“Lolo’s Chicken and Waffles is always one of my go-to spots when I’m in Arizona and craving some real soul food. The food here consistently delivers. The biscuits and gravy are unbelievable, the cheese eggs are fantastic, and this time we also had the chicken gizzards and catfish bites, which were both excellent. It looks like they’ve remodeled since my last visit, or maybe it’s just been a few years, but the place has a slightly different vibe now. There’s even a DJ booth, which isn’t a bad idea, except the DJ mostly sat on his phone the entire time while a pre-made playlist ran. Not like I’m making requests at a breakfast spot, but it does affect the overall ambiance a bit. That said, the food is still some of the best soul food I’ve had in Arizona, and I’ll definitely keep coming back.“

“The food was delicious. Seasoned well and meat was to the bone delicious. I had catfish, green beans and potatoes, cabbage and cornbread. My mom had the BBQ rib tips and my little girl had the fried chicken with Cole slaw and Mac and cheese. I do recommend. Now if you are used to bland food, this place isn’t for you.“

“First off it was a little hole in the wall and we came in the perfect day it was just us here. The liver and pinions was the best I’ve had, Arnold and Palmer drink was A1. 👏🙌🏽.
The people inside felt like family. 😌

“I ordered 2 fish dinners and the portions was great! My mother especially enjoyed the Swai fried fish and I enjoyed the catfish! Seasoned just right and the greens was the B-O-M-B!! Thank you for a great Friday Fish Fry! YES this is definitely " A TASTE OF THE SOUTH"!! I'll be going back!!“

“I love that Angel's Naijinp cuisine represents the rich Nigerian flavored.in Phoenix!. Coming from New York where you can get any type of food at any time, it is refreshing to see the ethnicity out here. The owner Angel , is welcoming and so warm. She allows people to sample before they buy. If they are new to this type of palette. The restaurant is small and cozy and reminds me of one of the personal restaurants in NY. Only. It's on the streets of Phoenix 😁“
