“We went on a Wednesday night which was a quiet night. The service was great. The waitress was pleasant, the server was polite and the bar tender was friendly and helpful. The oysters were great!! The dish I wanted was no longer available so the waitress suggested something different. The clam linguine looked like soup. The broth was watery for both dishes and mine was a little lemony. The wine was good. The shrimps were a good size and tender.“
“It was a very good dinner and the wait staff was excellent. Yes, it is expensive, but it's Scottsdale so you know what you're getting. We bought the Chef's choice which included several plates. Spent around 200 with a 30 tip and four drinks. If you are looking to get stomach stuffed and a bit tipsy at a sub $100 bill, you'll probably be disappointed. This place is all about the taste. If you are looking to have a nice lil experience or take your significant other on a nice date with live music, this is a great time.I think the staff was the best part, I really did feel he tried his hardest to help us enjoy the time. For me, I am content with a Big Mac and conversation. For my date, she likes all the bougie stuff. Despite this, I'd say the cost was worth it for her happiness and the quality of the food. The music, nice area, food and amicable staff made it a very pleasant event. If you've got tons of disposable income, this could be a great spot for lunch, as they have lots of choices. If you are like me and just wanted to make a lady happy, it's a great spot for ambiance.“
“We went for a wine dinner with two other family members. Really enjoyed the evening was actually better than we expected. Not sure we would return just because of the physical location and the amount of travel time it requires to get there from where we live. sorry I don’t have any pictures to add.“
“A friend and I came here at 5:45pm, right before their happy hour ended, but were able to order off of the happy hour menu anyways. I love it when menus include food AND drinks on their happy hour menus. And since they didn't have availability at the bar, they sat us outside at a regular table, which was totally fine with us. I got a spicy margarita while my friend got a sangria. She said her sangria didn't taste like there was any alcohol and she is typically very low tolerance, so that's saying something. My spicy margarita was great though, so maybe just keep that in mind when choosing your drink! For food, we ordered: chips and salsa, mahi tostada, shrimp el governor, and al pastor tacos. We were expecting smaller portions since it was happy hour, but were pleasantly surprised with how much food there was. They give you a lot of chips, so it was probably our mistake of eating too many before we got our regular entrees. We were pretty stuffed after the tacos and shrimp el governor, so didn't necessarily need the third dish. Everything was delicious, but our favorites were the tacos and shrimp el governor. We did notice that each dish had a bit of an unexpected kick, so those who are sensitive to spice should ask ahead of time! Overall great service and good value - would definitely recommend coming by for happy hour!“
“We always come here for the Christmas Tree lighting ceremony at the hotel and get some drinks afterwards. Service is always prompt, even during those event nights. The menu is pretty much small bites and plates version of their Spanish restaurant, Prado. Usually they have live jazz music on busier nights. The grilled octopus app was tender and yet had a good smoky flavor from the wood fire grilling. Don't forget to show them your parking ticket to get it comped :)“
“Beautiful Alhambra-inspired atmosphere with live Spanish guitar the night we came. Our server was a delight--incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, competent and warm. Desserts were wonderful and very inventive. Food was excellent though not quite transcendent.“
“Excellent restaurant. Food was great, vibe was awesome, staff was welcoming and knowledgeable. Word of caution, the smoked cheesecake was really odd. It seems to be a popular dessert, but it left a lot to be desired. Everything else was lovely.“
“Forgot to take photos! Had the chicken empanada which was delicious. The spicy pork tacos are tasty as well. Juli and her daughter are lovely and make you feel at home. Come eat here! Don’t save it for while you’re waiting for pizza across the street.“
“love the location, funny enough I live down the street!! haha what a wonderful spot to go have a few drinks and spend time with friends!! blueberry spaceship box for the win always, but the pillars of creation is where it's at. Stop by for happy hour for good vibes and great prices!!“
