Starbucks in Phoenix

“Since the day they opened the service has been great.
One day there was one bad egg,
BUT there are so many amazing warm people working to make my morning or afternoon or after work coffee experience great that I keep going back
Thank you for being consistent.
I live my whipped cream on my hot coffee. 😁😁😁😁😁💖💖💖💖“

“On a whim today, I took my aunt to this location. I think she had ever been in a Starbucks once, so this was out of her wheelhouse. We were immediately greeted and our Barista, Angela, realized that she didn't really know what to order. She asked a few questions to gage what my aunt was looking for and offered a variety of options. She could tell that my aunt was in unfamiliar territory, so she offered to make something different if she didn't like it. My aunt has a verrrry sweet tooth, so she started adding sugar packets. Angela noticed and approached us at our table. She offered an option to add caramel to sweeten it up to her liking. Angela was observant, flexible, kind, and an all around great person. Thank you for being such a wonderful person today!!!! Highly recommend!“

“They usually make my drinks better than the Starbucks drive thru location in the same parking lot. Only complaint is that often times there’s nobody at the counter to help for a good 5+ minutes so you have to tell a fry’s employee to call them up“

“My friend was visiting me with her two children, and I had my two children with me as well. We went to play at Arcadia Park, and afterwards we decided to stop by Starbucks while we waited for the yogurt place nearby to open. Having four kids with us was a little stressful because we knew it might be hard to get them all to sit down and stay still.

Thomas met us with smiles and genuine happiness and made us feel so welcome. I have never been to a Starbucks where I felt more welcome than I did here. His attitude and calm, kind nature made us feel like we weren’t a burden at all, but that we were truly welcome.

I can’t explain how nice that feels, especially when you don’t come across people like that very often. Thomas is amazing. He deserves the world. He is the best Starbucks employee I’ve ever met, and honestly not just Starbucks — he’s one of the kindest employees I’ve ever encountered anywhere.

Thank you, Thomas, for your kindness. The world needs more people like you.“

“Service was so great at this location! Being at a hospital will often have you down but Alondra went above & beyond by getting to know my order & my own name, sometimes she even had my order ready for me before I’d even get to the front which was so sweet! Love this store so much“

“Came here in the afternoon and decided to sit inside for a little while. I ordered an iced latte and a warmed chocolate croissant and both were really good. The place had a relaxed atmosphere and the tables were clean. My order was ready within a few minutes too. Really enjoyed my time here.“

“Isiah was an absolute gem. Their service was 10/10 and made me a very special drink. So kind, so thoughtful / helpful. You need to give them a raise!!!!!

Cold brew, vanilla syrup, light ice, and dairy free blue coconut cold foam“

“I stopped into this Starbucks in a bit of a rush and just ordered a water and a Strawberry Açaí Lemonade Refresher. I didn’t catch the correct spelling of their names, but I want to recognize Alisa and Tinae for making the quick stop such a positive one. Tinae especially seemed to pick up on the fact that it had been a rough day, and her kindness and upbeat attitude really lifted my mood. Both Alisa and Tinae were incredibly pleasant and made the interaction memorable, even for such a simple order. Excellent customer service—highly recommend this location!“

“I stopped by starbucks on my way home and ordered my usual iced caramel macchiato. The drink as made quickly even though there were several people ahead of me. The barista was friendly and called out my name with a smile. it was a pretty experience i had and i recommend the macchiato, it is really good!!“

“Stopped by Starbucks this morning and ordered an Iced Caramel Macchiato. It had a good balance of coffee and caramel without being way too sweet. The barista was friendly and my drink came out pretty quickly. The store was clean and not too crowded either. Really nice experience overall.“

“So no drive thru. They didn't gave grande or venti coffee lids... lady was nice about it but was frustrating after only 3 hours sleep and no time to go to another. Another thing, seems it's trending, almost hot coffee... can literally guzzle it.... did they lose a lawsuit?“

“I saw a young Barista by the name of Priscilla signs language to an older gentleman thought it might of been a family member, when I asked Priscilla let me know it was one of her regular customers and that he taught her so they could communicate. Blew me away that she would take the time to learn and make his experience the best one he could have. You can tell that Priscilla has a kindred soul and an amazing heart. Please Starbucks make her employee of the year and if anyone visits there let her know how amazing she is. I was having such a bad day but after hearing that story and her smile made my day can’t stop saying wow good for you young lady you made this old man happy.“

