“Food is always great and the two people who run this restaurant are wonderful. Very clean and simple eating. The rice flavor is the best! Very comforting meals! I typically go with the white meat chicken and Thai traditional sauce. Friends get the breaded chicken with sweet chili sauce and they love it.“
“The best Thai food I’ve had so far. The co-owner/chef (Samma) prepares every dish herself so the quality is consistent. During busy times the wait could be 15-20 minutes, but it’s worth the wait. The other co-owner/husband (Jerry) is usually there helping the staff and welcoming people to insure they have a great experience. They also give discounts to active military and first responders.“
“Not the usual, predictable (overly sweet) Thai menu. This cozy restaurant's food is regional and authentic. (I've lived in Asia.) I can vouch for the green mango salad, crab curry, kabocha squash, and asian-flavored creme brûlée. Nice cocktail, too. I'll be back for sure!“
“Everything I order from this place is amazing!!!!! The curry is so good. The shrimp appetizer is by far one of my favorite's. I can eat that every day, the spicy level is so good and the lemongrass flavor or I'm not sure that they use to get that but it is freaking amazing!!!!! The mango and sticky rice was so good with that coconut sauce. Highly recommend. They are inside of the highland food hub but they also do pop ups around the area and they offer other items that are equally as good. The owners are all very nice and you can really see the love and passion for their food.“
“The food was decent and the service started off really great but after we received our food we were forgotten about. I will say that it was a busy Friday night, but after we got our food, no one checked in on us. I never got a drink I ordered that I was charged for, and we had to get up and ask someone for our checked and to go boxes after waiting a while for someone to come. Overall, I would say it was a nice restaurant, but just a few small issues at the end.“
“Awesome Thai spot right around Thomas and Central. It's not only the best actual Thai food in the area, it's got the best bang for buck.Their lunch specials are $12 and come with one of their soups on a rotating lineup, all of which are good.I work around here and need to frequent it more.“
“Everything I’ve had here is absolutely DELICIOUS! ? My favorite is the Pineapple Chicken Fried Rice, Crab Puffs, and any of their curries. Went with a group of friends and the entire time we could not stop talking about how amazing everything tasted. Parking is a bit cramped when it’s busy but hands down, love this place.“
“The food was really good but it was just odd that me and my friends were seated pretty quickly, we were given menus and then brought water right away...but then we sat there for quite a while after we picked out what we wanted to order. We were sitting towards the back but there were at least four employees walking around at any given time that never came back to us to take our order. I'm pretty sure it was a good 20 minutes with no contact. We had to walk back up to the front after waving a few times. It almost seemed like we were being ignored. Other than that no complaints.“
“The food was ready quickly. The staff was very pleasant. And the restaurant is clean. I come here daily often. It’s a fave for my family.Parking: Parking is very accessible to the restaurantKid-friendliness: I bring my grandson with me and never have felt like kids were not welcome.“
“First time here. Had the Spicy Basil at a medium level of spicy. Food was amazing, service was great, and did I mention the food is amazing? This is my first time here on a whim. I will 100% be back. The food was hot and fresh, seasoning was amazing, and lunch portion was perfectly sized. Please try this is you like good and authentic Thai food!“
“Glai Baan may have one of, if not the BEST Thai food in the Valley! We made reservations a few weeks out and were very excited to make it in there. The restaurant has a casual vibe to it and was completely full but the service was great the whole time. The Kanom Jeeb (Pork dumplings) may have been the best dumplings I’ve ever had. The ginger soy dipping sauce was fantastic. I can say the Panang Curry was some of the best tasting curry I’ve had and was the perfect level of spice for me. The Kao Pad Pu (Crab Fried Rice) had delicious fresh crab throughout it which was tender and juicy. I can’t wait to visit again and try more of their dishes!Pro tip: Go 30 minutes early and grab a drink at Rewined Beer & Wine Bar beforehand. Next to Glai Baan and one of the coolest bars I’ve been to.“
“Intimate, casual restaurant with great food. The staff was very nice. Its small and comfortable. I had the spicy tai with shrimp and it came with white rice. The portions are large and my meal was delicious. Parking can be difficult.Parking: You have to find street parking or a garage.“
“So the gal at the front desk was as sweet as can be. I have to say that. But however, I was driving over and was calling in my order. I was literallyon the phone with a ringing tone for five minutes and 41 seconds. No one answered. I got to the desk with my phone still in a ringing fashion and I asked the girl what the correct phone number was because I thought I had it wrong. she told me that I didn't have the correct number and then she was busy waiting on tables and sending out food. There were four tables of people eating however, I think she needs a little help with the front desk. It's not her fault but she didn't answer the phone and I had to wait when I got here for my takeout food. ..... it was so efficient when I got here. I only had to wait five minutes for my food. Which was awesome. But I think she needs more help if she can't answer the call and order.“
