“Fantastic new find for us. we had the shrimp etoufee which was amazing. So authentic and flavorful.. The chicken wings "dankenstein style" were dry rubbed and had am amazing blend of spices. I def believe there was some creole seasoning combined with a tiny bit if faunt sweetness. Seasoned perfectly... honestly my favorite wings ever. not 1 bit greasy, glistening inside. Just crazy. My wife had the chicken Salad which sounds boring, but not this chicken salad. Great service. Friendly owner who was mentored by our fave Cali soul food chef. Just crazy good. We will be back... prob on Wing Wed again lol. A must try. 10 out of 10.“
“As usual had a reservation. But when there are seats open at the bar that’s where we go. Just the best atmosphere, and greatest servers. If you can have Jose shuck a dozen “Gulfies” it’s a great way to start the evening. Jose has been there over 20 years, and is just as friendly, and affable as he was 20 years ago. Always. Great food and Great service. And, don’t miss the key lime pie. The BEST !!!“

“Have to throw a huge shout out to the waitress, Teri. She is amazing and deserves nothing but good things. Please, if you can, request her. She was knowledgeable, and helped our party of 10 with kids, with no help and she killed it!The great food was an added benefit, and was terrific! They stand by their word of, "no heat lamps".They even went so far as to take a lobster out and show all the kids, and educate them on the life cycle of lobsters.It was a wonderful experience, and I absolutely will make it back there. I highly recommend to anyone with kiddos.Kid-friendliness: Laid back environment, where getting dirty is okay. You can relax here as a parent and not have to worry. The kids are preoccupied drawing on the paper table cloths. Loved it!“

The service is always wonderful and they serve with you a smile on their face. On some nights they even have live music!