“Went in wanting my usual drink but decided to switch it up and try an iced matcha instead. Honestly glad I did because it was really refreshing and they made it just right. The barista was also super nice when I asked about adding vanilla. Definitely getting this again.“

“8/18/2026 Ordered a medicine ball, got to the window and was met with a beautiful smile and exceptional mannerism employee. I didn't wait to tap my card to add a tip, the employee was gladly ok that I didn't get to add a tip. She said no worries it's OK. I definitely wanted to with her great service but had no cash. I will be back.“

“My love always gets me lattes and teas from this location and they’re better than the drive through Starbucks in the area. The staff is always super kind and warm to us and says hi to our four year old. When I find the name of the gentleman who helped us this morning I’ll add it. He was so nice and helpful. I prefer going here instead of other locations.“

“I stopped by Starbucks earlier because I was really craving a coffee and something sweet. I got my usual drink with a pastry, and honestly, everything tasted perfect. The barista was really nice, and my order was ready pretty quick even though there were a few people in the store. The place was clean and chill too, loved the ambiance!“

“It's one of the best Starbucks I've been through yet. The girls there were so nice, so sweet. I had my service dog shadow with me he Recently Just turned nineteen years old, and they went above and beyond to make us feel c. Thankble, thank you“

“I just want to say I LOVE this Starbucks! The people are so friendly and kind. I’ve been coming here for years- multiple times a week and I’m always greeted with a smile and when time allows a conversation. They are so welcoming and my drinks and food are always on par. They are a fun bunch and even during the rush and crazy times they still manage to go above and beyond.“

“Vegetarian options: They have quite a few vegetarian options to choose from....drinks, breakfast items and even a few lunch items as well.

Dietary restrictions: I'm sure they could work around it.

Parking: Lots of close parking.

Kid-friendliness: My daughter loves to get a creme Frappuccino. You can get any Frappuccino in a creme version (no coffee), it's more like a milkshake.

Wheelchair accessibility: Perfect parking right up front. Ramp out front and off to the sides of the building. “

“Places my order online and the app said it works be ready in 3-6 minutes. I arrived soon after ordering and I breezed through that drive thru. There were cars in front of me, the wait was maybe 2 minutes. When I arrived at the window my hot coffee was handed to me and my sandwich.“

“Nice place for a chocolate croissant and coffee for a midday treat. Chairs were comfy and music was lively. Staff were very friendly and had a great idea to check out the shop.starbucks website for a pour-over item I was looking for. Thanks, team!“

“Starbucks in Safeway was fine, but there was only one person working and had to get a couple of buckets of ice before work ing on my order. They did not see my order from the app so no time saved there. Apologies we're made and the drink was good.“

“We went in about 20 mins before closing (11/9), I couldn’t decide what I wanted since they don’t have the Chestnut praline latte out yet and the two that were working were absolutely amazing! So friendly, smiling, super helpful not at all annoyed by us coming in late and indecisive. I would recommend this location to anyone!“

“No tables to sit down at any more. So not a real friendly atmosphere. And if you walk in, there isn't even a menu on the wall! I used to enjoy going there and just watching people and enjoying coffee with my daughter or my grandchildren. I very rarely go to starbucks anymore.“

“My friend and I were fortunate enough to be served a sample of the brown sugar shaken espresso with white chocolate mocha foam by Michelle and Atalia.

