“I have to say if you have ever considered eating at Sage and Barrel.. don’t wait.
We’ve been going for a few months now probably at least once a week and we usually try different items. We have never been disappointed. My husband likes the Cubano sandwich and the fried chicken and I usually get the chicken bruschetta or the margherita flatbread. We have never been disappointed. We have tried other things as well but, those most definitely are our favorites. The kids barrel burger and fried are our grandsons favorite“

“I absolutely love this place, I had an issues with my delivery purchase (which was through a third party app) BUT they did such an amazing job handling it and helping me out. I was refunded and even offered $5 off my meal if I did choose to purchase again. They were AMAZING and quick with fixing my issues. And the bowls are an absolute daily craving!!“

“I will start this off by saying that Jared at this location saved the day.I was on my way with my bestie to go pick up my stepdaughter from Karate in Gilbert. I was going to be 15 minutes early, so I decided to stop off and pick up a 1 piece chicken strip and 4 piece shrimp combo for me and a 3 piece fish combo for him.It's made to order, so it took about 10 minutes for the food to be ready.We leave to finish heading to go pick up my daughter. The chicken was super hot, so I just ate the fries for a few. I stop at a light and pull apart the chicken... it was RAW. Not a little bit of pink raw, RAW RAW.I called and spoke with Jared, who was apologetic and understanding. He asked if we'd be able to come back, and he'd refund and remake my order. I told him I had to go pick up my daughter in Gilbert, but I'd swing back by on my way home. He told me to take my time, and ask for him when I got to the store.We got to the location and he ensured that everything remade was cooked to perfection and issued my refund. He did let us know that there were new people being trained and the batter was probably not shaken off enough for an even cook.I attached pics of the raw chicken and the remade order.Jared, thank you for being so understanding and turning what was an awful experience to an excellent one!“

“I recently went there with my good friend Cheryl L. The food & service was Awesome! 2nd time there and I love it. We shared the Banana Cream Pie for dessert (our server Amber L highly recommended it) and it did NOT disappoint. 😋“

“Great place for simple seafood that never disappoints! Started with 2 different types of oysters from East coast our fav! And Chilean sea bass was cooked to perfection! If you like vodka with fresh strawberries go for the “wicked strawberry”, so refreshing! And don't forget the fried okra! They always have specials of the day too! Cheers“

“I ordered the Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail as a starter, the Shrimp Alfredo Pasta dish & a slice of cheesecake for dessert. Everything tasted fantastic... The only reason I give it a 4 star for the food is because the cocktail sauce was a little on the spicy side for me (although I think bell peppers are spicy so that's where my lack of tolerance is lol) and the shrimps in the pasta still had the tails on it, which I thought was a bit odd for a pasta dish so it was slightly annoying that I had to dig around in my pasta to find all the shrimps and cut the tails off myself before I could properly dig in.

However the service was fantastic and everything tasted delicious (even the slightly too-spicy-for-me cocktail sauce! I just took sips of root beer between bits of shrimp cocktail to reset my taste buds).

Overall fantastic food & fantastic, friendly service!

Wheelchair accessibility: Very wheelchair/mobility scooter friendly. The aisles between tables are nicely wide to maneuver a wheelchair or mobility scooter.

The door doesn't have a handicap button however the staff saw me approaching up the sidewalk and opened the door for me before I got there and held the door open as I left.“

“I love this! I used to wait for the Arabian Horse Show to get the lobster rolls. There, it was twice the price for just the lobster roll...and they ALWAYS ran out! Now I found an easy way to treat the family and a meal is cheaper than McDonald's!“

“Ginger Garden has become a special place for our family! The cashew chicken and their house chicken dish are fantastic choices! Both have such a great balance of flavors. We especially enjoy the egg drop soup because it's not too salty. Having a great server like Winnie and consistently delicious food has made many memorable dining experiences.“

“We brought a group of 20 last night to your restaurant. We had an amazing time. Service was the best and our waitress is #1 Angie. Food was excellent and everyone tried different meals. I would highly recommend if you want a romantic evening or a large group they accommodate. Manager came and introduced himself . Definitely a 5 . We were there for 2 hours of dinner, drinks, and a social before heading back. Thank you👏“

“It was my first time back since Covid hit. It was just as tasty as before. The waitstaff made sure I was happy with everything, even well after bringing my food. They followed all the current protocols of these times too.“

“A couple weeks ago I made a hefty order to take to an impromptu family get together. It was surprisingly quick to get all the different items and flavors too! Everything we tried was great and the chicken is so good! We tried the traditional and a bunch of sides. I’m not sure we have favorites yet other than everything we tried but the quality was great.

I really love the different specials they have throughout the week. The quality is worth the price but those specials really help the wallet. We are definitely fans!“

“I had the fajitas, and of course, the chips and salsa. Everything is made from scratch there, and you can really tell. Absolutely delicious! I tried the green salsa just to test it out. I’m not normally a green salsa guy, so expectations were low. I could not stop eating the green salsa after I tried it. The chips, fajitas, tortillas…were all delicious. After our awesome waitress Ebony told us how much she loves the rice and beans, I tasted them and understood why. The refried beans are the best I have EVER had. 10 out of 10 place to eat. Everyone was helping each other, and smiling. Friendly staff and great “chill” music. People seem to enjoy working there, and it shows.“

“The egg drop soup was DELICIOUS. The egg rolls were pretty good, needed just the slightest bit more flavor. The Beef Lo Mein was good, albeit a bit salty for my liking. Server was attentive and kind, offered drink refill plenty of times. Highly recommend!“

“We’ve been to this location before when it was a different restaurant (it was just okay) and decided to see if it was any good. We ordered carne asada fries, protein bowl, and a fish burrito. The food was really tasty and the portions were very good for the price. Our server was also very friendly and attentive during our time there.

We’ll definitely be back and will probably try the chilaquiles and shrimp tacos. I would highly recommend this place if you’re in the area.“

“Atmosphere would have been a 5 star also, but the overly loud New York style jazz "music" is not appropriate to an "Italian" themed resteraunt. It is quite annoying and "sharp" to the ear and 7 out of the 8 of our party didn't like it. The other person was an ex "New Yorker". P.S. this resteraunt is in Phoenix,Az.“

“It’s hard to pick my favorite sandwich. They are all so yummy. I like the Wicked, Philly and the Club. I never miss getting the fries! They are so fresh and delicious. Better than McDonalds.

Kid-friendliness: If you get a kids meal it comes with a token to get some candy out of the dispenser.“
