“I first heard about Yasuo Sushi as I was a big fan of Sushi Vibe in Uptown Phoenix plaza, which I think is owned by the same people and they advertised Yasuo on the shared menu. Once I moved to Scottsdale, Yasuo was much more convenient.

My family and I love their sushi, beer, rock shrimp, spicy edamame, etc. When my parents visit, they always want to go to this place at least once, if not more.

The beers are large, so good for sharing. The rock shrimp has the perfect amount of sauce and spice drizzled on. And you really cannot beat the lunch deals/prices or the happy hour prices. Service has always been very fast and good. All employees always are hard at work and very pleasant.

You may have to wait for a short time if it is busy, but never for very long. Parking can be challenging at times in the plaza, but eventually you’ll find one, might just have to walk a bit.“

“The food was incredible as well as the service. Our server Ismael went above and beyond to make sure we had a very pleasant experience. Plus the Omni offers such a great ambiance. It is like being in Spain, but in the middle of Phoenix. If you need a out city type experience, you cannot go wrong with the Prado and the Omni.“

“Hands down our favorite restaurant in Scottsdale! BYOB is the added bonus however Atlas has an amazing selection of great wines for purchase. Chef Jabari is incredibly talented. His food is delectable and his presentations are absolutely beautiful. This intimate restaurant is a MUST try for foodies!l“

“Surprising delight after visiting the Pompeii exhibit at the Arizona Science Center. Tried beef empananda, Pork testones and beef tacos. All were exceptional. The pork was a wondeful taste the rest of the night. Also tried the blackberry mojito that was recommended. I highly suggest stopping by when in the area, well worth the effort. Family owned and run.“

“The biancoverde is soo good and so is their pappardelle pasta! A perfect dog ear slice and bright tomato sauce for the pasta. Even the olive oil was bright in flavor to dip the bread in. The bread was chewy and seemed like the least interesting thing to eat. I will be back!“

“I came here with some business associates, who are visiting. It exceeded my expectations. I was a little concerned trying to find it but the whole experience (table, staff, food) was great. “Pizza spot by James beard award winning chef. Great food and walking distance from the convention center. My only recommendation is getting there early and being ready for a wait because they stay busy and don’t take orders to go. These are all signs of a busy/good restaurant though!!“
