“My bf and I tried Momma’s Soul fish & chicken for the first time after seeing it on TikTok. My bf who is a STL native highly approved of everything we got. Catfish, whole wings, greens, yams, okra, peach cobbler, banana pudding and even the kool aid! We will definitely be back. Well worth the 45 min drive from the east valley. See you at the grand opening of your Mesa location!!“

“We decided to try LoLo's for the first time in years. We both ordered the catfish with mac and greens and it was absolutely delicious! The catfish was crisp on the outside and flaky inside. It even reheats well when put in the oven or air fryer. I only wish that after half a piece of fish somehow jumped off my plate, the server had brought me another, as there were just two pieces to begin with. It doesn't seem it would hurt them any to have been more generous. The greens were flavorful, really well-seasoned, and a bit of LoLo's own hot sauce adds the perfect touch. (It's also great on the catfish!) The mac was cheesy and delicious. Even the cornbread was pretty good for restaurant cornbread. The meal could have been a bit larger for the price. Although everything was very tasty, I would feel I received more value if the portion was a bit larger at this price point, about $65 each, including the tip and a beverage.“

“I love that Angel's Naijinp cuisine represents the rich Nigerian flavored.in Phoenix!. Coming from New York where you can get any type of food at any time, it is refreshing to see the ethnicity out here. The owner Angel , is welcoming and so warm. She allows people to sample before they buy. If they are new to this type of palette. The restaurant is small and cozy and reminds me of one of the personal restaurants in NY. Only. It's on the streets of Phoenix 😁“

Was able to come in just before 6pm on a Tuesday. Greeted like family, treated like old friends by our server, and fed like of grandma cooked it. Best food we have had in a long time.
