“Never been to Phoenix area before and wanted to find a very local authentic restaurant. We found it....Cocina Madrigal was exactly what we were looking for...We actually sat at the bar since there was a short wait for a table. I was here with a college friend who lived out of the state also. We thoroughly enjoyed the food. We had the combination Taco/Burros/Tamales/Enchiladas...Our gracious bartend/waitress suggested the perfect way they should be prepared. All the employees were very friendly and make you feel incredibly welcomed. Highly recommend and we will return when we are traveling through Phoenix..“

“Their burritos are ON POINT! They don't skimp on the meat, the tortillas are always fresh and the chorizo never over cooked. My husband gets the bacon, I prefer the chorizo. The sausage is ok. Not bad but the bacon and chorizo are better! They are really friendly and always make things fresh. We love that we found our new weekend spot! Their hot sauces (red or green) are not for the weak. I go through 2 red but I can also handle serious spice.“

“Literally the best ever. Try everything if you can. But, if you only have one time to try something: I would say get the ramen Birria combo with 2 - quesabirria tacos and consommé with ramen. It literally blew my mind and changed my world. For a vegetarian who never gets a chance to try Birria it was my first time having it in my life. We drove here from Oregon and it was the best thing ever. I wish we had a place like this in Portland. If they are looking to expand I would be happy to help be an investor! I hope these folks stay open and thrive forever. Seriously Incredible Food!

“Best baja style fish/shrimp tacos in AZ PERIOT!!! Everything was fried and made to order. The pico tastes like it was chopped right then, it was so fresh. I would also recommend eating there so you get the true experience. If not then get salsa and crema on the side so it dont get soggy. Not to forget to mention, the couple that run it are just as amazing which is a double win for me!. Well done @HECHIZASON and can't wait to see the rest of the valley take note... ?❤️????????“

“Best wings hands down! Keith Lee was wrong, strawberry hot are my favorite! I am not a sweet person, and these wings are fire. I have tried other flavors too that are great, but my go to will always be Strawberry Hot! Best food truck staff ever as well! Tip them, they deserve it!“
