What I got: Kurobuta Pork Belly Tapaa (melt in your mouth good), Smoked Burrata Salad, Waygu Tartare Handroll (YUM), and the Hazelnut Coffee Cheesecake. ALL was amazing, definitely a good date night place. There was live jazz and the bartender made me a custom mocktail that was to die for! My server was very nice.
So, let's begin with the positives. The service was excellent. Every staff member was polite, accommodating, and attentive. Kudos to whoever does the hiring and training! Also, the atmosphere was nice. Great design and concept of the space. With that said, the food was good but not great. We ordered scallops, iberico pork, maitake mushroom, and a pork belly appetizer. Fun place. Cool vibe. Food was a bit overpriced for what you get. The octopus appetizer was yummy but the mussels for $30 seemed a bit much. It was nice to go upstairs after dinner for an appert if and live jazz.
