just a way to pay the bills but providing a happy atmosphere and service it's what keep people coming back the food too of course lo.“
