right in our neighborhood and really glad we tried it tonight. The sushi was very fresh, the sauces used on the sashimi were tasty. I recommend the handrolls, we had three different ones, and all were outstanding! Very friendly and I hope they are around for a long time as we will be back!!!
One of the best nigiri sushi I've eaten. And I've had a lot. Do yourself a favor and order what's in season (and eat as prepared, skip extra soy or wasabi, the chef makes it ready to eat).
At my visit it was yellow tuna belly and black cod. The yellow tail was lightly fatty, tender and had the most subtle and clean taste of the sea, just a hint.
But it was the black cod with a tiny bit of yuzu koshu and flaky salt. Brief flash...

The omakase was phenomenal. Easily 5 stars. We were in heaven with every carefully crafted bite. What threw us off was the ambiance, which deserves a 3. The space looks and feels more like a basic sushi joint / sports bar, with TVs playing sporting matches right in front of the omakase bar, club music blaring, fake plants, and just not much attention paid to atmosphere. I have no doubt that should the owners match the ambiance and space to the exquisite quality of the food, Yuzu...
