Liked the eclectic food choices; flavors were a little inconsistent between strong great flavors with more plain flavors.

I spent my 29th birthday here, and I couldn’t even picture anything better. The staff were extremely attentive and made the entire experience so special! This is the perfect spot to celebrate any special occasion. Also, each one of the dishes my friends and I ordered came out tasting amazing and the drinks were also all wonderful!

Trust me this is the place you've been looking for. The food I'd amazing and different. This was my first time going to a gourmet African cuisine restaurant and they didn't disappoint. Located on the lawn of the science center, LATHA offers great food, warming vibes and chill music. We on a Saturday night and the artist Coco who singing was great, she even sat talked with us for a bit. You have to check this place out and when you do, get the pound cake, every bite reminded me of the best days from my childhood ?

The ambiance was wonderful and it was a good first impression with warm staff, live music, and lovely rooms. However, the dining experience was not a good first impression. We ordered drinks and an appetizer. All came out fine. Ordered entrees then the server came back and said my selection was not available. It was Saturday night at 7 PM. I asked for the menu again (very small menu) and selected a different option. Server came back 5 minutes later and said they also do not have my 2nd option available. Then they delivered my husband his entrée and he had to eat it by himself. We requested that I just get the sides of the porkchop then maybe they do a different protein, they declined and said that was not possible. 2 drinks, an app and a vegetarian entrees was $100. Even with me going hungry, no discounts were offered on the bill. Almost $30 for a vegetarian "stew" is overpriced. No manager came by to check on us or offer apologies. If you already have a smaller menu with just a handful of items, manage your supply chain better or perhaps improve communication between the manager, kitchen and serving staff. We will not be dining here again due to these major disappointments.

we went to this restaurant for brunch today 4/14/24 the restaurant has cute decor with a decent vibe and also a small boutique but the food is horrible nothing tested Good the breakfast is plain with overcooked eggs even if you tell them that you prefer your eggs over easy the mac and cheese and the shrimp didn't test Good either the only thing that we enjoyed was the coffee with the agave syrup and coconut milk and even that comes cold I don't recommend This restaurant if you like quality and delicious food!

Love the outdoor patio ambience, and the food has a great balance of flavors. Also the signature sorrel tea is tasty!

We arrived for 7pm Saturday reservation and were promptly seated. The restaurant is beautiful and the front staff was warm and welcoming. The atmosphere was fantastic and the live music was a perfect addition. We started with a couple of cocktails and goat cheese appetizer, excited for the rest of our meal. My wife ordered the pork chop and I ordered the mushroom dish. About 5 minutes later the server came by to let us know the pork chop was not available. My wife changed her order to the wings with broccolini. Another 5 minutes later they let us know they were out of wings as well. While trying to figure out a 3rd option, my entre arrived. I awkwardly had to eat while my wife sat there with no food. The server apologized multiple times but by then the evening was soured. In the end we got the check so we could go to another nearby restaurant after literally only receiving and paying for half a dinner.

All We Are Is Content

We stopped in to have a full meal but unfortunately left after the appetizer which was the pita pita wings. The wings we were told would be spicy which they were but they were overtaken by what seems to be a chutney That was dolloped all over them. The chutney it seems was room temperature when it was placed on top of the hot wings. This would have been better serve as a side that could be dipped into as to not overpower the wings. The wings were rather large as well. More like drumsticks. The atmosphere is fantastic what they did to The Rose & crown fantastic and. needed. The price points are expensive which isn't an issue but when you start out with wings that are mid we just didn't want to take the risk of investing in the rest of the night.Don't take our word for it Go try it out for yourself.

The staff is real nice here, and let's you know the history of the restaurant and where the cuisine is from. Also, the food is good, I would say get the wings as an appetizer, the flavor was amazing. The sea bass was also delicious.

If you are anywhere in the Phoenix area, you have to try Latha. We were in a rush before the suns game, and they were so accommodating and so sweet. This restaurant is clearly a labour of love for the owner and the manager who could not have been more hospitable. Was some of the most delicious food we’ve had.

Interesting and flavorful dishes that had cultural significance. Not a flippant fusion place, done with a lot of intention. Plates are relatively small and the menu tends to rotate. Was disappointed that some of the items we wanted to try were not available - something from every section of the menu. But the staff made up for it with their friendly service. The Fava bean hummus was our favorite.

Delicious food, delightful music, superb service. It was our first time to visit this unique house that has been transformed into a perfect rendezvous of food and music with Jonathan on the violin.

18 hungry travelers showed up with no reservation at 630pm hoping for dinner after being unable to get in at our original destination. The incredibly gracious host agreed to seat us and showed us to a private seating area outside to wait while they set up our table. The bartender came to us all individually to take drink orders while we chatted in the outdoor courtyard.A few minutes later a lovely private outdoor table was set and all of us sat together to enjoy Latha. The owner, a lovely woman, greeted us once sat sat and told us the story of her restaurant and culture and food! How beautiful! They were even able to move us to an inside table when a powerful rainstorm passed overhead. We ordered all the appetizers (get the flatbread, it’s wildly good) and enjoyed them all. Several of us had the burger, my friend and I skipped the bun, and it came with a lovely plate of greens. The restaurant is gorgeous and has a little shop room in the back with imported curated items. You must try Latha! The experience is just perfect!!
