YUZU OMAKASE SUSHI Reviews
My wife and I came here to eat for our anniversary. We got reservations for the Omakase ahead of time, and the team was essentially ready to go when we got there. You sit up at the bar where you can watch the chef make each sushi piece. He clearly has a passion for the craft, making fine tune adjustments so that each piece was presented nicely. The team factored in other guests dietary preferences, which you do not always see in omakase due to the set menu.

Went here last night with my husband for Father’s Day. It was absolutely delicious and a great experience for both of us. He tends to be very indecisive with food so I figured this would be a great option. We both loved the variety of dishes and they were very eloquently prepared. YUZU OMAKASE SUSHI offers a true Japanese experience in an intimate setting, transporting guests to a restaurant in Japan. This cozy spot provides a wonderful dinner experience, with a small seating area reminiscent of top bay area sushi places. At YUZU, guests can enjoy a fine selection of seafood, including dishes from Toyosu Market in Tokyo, Hokkaido, and New Zealand, prepared with great expertise. The restaurant serves a great selection of sushi and sake, with the option to sit at the sushi bar and see the detail that goes into each piece. The Omakase experience is very affordable at $85 per person, offering great value compared to other places like Shin Bay. Customers describe the experience as fun and exciting, with surprises in each bite and a welcoming staff eager to answer questions. The atmosphere is cozy, clean, and perfect for a special night out, but reservations are recommended due to the small size. While not every piece of sushi was loved, the inventive creations and flavor combinations kept the experience joyful. Many reviewers highlight that good sushi is rare in Phoenix, and YUZU is praised for consistently delivering high-quality, fresh sushi with great craftsmanship. The restaurant's dedication to using seasonal ingredients and the masterful skill of the chef make it a standout choice for sushi lovers in the area.
