“My wife had noticed the restaurant opened in our neighborhood (40th St. and Bell Road) a few months ago and we finally went for lunch 3/17.Incredible.She had the borscht and pelmeni sampler. I had a cup of solyanka and the vareniki, sauerkraut and sausage combo. We traded bites, and both loved everything. (At our server's recommendation, I mixed the regular mustard with the 'kraut and used the extra hot mustard on the sausage. It was perfect.)It was the best borscht I have ever had, very rich and flavorful without being at all heavy or overly earthy. Both the soups were light and rich at the same time and exploded with fresh, clean flavors.Everything was freshly made and perfectly cooked.Our server, Patrick, was very personable, knew the menu top to bottom and made great suggestions when asked for input.For dessert we split a (generous!) slice of honey cake that was so light, airy and multi-flavored that I would have gladly eaten more until I'd made myself sick.The portions are hearty but not overwhelming. The room is clean and well-kempt. The staff is friendly and attentive without being smothering and the food is the best Eastern European food I've had in a very long time.We will be going back often.“
“This Olive Garden is fantastic! First, I would like to preface this with, I generally don't even like Olive Garden. The service here was superb. Lenny was attentive and detail oriented without hurrying us on a busy Friday night. She answered every question patiently, ensured food was fresh,brought out quickly and dealt with a gift card on a machine not used to gift cards when we were checking out at the end. The food was flavorful, served hot, fresh and with good portions. The afore mentioned machine was a tablet with menus and other activities. The tablet was perfect for showcasing dessert items. My friend and I also ordered dessert and they looked exactly as pictured and were delicious.Andrew, the manager, came out multiple times just because he was doing his job and monitoring the dining room on a busy weekend night. I am not a fan of chain restaurants because the service usually sucks but this was the complete opposite.I was also impressed that Olive Garden had both regular menus and tablets to look at menu items instead of just QR codes. I was dining with an elderly family friend (and I have elderly parents) the QR code menus sometimes take away from an enjoyable dinner experience. Olive Garden had both a regular menu and a tablet instead of a QR code. My only regret is that I was supposed to fill out a survey on the tablet and my family friend was tired after chemo and I forgot to do that.I would I would recommend this Olive Garden to anyone! “Overall good food. Our waitperson was very good. Lots of extra dishes etc with soup, salad & bread sticks. The bread sticks had no visible butter on them but tasted like they were soaked in popcorn butter. I was brought a different beer than I ordered. Entrees were better than I expected. The waitperson, Chelsea, was quite good considering how busy she was.“
“Awesome place, should be a destination for anyone in Phoenix. We walked over here from a hotel near the Footprint center due to the lackluster hotel breakfast. We ended up being grateful that we were forced to look for alternatives, as this was absolutely delicious. I’d never had chilaquiles, but their green chile ones did not disappoint, to say the least. Great service too, and a very cool, artsy atmosphere highlighting the social and historic impact the restaurant has had on its neighborhood.“
“Our favorite Thai in Phoenix. Cute family-run place. The food is fresh, authentic, and delicious. They make you feel like family. Spice levels do tend to run hot. So if you like medium, you might try mild.Vegetarian options: They do a great job with tofu! Also plenty of vegetable dishes.“
“I got the pork enchiladas with green sauce. I chose the 50/50 tortillas, cornbread, and both cheese. The flavors are always consistent and delicious. I added pickled onions, crema, guacamole, and honey vinaigrette. ?Parking was easy. There was indoor and patio seating. Even though there were only a few employees, the restaurant and tables were clean. The employees were nice and patient. I had some trouble hearing, and I appreciated that they repeated themselves.“
“Great lil neighborhood cafe! We hadn't been to Biscuits in a while. One thing they've started that I don't like is charging more money on the bill for running a debit card. Debit cards AREN'T Credit Cards. I can see charging a surcharge on Credit Cards, but NOT on debit cards. I do not like this and won't be back again for a while.“
“Visited on 20 Dec. Craving Filipino food...stopped in. Server was very nice. We chatted a while. Reminiscing about PI from when we were there back in early '90s. Ordered pork adobo with pancit and lumpia. Flavors were great. Thought portions were a bit small, but food was hot, fresh, and tasty.“
“The sandwiches are always tasty and ready pretty quickly. I just tried their Reuben for the first time and it was quite delicious. The cole slaw is a great complement to the meat. Their egg salad is one of my favorites and the addition of cucumbers, which I would have never thought of, is a home run! The cookie is a nice bonus after the sandwich.“

“Stopped in here for Saturday dinner. We were able to get a table quickly. Decided to try the crab fried rice and shrimp green curry avocado. The food was AMAZING. The spice level was just right (we asked for medium with the curry, mild for the fried rice) and it was SO flavorful. You can get spice levels: none, mild, medium, hot, Thai spicy, or double Thai spicy. Nice, quiet dinner with an attentive waitress. We will be back, but just for the sashimi and appetizers.“

“I have been sleeping on Gadzooks for a few years now. I thought... "soup & enchiladas, I don't get it".... until I was injured and could only eat liquids. First order was delivery through their website by way of Yelp. I ordered the tortilla and the corn chowder.... added deluciousness to the tortilla and left the chowder as was with the lava sauce on the side. They're not joking about lava on the salsa. I added a bit too much to a plain chowder and it was far too spicy for me...Next time, I ordered the potato enchiladas and chicken tacos, again through the app. They were out of potato, I learned when the dasher deluvered the order with a missing item and I called the restaurant. I don't typically eat meat and the tacos weren't for me. I was bummed the restaurant employee was unaware of how I placed the order, considering I did it direct on their site. So, the communication was not relayed until I called. I am not dropping points because it was so good, a bit salty for me but not overly so. As I said, the guy over the phone was pleasant and answered the question quickly about why I was missing an item and had already refunded the amount. I will order again, or go in.“
“Great from start to finish. Started with rocket shrimp and combination appetizer. Rocket shrimp was the table favorite. My wife got Pho and I ordered chicken curry dinner with hot and sour soup. We like our dishes a little spicier so we got additional chili oil to add. Both were great. I would advise the hot and sour soup was more of an egg drop soup. Still good but not as expected. We will visit here again.“

I almost always get the chicken pho and crispy egg rolls; they never miss. Whether dine-in or take-out, the service and speed are impeccable every single time. The manager, Kim, is genuinely kind, warm, and welcoming, and I look forward to seeing her every time I come in. It is truly in your best interest to try this place; it is a 12/10.“
“Love it!!! 10/10 recommend! I pass here all the time and never stop in. Yesterday I came in and a nice young man, Kameron, helped and suggestion a few items on the menu. I bought them all! He was the most pleasant restaurant employee I’ve encountered in a while. I took the food to go and was thoroughly pleased. Everything was so good that I brought my son back with me today after school. We ordered 4 different items on the menu and they were all great!!! Kameron was here again and helped again. He had more suggestions for us today and was even more pleasant and patient. We sat down to eat this time. The rest of the staff was amazing and wanted to make sure we liked our meal. We loved it! “What a wonderful choice for lunch today with my father. I googled “best authentic Chinese food in downtown Phoenix” and I’m sure glad that they recommended this place. I’ll be coming back. The service was really really great at the top of my list, and the food was prepared very well. It definitely was a Authentic and it arrived to our table in a flash!! I should’ve taken pictures of my dishes, but it smells so good I had to attack it quickly, so no pictures this time next time!! my dad ordered the chicken chop Suey with shrimp and I ordered the orange chicken!
