Staff and service are always wonderful! Hands down best crab cakes outside of Maryland!
Two Words: Butter Cake. If you live in Phoenix or visiting, run don’t walk to @neighborlypublichouse ! We split the spinach-bacon salad, charred Brussel Sprouts, and the filet and all were sublime! We saved room for the Butter Cake and homemade ice cream and it is DELICIOUS! We were lucky enough to sit at the bar and be served by the beguiling Audrey. 5 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

Based on the reviews, The Neighborly is a cute spot with stellar service and a chill, laid back vibe that feels more like a second living room than a restaurant. The staff is always kind, welcoming, and genuinely happy to see guests, working together to ensure no one feels forgotten. The food is always spot-on, with standout dishes including the Brussels (the best ever), phenomenal cornbread, and the Ahi shareable which gives more ceviche vibes. The homemade biscuits are the best, especially with the homemade strawberry jam. Other menu highlights include the artichoke appetizer, classic chicken box with goat cheese potatoes, and the club sandwich with slaw. For dessert, the seasonal pumpkin pie and key lime pie are absolutely worth saving room for. The kids menu always delivers, served on ceramic or stoneware trays. The Neighborly also has a great patio and a wonderful bar, perfect for brunch or a relaxed happy hour. The atmosphere is casual but nice, polished enough to feel like a treat but relaxed enough for families. The seasonal clam chowder is fantastic and cozy. Everything is delicious, with sides made in house including the honey mustard. It is an affordable favorite in Phoenix with a varied menu and consistent, terrific service.
