Coming into AZ late we missed our reservations for another restaurant. So I was on the hunt for somewhere still open and found Michelina's. From the outside we weren't sure it was open from the dimly lite parking lot but when we got inside we were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant has been there 40 years! Michelina's is the best Italian in Scottsdale. As a former New Yorker, this is my go-to for all the staples. Service is warm and friendly and the food is excellent. I am hesitant to say this because I don't want the restaurant to become over-booked, but it's so worth it!

I got into town on a late flight and was STARVING. I showed up very late after dinner time and they had already closed up shop. Despite that, I was graciously welcomed in and they offered to whip me up something to-go. It’s rare today to find business that show such kindness. No doubt some of the best sausage and peppers I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot in my life. This is a definite stop for me every time I’m in Phoenix from now on.
