12 Best Steakhouses near Surprise

“I am normally not one to write reviews, however, I feel you may be interested in this feedback. Let me start by saying your food is amazing and the wings are the best I've ever had (and I've had wings everywhere). My wife and I visit the Surprise, Az. location once a week (sometimes twice) and we only sit at the bar. Our bartender's typically are Tiffany Miles, another Tiffany, and Robert. They are fantastic, customer service is impeccable and Tiffany Miles makes a legit White Russian. We love this location and their staff. Recently, they have introduced a 6pm chant that is a little annoying and distracting. As I'm sure this is a corporate decision, this particular location is basically in the retirement community of Sun City and we like our peace and quiet time. Now that our kids are grown, we stopped going to the Texas Roadhouse next door, because of their busy, annoying atmosphere. Stick to what you all do well: Great food, tremendous value, exemplary service, and a relaxing bar. The only reason I gave the atmosphere a low rating is because of the ridiculous 6pm nonsense! OY, OY, OY!!! (See how annoying that is).“

“Was actually on the way to Texas Roadhouse but I mentioned I'd never been to Longhorn neither had my wife. So we went and I ordered the 22oz longhorn and my lady the 12oz New York strip. We also tried the chicken strips as an appetizer, Parmesean Fries, and Mac and cheese. All deliciously cooked to perfection.
Ordered medium well and got a medium well.
Impressed with our waitress Elizabeth. Attentive and Helpful she was the peak of our Longhorn experience.. the restaurant also has amazing ambiance and comforting atmosphere which had me struggling to stay awake after I had nearly put myself into a food coma.. 10/10 will return.“

“It's been awhile since we've eaten at Firebirds. That won't happen again! I'm a foodie and we go out to dinner a lot, I believe, since Covid, dining out has been a bit disappointing. I don't mind paying the inflated prices but service has gotten so bad, that it's affected our whole dinning experience Fast forward, our anniversary dinner last night at Firebirds, they do it right! That manager and hostess were so gracious, delightful, and welcoming that I felt a foreign feeling (a restaurant that truly honored and cared about their customers) what a way to make your customers feel special! We were taken to the table with a nice anniversary card signed by all the staff and our waitress, Taylor, should get a raise for her incredible service throughout our entire meal. She was on top of it, making sure all went well, and it did! I usually don't refer to other local restaurants, but Coppershawk, you should take lessons! It's very rare these days that both food and service are 5 starts, last night it was! Thank you for the perfect evening in celebrating our 43 rd anniversary, we can't wait to come back GREAT JOB GUYS!!!“

“Hello, We are visiting from NC and we are celebrating our 18th wedding anniversary. Arrowhead Grill made our experience really special and truly thankful for the excellent service and atmosphere!! Our server Megan (along with assistant and alternate server) was very attentive and when we walked to our table I noticed the red flower petals which was really lovely. Thank you so much the food was amazing, this place will always be our annual visit when coming to AZ. My favorite and will never change is the Chilean seabass..hats of to the chef!! “Such a beautiful restaurant with a great atmosphere! The staff was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. I had the lobster bisque and the filet mignon, and both were absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly. Everything from the food to the service was on point. I really enjoyed my experience and would definitely come back!“

“Enjoyed an Anniversary dinner at Morton’s. So surprised at the caliber of this restaurant in our local casino. Patti was lovely, she was pulled in too many directions, so we started our entrees with no drinks and there was no offer of coffee or an after dinner drink- hence the 4 stars. Other wise, great food, beautiful ambiance and I am sure Patti was doing the best given the situation. Thoroughly enjoyed our evening.“

“The food was cooked well. The staff was very friendly. The manager was extremely welcoming. They went over my order prior to leaving but once I got home I did realize I asked for end cut prime rib and it was a center cut also I asked for raw horseradish and got creamy. Not a huge deal I should have payed more attention as well as them. I definitely will go back to this one.“

“Went here on a Saturday night, was crowded but plenty of room to move around without being in anyone's way. Leta our Server started us off with drinks: red wine with sangria- very smooth, and fruity, and a Brazilian margarita which we had in blueberry flavor- very unique. The appetizer bar had a lot of offerings, but we bypassed the soup, and each had a small salad, and some mozzarella with tomato & fresh basil. Then came the Meats: everything the waiters brought out we tried, my favorites: beef with garlic, filet mignon with bacon, tri tip, and chicken Parmesan, and lamb shank. Others were just as good: filet mignon, roasted ham, & rib eye. ENDLESS MEATS .... We also ordered a grilled pineapple that had a nice sweet honey taste to it. My two friends ordered the shrimps: very fresh, they had them both mild, and extra hot with jalepenos. Because we were celebrating a milestone occasion we got to share a crème brûlée that was perfect, with a nice crunch to it. One person had cheesecake with strawberry: smooth, fresh, creamy- so Good !, and a Brazilian coffee: dark roast with bold flavor. The Staff was great- very attentive, friendly, engaging in how everyone was doing— all during a busy time of the night. I would definitely recommend this place, if you are a Meat Lover- this is the place for you !“

“The food is amazing with some unique ingredients and flavors. The servers are friendly, know the menu, and the timing of the courses has been perfect. It took a while for the water and server to initially come to our table on our last visit, which was unusual. This restaurant is inside a casino, so the walk from the valet through the slots can be an interesting cast of characters.“
