While my prior visits have been nothing short of spectacular, last night's order ended very peculiarly.

We ordered crab puffs (X2), honey chicken, curry chicken, shrimp with lobster sauce, and fried rice.

No issues with the puffs, honey chicken, or curry chicken. However, I identified two issues where one we are still encountering as a family.

At one point while eating the fried rice, one of my bites I felt a very crunchy portion. So crunchy, I thought I broke a tooth. Thankfully, I was able to account for my teeth. But I could not find what it was that caused the situation to begin with. Sadly, I was then too paranoid to eat more of the rice.

Shrimp with lobster sauce was a newer item we had picked. Three of us are now dealing with various types of stomach aches. For the three that are dealing with the aches, they were the only three that ate the shrimp dish (my wife, my oldest son, and myself). It has been a rather miserable day, unfortunately.

I had to adjust the rating from a 5 to a 4. Like I said, we've been to Ginger Garden in the past, and no complaints. The rice matter may be a serious outlier, but I can't ignore it given I was legit worried about a broken tooth (maybe it was a super fried rice kernel). But the stomach aches are another item that we can't overlook either. It may be the shrimp or sauce was spoiled, and the restaurant wasn't aware. However, it had a significant impact on our visit.

When I return, I'll make any adjustments to the overall rating. I hope it goes back to the five star rating we've had in the past.“

“I love this store, this is the only store I go to. I absolutely love the food, I love the look of the store, and the people working here are amazing aswell. The workers are always so helpful especially when it comes to figuring out what I want to eat because I never try anything new. Sam always gives the best advice on the kind of food and always helps me figure out what I want and Ken always chimes in with go to attitude pushing me to try something new 😂 I love this place and this will always be my favorite Thai chili 2 GO 🤣“

“We have gotten Thai Chili 2go before but at a different location. I didn't even realize this location was so close to my work. Let me tell you: this place does NOT skimp on anything. Containers actually filled all the way to the top, everything that was supposed to be crispy as definitely crispy and the spice level was exact!
I will never order from the other location again. This one in Gilbert (Higley and Chandler HTS) is hands down the best!“

“When I moved to AZ I was worried it would take awhile to find a good Chinese restaurant. Fortunately for me I stumbled in here first. Some of the best Chinese food I’ve had! I’ve eaten there twice both times were awesome!!! Staff is also very nice and helpful!“

“Absolutely loved this place. The highlight for me was the Shrimp Pan Fried Noodle. The portion size was massive. I ate a ton and it barely looked like I touched it, so the value for the money is incredible.

The restaurant itself has that authentic Asian-owned vibe both inside and out, which I personally love. You can tell right away the food is going to be legit, and it definitely delivered.

I’ve seen some of the other reviews, and honestly it feels like some people came in with the wrong expectations. If you come in open-minded and ready for real, hearty portions and authentic flavors, you’re going to enjoy it.

“Cafe Zupas absolutely exceeded expectations. The atmosphere was easily a 100 out of 10 clean, modern, welcoming, and full of great energy. The restaurant was packed, which is always a great sign, but what really stood out was how fast and efficient the service still was. The team kept everything moving smoothly without sacrificing quality.

The food and baked goods were incredibly fresh. You can taste the quality in every bite, and the desserts were the perfect finishing touch. Everything from the presentation to the flavor was on point.

If a place stays busy and still delivers quick service, amazing ambiance, and fresh food, that tells you everything you need to know. Highly recommend Cafe Zupas and I’ll definitely be back ✔️“

“My family and I had a delightful experience at the Olive Garden on Gilbert Rd and Germann in Gilbert, AZ. We stopped in for an early dinner after my daughter’s dentist appointment. We are vegetarian, so we knew good ol’ OG would have something we could eat, especially with all those breadsticks and salad.