The only thing better than this new favorite of ours is the exceptional service from Michelle and Atalia.“

“Never come to this location even though I live 2 minutes away but I stopped by to get the fall new drink and had the best service ever! The guy that helped us was extremely nice and welcoming and honestly made our day!!! Idk your name but we came on sep 13th at around 11:25 am and you were great!! This is our new design go-to location!!“

“By far my favorite Starbucks in the area. Drink is always made to perfection and the ladies who work at this location are beyond sweet and so polite. Always a positive & friendly interaction at this location. Another just opened closer but I’ll still make the trip to this one :)“

“I come here everyday and these people are amazing they're not just here to give you coffee, they're so kind and uplifting! To all the people that said this place is not good or doesn't have good service trust me they're wrong I love everyone here the manager Tiffany is amazing and kind and you can tell she cares about her store and customers! Two of my favorite people that make me smile everytime I come in are Katie and Shannon, they are so awesome! I do not go to another Starbucks because of these ladies! If you want great coffee made with love and care, and amazingly kind service on top of that then come here it's so worth it!! These ladies and everyone here are great!!! ??“

“Amazing experience. I’ve been ordering the same coffee combo for years and Hannah King was very sweet & didn’t give me a hard time ( as many previous Starbucks employees have) and understood my order. I didn’t get the barista working with her but thank you also you made my coffee perfect , was very delicious , ( : God Bless“

“I wanted a cinnamon pull-a-part. They didn't have it. However they did give me a coffee cake. Then they also gave me a free espresso coffee. Shout out to the lady and the drive-thru today at 2:15 pm. She's an absolute Rockstar and just made my day brighter, thank you.“

“This location is right by my ob-gyn's office, I drove thru here crying yesterday, I had just gone for an ultrasound and the Dr told me my baby didn't have a heartbeat 💔 the girl at the window must have noticed I was in a ton of pain, she smiled at me so sweetly and gave me a cake pop. Such a beautiful act of kindness, she was like an angel to help me smile when I was feeling so helpless. I noticed when I got home that my cup said, 'you are beautiful' and had hearts on it. Just writing this so maybe she'll see it and know that this really meant something to me and thank you 💗“

“I just left here, and I would like to give a shout out to these ladies who are working today. And I had to have them re-make my shaken espresso. They were absolutely fantastic about it! I think these employees were about the most friendly that i've encountered at a Starbucks yet. These girls were super welcoming as soon as I walked in. Kudos to them, and thanks so much for remaking that drink for me, and especially for being super cool about it. Thank youuuuu! ❤☺“

“I stop by the drive thru at this location on my way into work a few times a month (yes, sometimes a few times a week!). The staff is consistently friendly, regardless who is at the window. They also get the orders out quick, even during busy morning rush hour. This isn't always the case at other locations. This is by far one of the best Starbuck's I've been to in terms of service and efficiency.“

“I gave 4 stars rather than the 1 star I feel like giving in this moment. I’ve been coming to this location since it opened. I’ve had nothing but positive experiences from all employees except one. I was hesitant to put her name in a public forum and instead planned to handle it directly with the manager. However, I was curious on the reviews for this location and found that I’m not the only customer who has negative experiences with Nicole. I cringe every time I pull up to the drive up and hear her voice, because then I know I have to get through the next 60 -90 seconds of her pretending like she’s never seen me before, even though I’ve been there multiple times, listening to the tone in her voice, which is annoyed and bothered that she has to help you, followed by the RBF on her face when you pull up to the drive up. I feel like I’m just inconveniencing her by showing up to Starbucks. Today she was super rude, because I finally instead of constantly being the bigger nicer happier person to her, I gave her the same tone back after she was rude to me. She’s a miserable person and should not be in customer service. I don’t understand why she still works there. On the other hand, there is a lady that works there (and I feel terrible that I don’t remember her name), but I can sometimes go a few weeks without being there during her shift and she will notice me via the cameras and say “Hi Kerry come on up we got it for you.” She does this every single time. She is the nicest person and she truly makes my day when I go to Starbucks and I’m sure she does the same for many many many others. Regarding the tire shop. There needs to be screens, greenery, etc. creating a barrier between the outside seating and the view of the tire shop. The store itself is beautiful. The outside seating area needs some attention to make it feel more comfortable and enjoyable.“

“The staff was super sweet and helpful. Drinks were made quick and super delicious for us to have on the road Only downside is that it’s super hot inside the Starbucks/lobby. I can’t imagine having to work in this environment. Can the hotel not pay for a/c?“

“A very VERY GREAT EXPERIENCE. The lady who was there attending has a very enthusiastic and positive attitude. Even when all the young girls who were at the back just making unconfortable faces doing the orders... this lady make my first time experience there at Starbucks so great and easy to place my order. My coffe was simply delicious.“