“If I can say one thing, it's that this restaurant is so underrated....Little Asia cuisine serves some delicious Thai food. They are known for their sushi made with black rice. We were a party of like 9 people and were all pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. The service we received was great. Clean environment and very affordable.Pictured here is their orange chicken, which was finger licking good, and that is out of character for a germaphobe like me to say or do ?Follow me on IG @igooglereviewyou“
“Wow! Food quality is off the charts. We ordered green curry with pork and extra veggies plus spicy noodles with veggies for takeout.Seriously the BEST Thai food in the entire Valley that I've tried in 8 years here. We have a local restaurant too (Mediterranean Fusion), so we really appreciate old fashioned great food because we know how insanely hard it is to do.Delightful. Please, everyone support these guys!!“
“Our favorite Thai in Phoenix. Cute family-run place. The food is fresh, authentic, and delicious. They make you feel like family. Spice levels do tend to run hot. So if you like medium, you might try mild.Vegetarian options: They do a great job with tofu! Also plenty of vegetable dishes.“
“Local Phoenix place with a location also in Tempe. This is our neighborhood go to place for Thai. Service is quick and efficient, also you can call ahead for take out online delivery. The food is made fresh and is always very delicious. We usually get the Tom Ka soup, and pad Thai or the Pumpkin Curry is really really good. Pineapple friend rice is a huge portion to share.“
“I am losing my damn mind. I visited the Pemberton because I was told to check out Nam Pik for some delicious, authentic Thai food. Mama (that's me) needed something to lift her mood and fill her belly....wowowowow I got that and SO much more. The powerful woman in the kitchen (who I later learned is named May and owns Nam Pik, love a woman owned business) loudly yelled with warmth HELLO HOW ARE YOU immediately made me feel at home. This kind young gentleman who told me his name was Robert took my order with a gentle and welcoming demeanor. I saw him hand write the order on a ticket (I love a handwritten ticky sitchy). A sweet chef (Jack) read the ticket and got to right to work (such dedication). I ordered the Thai Rib special...and the chicken satay.....and the corn (for mama, that's me). I want to remind you that I mentioned at the beginning of the review that I needed something to lift my mood so I had to do a big eat okay. I ordered a Thai-Shie cocktail. Incredible. You pour your Ramuné (a carbonated soft drink) over pebble ice with a shooter of Johnnie Walker stuffed up in there. I was shook. Might just rebrand and make this drink my entire personality. The ribs made me crazy. Literally almost tried to call my dead exboyfriend to tell him about this delectable dish because I wanted to share this life changing experience with the person I love the most. I really did love him a lot guys but I think I love the ribs more. They melted in my mouth just like he use to. I won't go on too much about this because I'm about to become hysterical if I continue to think about him but if they're running this special, DEFINITELY order the ribs. The chicken satay is mind blowing. Felt like a lobotomy but I'm in the small percentage of those cured from this procedure. The chicken is exactly what I was looking for. Something to make me feel better. My very favorite. I'll be dreaming about this dish for years. And I'm going to make my dreams come true by coming here to order it 5 days a week like it's my damn job. The Hot & Sour Corn-speracy? It's facts. No conspiracy here. But corn-speracy??? I want it everywhere ;) Okay I fear that maybe I've made this too long. Maybe I overshare a bit. Maybe the crew (May, Jack and Robert) who now feels like family to me will be in my life forever. Maybe not, but I will be coming to Nam Pik until the day I die.“
“I’m Thai and The foods are too good like tooooo good specially the owner. The owner is so super super friendly. All I can say that I’m Thai and living in the us over 10 years I never had this much good pad Thai not even in LA or Vegas but at this small shop! I even have to order the foods back to hotel for dinner! If I’ll be in AZ again I’ll be back for sure !! Thanks to the owner who taking a good care of us also thank you for free Thai tea!!“
“Good food, big portions. a little on the expensive side for lunch time though. Customer service was a little slow, but once we finally got our order placed, everything was great. not sure if I will go back, but definitely a tasty option in Ahwatukee if you're looking for yummy Thai food“
“I absolutely LOVE Thai lotus! They have the BEST peanut sauce I've ever had, for starters. I've only ordered the pad see ew so far, with side of peanut sauce. It is delicious! I've eaten it in the restaurant, and ordered to go. Service is fantastic and very friendly. Atmosphere is pleasant. My friend lives next door and I told him I will never come over without also going to this restaurant lol ?“
