“Cornish Pasty is one of the most unique places to dine and gather in Phoenix. Their downtown location has an old dive bar feel but with, cushioned comfortable seating options, large tables for big groups, outside dining, an upstairs and downstairs bar. Upstairs you can find a couple of pool tables and a dart board, all free to use. Their bathroom is donned with funny and memorable graffiti, just adding to the charm. What makes this place worthy of 5 stars is their delicious pasties. Picture a stromboli, but flakier, and filled with almost any flavor profile, Greek, Italian, Irish, Cajun, thanksgiving, bangers and mash... You name it. Go earlier in the day to get your pick of their options because these are prepared fresh in the window daily and when they run out of their pasties for the day, you gotta wait till the next day. If you have a sweet tooth you can have a warm apple pie or PBJ pasty. I always recommend them as a must visit for friends in town.Kid-friendliness: Although they have a bar, all ages are welcome and can enjoy the pool tables too. It was nice to play while we waited for our meal.“
“Megan tool awesome care of us while we watched the Phoenix Rising & NBA playoff games on TV. Tons of tap options and the food was excellent. I got garlic parm wings.Parking: Several spots share a lot but street parking was a second option.“
“I know they can do better, but everything was just off this time around.Server forgot my drink order, then brings me the same as my friend, which I didn't want, then I was told they were out of the beer I wanted... So ordered something else and someone else delivered the drink, apologized for the confusion, asked what I originally wanted and when I mentioned it they said that they just tapped a new keg for the beer I originally wanted...We had a hair in our food. Sent it back. Then they charged for the extra beer they bought out in error. Will give them another shot, but wow that was less than I expected.“
“Very delicious food & interesting concept. I ended up partaking in a Shepherd Pie Pasty and it was to die for. Savory meat combination w/ the peas & carrots complimented by there homemade gravy. I truly recommend stopping by one of their “
“I was very impressed with the unique offerings at this quaint, out of the way eatery; the menu appears to have something for just about everyone. We stopped by for lunch this week which was the first visit for both of us. I ordered one of the Vegan options and my lunch companion ordered the new French Dip, both dishes were exceptional and the service could not have been better. Of all the new restaurant finds I have come across over the past few years, this place tops my list. Looking forward to my next visit, there are so many unique menu options I am eager to try!“
“Went downtown for a ghost tour, but needed to get a bite prior. We came across the Cornish P...absolutely loved the vibes, service was fantastic, our bartender treated us like family. We live in North Phoenix, but it is worth the drive downtown. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
