“Honestly I have tried to many places since moving to Arizona and I always see such good reviews and then try the sushi spot and it’s not good, but this place, 10/10. My new favorite spot!!!! Everything was so fresh. Spencer was our sushi chef and he was amazing! I am very picky when it comes to sushi but I would try anything here. Definitely will be coming back! I got the citrus roll and the zen roll this time and was so yummy. Can’t wait to try more!“

“My family and I recently had a dining experience at this restaurant that left us with mixed feelings. While the atmosphere, service, and quality of food were generally satisfactory, our experience was unfortunately marred by the inappropriate behavior of another customer at a neighboring table.During our meal, a customer nearby used inappropriate language towards the waitress. Despite the waitress's attempts to remain professional, this behavior noticeably affected everyone present, including families with children like ours. Disappointingly, the restaurant did not take effective measures to address this situation, such as reminding the customer of their conduct or asking them to leave if necessary, to maintain a pleasant dining environment.As a public place, and especially one frequented by families, we hoped for a comfortable and respectful setting. This includes not only high-quality food and service but also ensuring all customers adhere to basic social etiquette, particularly in the presence of children.While I understand that managing a restaurant is challenging and it's impossible to control all customer behavior fully, I still hope the restaurant will manage such situations more proactively in the future to ensure a pleasant dining experience for all patrons. I'm giving four stars because our server remained patient and smiled throughout our encounter, even when faced with rudeness. We look forward to seeing improvements so we can consider choosing this restaurant for dining again in the future.“

“I had been wanting to try this place for awhile now because I love sushi and they had really good reviews.I went t during lunch time and ordered their High 5 Premium Lunch, which consisted of 11 pieces of nigiri and a 5 piece roll. I had to ask the server what kind of roll it was and she stated spicy tuna. It didn’t have the vibrant red color I expected but yep did taste like spicy tuna. The nigiri pieces were very generous. I especially enjoyed the scallop nigiri. I would go back just for that.The server was very courteous and provided excellent customer service. She even gave complimentary miso soup to everyone in the restaurant which was unexpected and appreciated. For what they charge, I do think they should automatically include miso soup as part of their lunch and dinner specials.It’s a clean restaurant with a nice casual vibe.“

“This is my first time eating at jin shabu, and it has been one of the best places I’ve eaten at. The meat and seafood are really good, and the place is really vibrant and aesthetic. The staffs (Kayling, AJ, Kyle, and Malian) are super nice, friendly and considerate, as they always check up on us and ask if we need or want anything. I would definitely recommend coming back and bring more friends and family!“

“First time here, nice ambiance and patio with a great view of the water while you dine. We ordered the gyoza to start which was tasty and crispy. For sushi we ordered a rainbow roll, crispy ca, and spicy tuna rice crispy , the fish was sooo fresh!!! This is some of the best sushi ive had in arizona!!! The rolls are a bit small compared to other restaurants but they make up in flavor and freshness . GET the spicy tuna crispy rice it is one of the best things I've ever ate truly an experience and soooooo delicious. The pomegranate martini I had paired so well with everything. I will definitely be returning im already dreaming of this sushi and everything on their menu! The waiter was attentive and checked on us constantly.“

“Mikado Sushi is an Authentic Japanese restaurant. What a pleasant surprise this place was!! The sushi quality was excellent, better than many in Chandler. Everything tasted great! And their prices are reasonable. The waitress was very friendly and kind. We can't wait to visit again.“

“It was the most amazing roll I've ever eaten. The eel on the Dragon Roll was delicious and the fried onions on top of the Big Bang Roll were a great match for the roll. Also the Sakura Roll was beautiful?This time I ordered togo, but next time I want to eat at a restaurant.“

“I need to update my review since I can't edit the last one. The manager's name is David, not Michael, lol! He remembered me from my last visit and don't ask me why I said his name is Michael, but it's DAVID! He and his staff once again came through with quick, attentive service and the fresh, delicious food. We left nothing behind. Since I'll be in this area more often now, I know I'll continue to come back again and again. The only things that could make this even better is if they had Ikura and Uni!!! I can live without Nemo, but I'd love for them to add it to their menu. Still, at the prices they have going, it's an unbelievable deal! “I love Hon Machi so much. I have been eating here for almost 15 years! My son grew up on the miso soup and the best fried rice on the planet! Trust me I have been many other places and nobody beats HM fried rice! We go here for celebrations and just for fun! Always clean and the food is soooooooo good! Love you guys at Hon Machi! “Really want to know what is the brand of the house sake, I really liked it most of all. Some good food and a nice atmosphere. Did bring us some squid nigiri by mistake so we took that as a sign to try it, I didn't like it at all. But all the other food was good. The Teppanyaki is really fun and enjoyable.“

“Love being able to order tofu for a meatless meal while shopping at the mall. One of their veggie d'light items and I sure was delighted with the food quality, quickness of the order being made, and the overall experience. You do place your order and pay on a kiosk, which I feel makes for a quicker experience. Definitely one of my favorite locations in Chandler Mall!“
