Incredible. The service was perfect, the food was perfect, the wine was perfect. The space was gorgeous and warm.
Absolutely amazing! Everything was amazing. The staff were excellent. They explained everything so well. It was truly an artistic experience. We splurged for the wine pairings and I am so glad we did. Each pairing was perfect for the dish and learning about the wines was a treat. If you want a top tier fine dining experience, you must make a reservation and come here!

KAI offers an unforgettable dining experience that celebrates the heritage of the Gila River Indian Community while delivering world-class fine dining. The service is exceptional, warm, knowledgeable, and attentive without ever feeling intrusive. Guests are greeted promptly by name, chairs are pulled out and pushed in, and napkins are placed on laps. The restaurant is decorated with native paintings and decor, with plenty of space between tables. The view from the restaurant at sunset is incredibly beautiful, and an outdoor patio is available for photos. The menu is a tasting menu with 7 courses, 4 of which require a choice. Meal options include The Birth - From the Elders, The Beginning - Elk Ragu, The Journey - Bison, The Afterlife - S-Thoa Mu:n, and the Honey Dessert. The menu structure is poetic, creating a narrative arc. Native ingredients like Anasazi beans, cholla bud, saguaro blossom syrup, tepary beans, and Arizona mushroom XO are used. Each course is beautifully presented, creative, balanced, and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is intimate and sophisticated. KAI runs $195 per person or $350 with wine pairing. The full experience takes between 2-3 hours. Valet service includes a gift and card from the server. This is not just dinner—it is a culinary journey worthy of every accolade.
