“The crew is very nice here. UPDATE: Do not come here if you need the wireless internet. It has not worked for over a month. All the baristas know it (but they can’t fix it and just apologize). Doesn’t affect me but to many this is an issue.“

“I normally wouldn’t go back on a drink that wasn’t correct especially if it was a case where I have driven off to a farther location. But today, i was at work, right around the corner and had a little extra time… and this store does not ever make mistakes 9.5/10 times. Especially never my drink. So this rare occasion was 1 in a million. Whether it was a mix up on drinks or perhaps some crossover of flavor somehow, it was not a big deal. They have always taken care of their patrons and always greet everyone with a welcome in or a good morning!! And today was no different. I hate coming back to have a drink fixed but they were very ready to do so. I appreciate them so much! Cuz now I’m drinking a delicious, perfectly made decaf brown sugar oat milk latte instead of what I think may have been tea… which while tasty… was not my decaf brown sugar oat milk latte that they so perfectly make 🤤🤤🤤🤤. Love this team!! Thank you for all you do!“

“After a rather unpleasant experience at Costco, I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional service I received at the drive-through. A young lady working there stood out with her friendly and professional demeanor, which was refreshing, especially in today's fast-paced environment where such kindness can be hard to come by, even at places like Starbucks.

During my brief interaction, we engaged in a nice conversation about where I’m from and what brought me to the area. It was a genuine exchange that made my visit feel more personal and welcoming, something I truly appreciated.

As for the coffee, it was great—exactly what I needed to lift my spirits after my earlier experience. Given this positive encounter, I would definitely recommend this location, especially for those like me who tend to avoid Starbucks. It’s nice to find a spot where the service is warm and the coffee is good. Thank you to the staff for making my visit worthwhile!“

“It's a Starbucks so you know what you will experience. I do wish that they could have more non-coffee offerings and maybe something to absorb the sound since it can get loud when there are many patrons in the seating area. This is a great location being only a short walk from Banner Hospital.“

“Pretty sure I ordered hot mocha. Was in a slight hurry when i grabbed the drinks, so it didn't register that mine was made iced instead as I thought it was my mom's drink that was iced.

Also, please bring back the impossible sandwich. I really dislike cheese, and you can't take all the cheese off of the egg and pesto because for some strange reason it's on top of the bun 😐.“

“I stop by tonight to get my nightly coffee and I didn't catch her name but the barista tonight was wonderful and I'm just glad when I have a good one because my drink is kind of a lot not really it's a lot to say but it's really not complicated just like extra eyes extra foam put it in a bigger cup to make room for the extra ice and the extra foam you know it's really not that complicated but a lot of the times the baristas make it they give me dirty looks or whatever for ordering a complicated drink I get it they're busy and they're in a rush but I paying $10 for a specialized drink so anyways I just wanted to give shout out to this location they were wonderful my drink tasted exactly how I ordered it which is nice usually it's half ass so thank you ladies“

I come to this location regularly and order the same thing. One morning staff member consistently stands out—he greets customers at the door and actually acknowledges people with a simple “good morning,” which makes a real difference.

Unfortunately, that level of basic customer service is not consistent across the rest of the team. Most visits feel like customers are being ignored.

“I don't know what's been going on with all the other Starbucks around the city but I recently moved here because its the only place where the workers are working and also have energy for work. “I can't say enough nice things about this location. I have never caught an attitude from anyone there, not once. My drink is always on point, they're consistent. Everyone is so nice, you're greeted as you walk in and they say goodbye when you leave. I come in with big orders sometimes and they've never acted annoyed or like I'm a burden. I work close by and we all love this location.“

“I always have a Five Star Experience at Southern & Val Vista store. Hardest working people I know. Ellis a the Captain of the ship over there doing a darn good job if you ask me. Pumpkin muffins are fresh and my Latte is never bitter or Flat. Big Love to This Location ❤️

“I was so excited for this Starbucks to be built so close to my house and it does not disappoint! My daughter and I spent a couple of hours there and everyone was friendly and accommodating. The staff were happy and got along with each other well which helped with the overall feel of the place! I'm excited to be spending many long hours studying at my new favorite Starbucks!!“

