OH. MY. GOD. The absolute best food I’ve ever had in my life. So much flavor (hence the name- which means “flavor” in Swahili I found out). Amazing service as well. The drinks are so creative and flavorful as well. HIGHLY recommend.Update: second time we came here we were slightly less impressed. Portions were small but prices were high. Food was good, not great. Maybe we came on a bad day. We’ll give it another try.
We were looking for someplace unique to have dinner on a visit to Phoenix and came upon this restaurant. Must say that the service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was interesting and quaint. The food was very good. Both my wife and I would go back again.

Everything about this place is excellent, from the welcoming service to the creative bar drinks. I had a non-alcoholic sangria that actually tasted like sangria (not fruit punch!) and I will go back for that all summer long! You'll see me on the front porch again for sure.
