“Amazing dinner at a local gem that exceeded expectations. The menu showcased a diverse range of dishes, each a culinary masterpiece. From the appetizers, which we ordered Oysters for, bursting with flavor to the main courses crafted to perfection, every bite was a delight. We ordered the Ora King Salmon and the Prime Rib Filet Mignon and it was both delicious. As a side we ordered the Parkerhouse Rolls and they were so amazing, I would highly recommend everyone to order those!The ambiance was inviting, and the staff’s friendly demeanor enhanced the overall dining experience. We even received a free dessert from the kitchen for our anniversary, which was very thoughtful!A must-visit for those seeking a gastronomic adventure in a welcoming setting.“

“This is one of our favorite spots in the valley for sushi. The food is great and the service is helpful, friendly , and attentive. The happy hour deals are great. One of our favorite dishes is the coconut shrimp, but you can pick anything on the menu and won't be disappointed. The place itself is clean, modern, and comfortable. Highly recommend it.“

“A wonderful restaurant for sushi and sashimi as well as other Japanese food options! We all enjoyed our meal and will all return over and over again. I have introduced many new people to the restaurant and they are thrilled with the find. They too will return and not bother driving downtown for very good and fresh sushi and sashimi. “A group of us were in old town Scottsdale, and was walking around the new civic center to build up an appetite. 4 adults and 4 children that spanned the ages of 4-16, so we could have went to Grimaldi’s but passed by this place and some of the kids were tired of pizza and wanted Ramen. I know, kids tired of pizza… seems odd but true. They have a nice and clean A/C dining room but we opted for the outdoor patio seating area. As there was a nearby Jazz festival. It set the mood for a great dining experience. Ethan was our server, and even though it was a packed house, he got all of orders and assured that the food arrived nice and hot. We were happily surprised by the quality of the Tonkatsu Ramen, the noodles were just the amount of al dente and firmness. The broth was flavorful but not overly salty which complimented the pork belly and the medium egg. It was delicious and just 12$. We ordered some California rolls, shrimp tempura rolls, tempura udon soup, and sashimi. It was yummy, not leftovers at all. It was delicious, my family and I returned again. Ethan and the owner are not only great “hosts” but also delivered world class customer service and hospitality at the level you may come to expect at a fine dining establishment. We will be back.

“Best Ramen, so delicious! Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and overall awesome. Kyle helped my kids open their Japanese sodas and gave them a tutorial on how to use their chopsticks. When my 10-year-old still couldn’t manage the sticks, he brought her a plastic tool to help her practice. The Cut rolls came out fast and were delicious. We had a great experience as a family and will definitely be back!“

“Went in for lunch after picking up my new Tesla up the road for a celebratory lunch. There wasn't many people inside but it had very nice decor.
The waitress was friendly and attentive. Menu was expensive and had alot of variety.
We ordered some sushi, gyosa, some fried rice, yakisoba and orange chicken. A good mix of Japanese and Chinese food.
Taste wise- everything we ordered was excellent. Food, other than the sushi (obviously), was served hot which is always a plus.
The sole reason for 4* for food was portion size. Wished it was a little bit more. Quality and taste was great and price was borderline fair given the economy- but just wished portion size was a little bigger.

“The food, service, drinks, and décor are fantastic! However, the loud club and rap music was horrible. I am utterly confused about your blatant dismissal regarding the music choices. You claim to not be a traditional tiki bar, yet you are in every single way... except for the music! You call it a "modern twist" (whatever that means) and it just doesn't work with the theme. It's a real shame because the valley is seriously lacking a good tiki bar and you are SO CLOSE to being the best. It's very tragic, honestly. I would spend hundreds of dollars there (again and again), if you just embraced it and went all in with the whole tiki kit and cabooodle. Please enlighten me why ya'll are so dead set on not playing tiki music. Take a poll or do a trial run, see how it's received... something!!“