“Regina is the best coffee maker there is.. She knows me and my friends drinks before we even get to the counter she's already preparing our drinks. Also while she is making our drinks when customers come to the line, she already knows their drinks as well.. I just can't believe how she literally remembers so many faces and how many faces and their drinks.. She's truly an amazing person, I look forward to seeing her every morning with her greeting smile and awesome personality. Even if I am not close to this stuff I will go out of my way should make sure I only come here.“

“I've been visiting this location since 2020 and, believe me, I've witnessed it all. I once rated it 5 stars but refrained from writing a review, as I felt it wouldn't reflect the truth because of its inconsistency. And it wasn't quite at its best. However, yesterday inspired me to share my thoughts because this place is the best I've ever seen. The staff is fantastic, and the environment is spotless. They constantly clean the tables and the doors, which I absolutely love, and this is a testament to their hard work. The employees are kind, creating a genuinely enjoyable atmosphere. Now, I'm sitting down before work, which speaks volumes. This new team has transformed the space into something special worth writing about. Well done, and please continue the great work. You are all incredible!“

“Great service every time friendly & knowledgeable employees. This is my new favorite location.

Parking: Drive thru leaves plenty of parking space they don't cause a traffic jam because they aren't so close together like many other locations“

“The employees at this location are always friendly with a few making it a point to acknowledge remembering me. The drinks could be more consistent in taste but overall generally they’re are good. This location suffers from an old building that’s small. It’s time they deserve a new and larger building.“

“Shaq is the best!!! Very good customer service , he always has the best attitude and that is very hard to find, every time he is there he just has the best smile and attitude and always ready to help, I just want him to get recognized for his hard work!! He makes my day every time I come in to this Starbucks location!!!“

“let me preface by saying im a starbucks connoisseur. i loveee this location! the workers are friendly and efficient, i never wait longer than 5 minutes for my drink. ive been coming to this location for the past 2 years for this reason. today one of the workers went above and beyond with my cup drawing so whoever drew me a cute kitty around 11:45 tuesday 9/2/26 ur the goat and deserve a raise“

“Went in with my mother, who wasn't having the best day, and she dropped her entire drink in the parking lot by accident. I went back in and the barista was incredibly sweet making a new drink and leaving a nice little note to cheer up my mom. Thank you! It totally turned her day around to have that small bit of kindness from a stranger.“

“The manager was working the register and was very kind. He let me know I could get a free pastry item the day I went in which made my day. Angel made my coffee and I was a little disappointed that he didn't listen to my specific requests about extra light ice even after I verbally told him not to do a lot of ice.“

“A great place to grab a morning coffee in Midtown. The natural light inside makes it a very welcoming spot to sit down with a laptop. Dropped one star just because the parking lot is strictly timed for two hours and heavily monitored, so you can't linger too long“

“They added way too much peppermint to my drink so I asked them to add more chocolate but they just replaced the drink… very good customer service and friendly staff.

Parking: You have to park in the fry’s lot and then go into fry’s to go to Starbucks. If you are looking for a drive thru/quicker alternative there is a Starbucks across the street!

Kid-friendliness: Is kid friendly

Wheelchair accessibility: Is wheelchair accessible“

“I shop at this Target often and I rarely stop at the Starbucks inside…but today I decided to stop there and try the Horchata Shaken Espresso because I saw the sign inside the store. The barista was so nice and made me a sample of the new Summer drink. Both drinks were AMAZING!!“

“The team at the Starbucks Tatum & Bell is AMAZING! Always kind, helpful, and friendly. They are also generous to the community by donating to teachers at the surrounding schools. Thank you for the coffee and tumbler cups for Teacher Appreciation Week.“

“The staff at this location has always without a doubt turn even the worst of mornings into positive ones. From the speedy delivery service to the wonderful little messages or stickers left on the cups upon delivery. Every staff member is always smiling and greeting with a positive attitude. I love Starbucks and this just makes me love it even more. Thank you all and keep up the great job!“

“I really enjoyed having a place to hang out while mom had treatment next door. I do not like sitting in air conditioned waiting rooms, so this was perfect for me, and the misters were an added bonus. Very friendly staff & customers too!“