“Been driving past this place in my neighborhood for years but never stopped to try thinking it would be too spicy. Tried tonight for first time and OMG my new favorite restaurant! Started out with super crunchy pot stickers and chicken egg rolls - yum! I had THE BEST orange chicken which had incredibly crispy chicken in a light orange sauce that was not too sweet. Amazing! My partner had the cashew chicken that he said was the best he's had. I like that they ask the level of spice you want (1 thru 5). A level one had just enough kick while keeping the meal enjoyable.. Had the most amazing lemongrass iced tea as well. The food is absolutely delicious and clean. Service was exceptional. They do an incredible takeout/Door Dash business - a ton of people were picking up orders. So glad I took a chance and ate here - I will be eating here a lot more!“
“Delicious, flavorful, and great portion sizes. The tofu is super yummy! Very friendly service.Dietary restrictions: Just ask and they can make many meals gluten free if needed as well as vegan! I always get the green curry and it's perfect.“
“Thai Basil was a nice spot to visit as I await the traffic to die down before my journey home after work. The food was delicious. I tried the spicy noodle. I chose 3 (out of 5) for my level of hotness. The dish did not disappoint. They have a full bar as well. The staff were all pleasant, and the facility was clean and comforting. I had a window seat, which was nice. There's both street and garage parking nearby.“
“The food is excellent!!!Note that due to staffing, they don't offer dine-in, but you can still eat there (what I mean is, they don't have waiter service). The food truly is delicious, but I highly recommend you to call your order ahead. Otherwise, you'll have to wait“
“This is our first visit to Krachai kitchen from Viginia. The foods were tasty and delicious. We are enjoyed it very much. Highly recommended! Must visit this Thai restaurant if you want a real Thai cuisine taste.Parking: Plenty parking.Kid-friendliness: This place is kid-friendly. Plenty of parking.“
“Stopped in here for Saturday dinner. We were able to get a table quickly. Decided to try the crab fried rice and shrimp green curry avocado. The food was AMAZING. The spice level was just right (we asked for medium with the curry, mild for the fried rice) and it was SO flavorful. You can get spice levels: none, mild, medium, hot, Thai spicy, or double Thai spicy. Nice, quiet dinner with an attentive waitress. We would come back to try more dishes or just have these again!Vegetarian options: You can choose tofu or vegetable for almost all main dishesParking: Busy parking lot“
“Only have done takeout, so can't say much about the service or atmosphere but I can say I have tried multiple pad thais around the valley and TC2G is THE best pad Thai I have had yet. I wasn't sure what to expect but it took me by great surprise. So flavorful and moist, all throughout- reheated as well. Highly highly recommend the pad Thai (medium). My boyfriend ordered the pad prig pao (medium) and for not liking very spicy food, it was definitely spicy and DELICIOUS. It has such a good flavor. And the portions are big for what you pay for. It was easily a full dinner and full leftovers for lunch. 10/10 would recommend.“
“Hot Hot Hot. Got the Drunken noodles - hot, and it was HOT. I usually order spicier then average because food is often not spicy enough, this was! Also, the red curry w/chicken, ordered medium, it was also plenty hot. Both were very tasty!“
“First time in. Tried the tofu pad-Thai and was not disappointed. Very tasty.Excellent dessert: Sticky Rice with mango. Was surprised with the contrast of sweet and salt & cold and warm. Taste buds were please. Very friendly service as well. Will definitely return to try other menu items.“
“First time eating here. I had the yellow curry medium spicey and it was really good. Lots of potatoes, carrots, meat, and the spice was perfect. They start you off with a nice salad then the main course. I was there for lunch, only 12 bucks with tip... the peanut curry is amazing!!“
“Recommended. The green and the red curries are delicious. Drive up window is the perfect way to pick up to go orders. Don’t mind the prices going up a bit, but seems like the container keeps getting less full on top of the rising prices. Last time we dined in, seat cushions were ripped, which is worrisome for germs, but may have been fixed since then. Recommended for great Thai curries.“
“This was by far some of the best Thai food I have had in a while. I have no complaints. Everything was good. From the service, to the clean atmosphere, to the delicious food. Whoever is in the back of the kitchen cooking is putting nothing but love in the food! Shoutout to the waiters Tiki also. She was great and checked on us, although it started to get busy. 10/10.Will definitely be back!!Vegetarian options: Mostly everything is made with vegetables. They also have some good tofu!Parking: This location stands out in a large area of stores and other restaurants. You really can't miss it unlike the other stores in the area.Kid-friendliness: Nice clean location that served kids while I was there as well.Wheelchair accessibility: There are not many good things to say about the wheelchair accessibility. The area is sort of congested, and there is not accessible doors. I'm sure the business would help anyone in need, but there isn't much accessibility.“
“One of the best authentic Thai restaurants in the Phoenix area. Very small place with limited seats and are always busy. If you are looking to eat there, you might want to think about food to go unless you have the time. The staff is attentive and there to help with any choices. High quality food excellently prepared large portions at a great price. If you've never been definitely come by and check them out. They also have another location on baseline“