When we arrived, we were greeted by a delightful host stand and seated immediately. It was around 4:30 on a Wednesday, so it wasn’t exactly poppin’, which worked out perfectly for us. We were sat in the back and told our server would be with us shortly. Not long after, Tatiana came by and introduced herself. She had such a warm and pleasant demeanor. Right away, she gave the impression that she was there to take care of us, not just treat us like another number.

We asked about the oil used for frying because we can’t eat beef tallow and needed to make sure it was seed oil, soy oil, or something else non-animal based. Tatiana didn’t know offhand, but she went and checked for us. While she was gone, we noticed on the Ziosk that the fries and fried eggplant parm were listed as vegetarian, so we figured they had a fryer with vegetarian-friendly oil. When Tatiana came back, she confirmed our suspicions and we were good to go.

By the way, the amount of information provided on Olive Garden’s Ziosks is pretty impressive. They had a whole vegetarian and vegan layout showing what contains what. Kudos to OG for going above and beyond there. That kind of info really matters when you have dietary restrictions.

My daughter ordered the kids ravioli with a side of spaghetti, which is basically like two entrees in one. She felt like she won the freakin’ lottery. I ordered the eggplant parm, and the table shared the lasagna fritta with marinara instead of meat sauce, along with loads of breadsticks and salad. And I cannot forget to mention the deliciousness that is the alfredo dipping sauce. OMG. Talk about all the reasons I’m unhealthy. That stuff makes me feel like I’m indulging, while in reality I’m probably getting a few steps closer to a heart attack. Worth it, though.

My wife ordered one of those “buy one, take one home” deals and was presented with way more food than she could eat, plus food to take home. That’s a win. My daughter and I finished our plates clean.

All in all, the experience was really enjoyable. The food was worthy of a review on its own, but I especially want to mention the service we received and how pleasant it was to be served by Tatiana. She was kind, attentive, and provided a wonderful dining experience for our whole family.

She checked all the boxes: proper drink levels maintained, check. Pre-bussed the table, check. Created a friendly and hospitable environment for the guest, check. She was a really great server, and we left full, happy, and grateful for the experience.“

“we have Used Hot Wok for many many years when we lived in Chandler and now delivery in Gilbert. They are always kind, professional and never disappoint. Our favorite is the Beijing beef with brown fried rice and the soup. You can’t go wrong, they also now have sushi which is delicious.!!“

The food was piping hot and came out much quicker that we expected, our server was absolutely phenomenal as she checked up on us frequently and made sure we got everything we needed. For $55 we got something similar to the lunch special but we got the meal for two! How we ordered it was; 1/2lb shrimp, 6 wings, sausage, potatoes, corn, rice, and noodles. We also got 2 spring rolls, 2 sodas, and 2 green tea shots all for $55! It was a huge serving of food for two people and we still had plenty leftover. I was absolutely astonished at the price for how much food we actually had served because on paper, I didn't think it was going to be so much. The Thai iced tea was excellent, and the Massaman curry with steamed tofu was especially flavorful. We also enjoyed the vegan pad see ew and pineapple fried rice, which met expectations and were well prepared. We waited outside cause it was a little warm inside. The food came out pretty fast and tasted really fresh. The toast itself was simple but packed with flavor—crisp bread, creamy avocado, and a touch of seasoning that made it enjoyable.

What I really appreciate about Panera is the consistency. No matter where we’ve been, the service and food quality always feel dependable, and this Mesa location was no exception. Watching my son experience something new while everything around us was clean and welcoming made it that much better.

She prepared the food by herself, managed the front counter, AND stayed upbeat and positive.Another customer told me her name is AMBER. Well Amber....you are AMAZING in how you handled an obviously difficult situation with grace and manners. All of us customers in the lobby were happy to wait because she was trying so hard.I am sending my son and daughter down here to apply for a position. I hope they can learn her customer service skills and how to hustle.Corporate office/franchise person...BIG KUDOS for Amber, I had a larger online order and I hope you're proud of her and appreciate her well.
