The surrounding area is questionable, but they do a great job with the upkeep of their property, establishment and parking lot. Highly likely that I will visit again. “Came to dinner tonight for my mom’s birthday. She wanted a lowkey steak night and thought Longhorns would be good. We had an absolutely awesome night and dinner. The food was delicious, everything we ate was awesome. I especially liked my dish which was the Parmesan crusted chicken and the fresh bread they start you with is so good. My boyfriend and mom had steak and both liked their dishes! However the highlight was definitely our server, Michael B.Michael was such a great server! He was attentive and kept making sure we were all good with our order and with refills. He was super friendly and at the end of the night completely surprised us by bringing out an ice cream birthday Sunday for my mom. It totally made her night! She had opted out of dessert because she had felt full but still ate most of the ice cream and was super happy. Michael brought a candle and everything so we could sing to her. It totally made her night! He definitely went above and beyond for us and I really appreciated it. Great experience overall, would definitely recommend this location.“
“We tried this for the first time today. We only got one meal because we wanted to try it first. IT WAS PHENOMENAL. Sometimes food near closing is mediocre, dry, tasteless. This was not the case. Our absolute favorite is the burnt end pizza.Just from pulling up you can smell the amazing aromas coming from the restaurant. When you get inside you can order, grab a seat, and your food is brought to your table. They also have a bar to order drinks if you want something other than soda.Even my picky kids loved their food! The meats were fantastic, the pizza was some of the best we've had and the sides were pretty great as well. I highly suggest getting the corn bread when you go! The gooey cake is really sweet, we only ate about half of it so we weren't loaded down with sugar.Restaurant wise I thought the place felt cozy and the next time we go we discussed sitting in the outdoor area during nice weather. Their bathrooms are also clean and well taken care of. The only thing I could think of that might be a negative is the restaurant itself is a bit dark, even with light coming in from the front windows the lights inside could be a bit brighter since there are no windows along the side of the building or in the back. But I quickly learned real fast it's no joke! I ate all 4, and I wasn't even hungry, really because I had a nice breakfast. Didn't even get to the complementary peanut either. But the bake potatoes are the best I've ever had and I ate at a lot of fine restaurants. The steaks and all the fixings on top that came bigger than advertised. It was delicious and perfect, and when you factor in, it's only 1/4 of what you'd normally paid for at a fine dinner it really adds to the value and experience. Even if you take put the cost, it can hold its own and even top most Steakhouse. Friendly staff they are wonderful and kind. The service: Warm, welcoming, and attentive! Our server was amazingly patient while she educated us on various dishes. Seeing that it was our first time having African food, she even brought us an appetizer to try. The staff seemed genuinely happy to have us there. The food: I had a goat stew with potatoes. Doesn't sound fancy, and when I saw the portion size, I had my doubts. My doubts were immediately assuaged. (That's a 25-cent word!) The stew was so rich and flavorful that I was nearly full after just a few bites. Warning, though, the meats are left on the bone. As a result, you slow down, enjoy every bite, and savor the rich spices. Bones are good! The environment: You can't eat at a happier place! “Well I've been coming here for a few years now and can honestly say Authenticos sticks out amongst the greats! 1st off he uses arrachera (skirt steak) which is rare around the valley. It's mesquite smoked on wood so it reminds you if that family backyard BBQ asada. His pastor is also mesquite smoked and it's just as good as the asada in my opinion. He also has a wide variety of toppings like grilled onions, pico de gallo and nopales to name a few. As well I cant think of any other taquero I've been to that has fresher toppings. Also a protip if your ordering for delivery/take home, ask for toppings on the side u can steam Tacos in the micro (closed container) and add everything nice and fresh!“

They have a good selection of food and sides to go with the main dishes.When I ordered, the staff were friendly and the food was done really quick.The beef brisket is great and flavorful. The grilled andouille sausage is great and I like it charred on one side. The smoked fried chicken is really good. They smoke it and then they deep fry it quickly at the end so it's extremely juicy and the skin is perfectly crispy. For the sides, the fried okra is cooked perfectly and the mac and cheese is extremely cheesy.Overall one of the best barbecue places that I've been to in Arizona and I would definitely come back.“

The inside is lacking in atmosphere and very "plastic" feeling, with artificial Hawaiian plants trying to liven up the place. The wait for the food is appropriate considering each order is made while you wait. It was nice to find the drive-through (at the back of the building).“