“Delicious local dining establishment. Not easy to see from the intersection, but it's there on the south west corner. Just trust your GPS. Excellent food and a fabulously upscale menu. One more thing, if there isn't any parking right in front, just follow the signs and go around the corner. There's tons of parking in the back. And, if you park in the back you can enter through the kitchen entrance which is quite fun and makes you feel like a real insider! Try the salmon on the cedar plank it's one of their specialties.“
“Food: we ordered the potato croquettes and they were amazing!! Drinks: I ordered the black dahlia and it was so tasty I could've easily drinks those all night Service: everyone was so friendly and helpful. Aubrey and Fernando were the best and Chef Andrew even came out and chatted w us about the menu. They were all phenomenal and you can tell they have a passion for the restaurant Ambiance: so cozy and such great neighborhood feel, great vibes and feels like home“
“I've eaten Thai from Bar Harbor Maine to Florida to San Deigo. & when I say this is the best Thai I've ever eaten. Wish I could give 6 stars! The authentic flavor profile of the dishes were like tiny explosions in my mouth. Even the spring rolls were heavenly. And don't get me started on desert. The mango sticky rice & Gelato is a must try! Will be back soon. Service was great also. Awesome atmosphere.“
“Been coming here for 8 years and never had a bad experience. The food is delicious and the place has a really nice vibe. The manager has been there as long as I can remember and he's always actively working the floor and is extremely polite. You can tell he genuinely enjoys his job and cares about the experience you have when you are there. I've been to a ton of sushi places in Phoenix, and there are several that I really like, but Sushiholic is my favorite.“
“I was pretty hungover yesterday and a friend door-dashed me some ramen from here. WOW. It was absolutely delicious. The broth was so tasty and she sent some spring rolls too that were really good. I haven't had a ton of ramen in my life but this was definitely the best I've had. It brought me back to life! Highly recommend! I look forward to dining in sometime in the future.“
“One my favorite new restaurants! Great service and even better food. We started with dip duo which consisted of the best guacamole I've had in years and homemade pimento cheese. I got the blackened ahi tuna that was reminiscent of tuna I've had in Hawaii -- the flavor and quality of the tuna was superb. I was pleasantly surprised at the tasty side salad included with the entree that had large chunks of fresh avocado. My guest got the steak frites that had a tasty and tender hanger steak with incredibly delicious "thin fries".“
“Worth the hype!Ambiance and service were great! Super friendly people and quaint, lively vibe inside.Quoted 1.25hr for a table, had cocktails and waited only 45 minutes.Apps were good, mozz needed salt in our opinion, ham wrapped cheese was super yum.Papperdelle had great texture but we felt it lacked seasoning.Pies were stellar on flavor and the outer crust was soooooo good. We had hoped for a little less flop at the center of the pie but didn't stop us from crushing 3!!!The deserts were absolutely a pleasant surprise. The tres lettuce cake was outstanding and the rice Gelato is something that we all found interesting and delicious. You can tell that there are still a lot of people who love what they do running this restaurant. Is everyone we encountered was extremely nice and helpful. We loved the very laid back.Feel of the space and felt zero pretension.Highly suggest checking this place out if you are in phoenix.“
“This restaurant is absolutely incredible! My understanding is that this is a James beard chef and I cannot explain how good the food was! Best guacamole I’ve ever had. And I didn’t see a gin drink on the menu and the bar tender created something on the spot for me that was so full of flavor. Highly recommend jumping off the streetcar for a meal and drink.“
“Delicious and healthy, the meal commenced with a bowl of miso soup. Shrimp tempura was light and tender. Edamame are tasty. Gyoza was delightful with each morsel yielding a variety of texture. Chicken Katsu Curry had a light panko bread, offering a sense of fusion cuisine. The California roll, lovely in its simplicity, paralleled the dragan roll, an excellent combination of shrimp and smoked eel. The green tea perfectly complimented the meal. The music is not japanese, is too loud, and is somewhat disagreeable. Besides that, the atmosphere is pleasant and server Ariana was attentive.“