“I really enjoy this Starbucks each time that I go. I find that ordering drinks at a drive-thru can be difficult and lead to drinks being made incorrectly, so I really enjoy that I can order face-to-face with someone at this Starbucks. The workers are generally very nice and know a lot about the drinks offered. Every time I have gotten a drink here it has been made correctly, which I really appreciate. The drinks are delicious each time as well. They also offer a wide variety of food. I highly recommend this Starbucks location.“

“I was sent to get the morning caffeine for my work. I never do the coffee run but I had my list. I tried to rattle off the few items correctly and get my coworkers modifications correct on drinks I hadn't heard of. The Barista (Hannah I believe?) recognized the order after the second drink and asked where I worked. When I replied, she knew exactly what was being ordered without me having to finish reading off the list. She made 8 drinks in no time flat and was so pleasant and happy. She commented that my coworkers are the nicest people and always order the same thing so she knew exactly what I needed. You Rock! Thanks for the much needed caffeine and good vibes.“

“I love this Starbucks. It’s got cafe vibes even though it’s a drive thru too. I always get a mobile pick up order and my order is always accurate. The baristas are consistently friendly and nice, making sure to greet me as I walk through the door and saying good bye to me as I leave. I also appreciate the smiley faces and hearts that they draw on my cups often for an added touch of personalization.“

“I have been going to the Starbucks for over a year, and no matter how Thirsty I am I don't go to any other Starbucks in Arizona unless I'm way out of town. Linds, and all of the staff there are awesome, they know me they make me feel so happy just stopping in there. I would recommend this Starbucks to anyone who is in the area you won't get any nicer baristas than they have there! Or any better service! “This Starbucks naturally don't have a drive through, because it's located in Fry's, but the service is excellent all the way around. When I shop at this Fry's all the time so, when I'm here, I always try to get one of their frappuccinos before or after I shopping here. Like I said, excellent service, excellent productivity. Carrie-Anne: I'll take a hot coffee with whole milk... and if I order it in a mug, I get a refill, right?

Barista: Theoretically, yes.

Carrie-Anne: Alright, how much?

Barista: $2.86.

(Carrie-Anne hands him the money. Exact change.)

Barista: Thank you. We'll have it out in a minute... or so.

(Carrie-Anne heads away from the cash register over to the syrup area between the cash register and the east door. Her phone rings, and she picks it up)

Carrie-Anne: I'm in.

(She is pushed by an unseen force north through the right window in the second set across the parking lot toward McDonald's in an identical manner to the opening scene from The Matrix: Reloaded in slow motion and collides with the McDonald's drive thru window. She gets up.)

McDonald's drive thru guy: Hi, welcome to McDonald's. Would you like something to eat or a coffee?

Carrie-Anne: No, thanks, I just ordered a coffee at Starbucks.

(She walks back, re-enters Starbucks, grabs her coffee and drinks it quickly)

Carrie-Anne: I'll take the refill now.“

“Not quite the same as going to a stand alone Starbuck’s location but sometimes the perfect way to combine errands as this location is inside the Bashas at Power and McDowell. It’s also a good option if you happen to go to grab something quickly at the full Starbuck’s location across the parking lot, but the lines were outrageous.“

“Angel Romero (Store Manager) and her staff are absolutely phenomenal good group of employees. I have been living here in this area for almost 2 years and every time I come here they are so wonderful and very kind. My favorite for me to get is of course a cup of coffee and birthday cake pops. I look forward to coming back here every time and their service is great! Angel is such a great person to work with, always so friendly, cheer, and outgoing.“

“Its a small Starbucks but moves unlike any other. Times can be difficult with the flow of orders/traffic but I've seen the line move a steady pace. Workers here always answer with politeness and courtesy. This is my neighbor starbucks, early morning I order online and even in the morning the professionalism is great. Its also a cool location and architecture.“

“Your female employee from Washington gave me a phone charger cord! I was late for a meeting, left my charger cord at the office, phone battery flat-lined. As a loyal Starbucks patron, I raced in to see if someone would research the address so I could type into my car navigator. This angel employee went out to her car and gave me one of her seven charger cords! Saved me!!“
