“This place was so good it almost made me wish I lived in AZ again. I got a huge platter to go, I wish I remembered the name but it had like 17 kinds of meat 🤣 (ok, maybe not 17 but a LOT!). Meat was tender and flavorful. Cornbread was moist and literally out of this world. Can't wait for my next visit to Phoenix. This will be my "go to" for sure.“

“This is not your average bbq place. This place knows it’s bbq. We were immediately greeted with a warm friendly welcome and asked if we had ever been in. We were then provided with a very thorough narrative of the extensive menu. What stood out to me was the great food but also the honesty and great service. The couple next to us ordered bbq shrimp. The head cook appeared a short time later and explained while cooking the shrimp she was training a new cook and it got away from the trainee and it did not meet their quality standards. She offered a free side or dessert for the inconvenience while having to wait for the new order. The honesty of a truthful accident is what got me They provide discounts for first responders and active snd retired military thus their name. Good food. Great service. Excellent mission is a winning combination“

“Found this by chance when scouting for good food in the area. Very nice lady greeted me at the door. Very nice gentlemen fixed me a Togo platter and another banana pudding. I tried brisket, pulled pork and chicken. All fork tender and tasty. Sides ok. Mac and cheese had good flavor but I have a feeling it was last of the pan. BBQ beans had good flavor. Do not pass on the banana pudding. Yummy. This place was not the easiest to find but I'm glad I made the effort. Recommend!“

“The last couple of times we've gone here we go and sit at the bar and order a couple of beers and then order a lunch menu of some type their food is so good it's amazing I was impressed every time. We ordered their mushrooms which is an appetizer I think and it's really good they are so good and then I think salads or whatever but that was our lunch menu the last time their food is very good I recommend it I know a lot of people go to have steaks and stuff but they have a great lunch menu too.“

We had Pulled pork, chicken, potatoes, best Mac and cheese ever and the BBQ sauce was so dang good!! I highly recommended using them to cater your occasion or stop at one of there locations. “Top Black Eats in Phoenix an Absolute favorite! My favorite is the catfish, real authentic nice sized filets! Not that frozen packaged fish, Reggie’s fry’s REAL sea fish all the way through crispy and seasoned very good. Also the fried chicken is sooo good! You won’t need any sauce but their MILD sauce is the best, a savory ketchup set apart from other restaurants.“

“Man oh man! Just got out of physical rehab yesterday after being one of the 9 victims in the Downtown Tucson mass shooting. Almost dying, and getting hit in both legs, right femoral artery and left ankle fracturing my fibula and tibia. I just wanted a big juicy steak. I love to grill steak but I’m exhausted and so I stopped by Longhorn and was treated with A1 service by Arabella. Checking on me, quickly providing me with anything I needed I really enjoyed my meal.

The 20oz Outlaw, medium. Cooked to perfection, I enjoyed every bite to the bone. Also had a delicious Caesar salad, mash potatoes, bread with butter and a side of redrock grilled shrimp. The shrimp was the only mid item but I still enjoyed it. I felt welcomed and comfortable despite getting around with a walker and to top things off and really make my night, as I was checking out, Arabella surprised me with an ice cream Sundae that read “Get well soon ❤” on the plate. This brought a huge smile to my face and although I’m not big on sweets and ice cream, I couldn’t help but to take a couple bites in between my plastered smile. Thank you Arabella for getting the doors on my way out and all the well wishes and good vibes. Peak customer service and human touch!“

My mom had the BBQ rib tips and my little girl had the fried chicken with Cole slaw and Mac and cheese. I do recommend. Now if you are used to bland food, this place isn’t for you.“
