“We truly enjoy Eddie V's but often feel like we are "secondhand citizens" because we don't drink and don't eat shellfish. As a result, we frequently (such as this occasion) feel like our server ignores follow up on us in deference to tables ordering more expensive dishes. In truth, we spent over $200 for the two of us without alcohol or dessert which I think is an expensive dinner. Food was good and we enjoy the fact that we can get half serving of side dishes and try new things. In comparison to other high end steak houses that offer a smaller filet (8 and 12 ounce), Eddie V's takes the tack of only offering the 10 ounce filet. Perhaps it is a strategy to limit the steak consumption in a restaurant that is more focused on seafood but I think that a smaller filet would be of value.“
“First time here and it was phenomenal. Veda was amazing. We went for our 10 year anniversary and everything about the experience was perfect. We will be back for sure. Had the Calamari and the light batter with the baby corn was so good. The French onion soup was so flavorful too. We had the prime rib and the rib eye. The prime rib has to be one of the best I've ever had.“

“Forewarned - this place is super expensive. We did it once, but wouldn't go back. Experience is worth it, but probably more so for those who drink bourbon. We started with the jumbo shrimp cocktail ($10/piece). Then we went right into the main course - Filet and Rack of Lamb. Both were extremely good. We added lobster (+$75) to the Filet and a flambe to the lamb. I couldn't eat all of the lamb - 25oz. The next day's lunch was amazing :). And we had mashed for the side - a little bit too sweet. Wish the waiter had mentioned the additional cost, but that's what happens when you go to super expensive restaurants. It was an experience.“
“In town with the girlfriend and her family, and wanted to treat my girlfriend to a nice night out and found this place. Beautiful from the moment when we pulled in to the parking lot and to the moment we walked into the restaurant.My girlfriend ordered the Parmesan crusted chicken. And it looked amazing.Plated good. I ordered the 12oz Filet Mignon. And it was okay. Looked and tasted burnt on the top. Plated meh. Just came with 3 cooked mini bell peppers. For a $78 steak, I was expecting a better plated meal with better garnish or sauce. But other than that, our server was amazing and looked like Rick Harris from Pawn Stars. “Joanna and I ate dinner at Cholla steakhouse tonight. I had a Caesar salad, ribeye steak, spinach and garlic mushrooms. All delicious! Joanna had a salad, filet mignon, potatoes au gratin and carrots. She's a notoriously picky eater but she LOVED her dinner. Before dinner a waiter brought out little ribeye bites, which were tasty and tender and warm bread with butter and a pesto sauce that was delicious. We shared a lemon tres leches cake for dessert. We were happy to try a new restaurant and happy it was so good. Pleasant ambience, excellent service and outstanding food.“

“Absolutely delicious! The steak was cooked perfectly, with an incredible smokiness due to their unique grill. The Brussels sprouts are the best I've ever eaten, and I make them every few weeks. Get the bread pudding, trust me. Ask for Michael as a server, he is extremely knowledgeable, personable, and attentive. Guided us on the menu with perfect choices, and a HUGE library of food knowledge in his head.“
“Amazing across the board! My wife and I booked a reservation while on a business trip. The food was incredible. The buttermilk mashed potatoes could be a good group. The service team and our server, Kelsey, were all incredible. The upstairs space by the pool was fun, lively and unique. All and all, a terrific meal!“
