Stumbled upon this place several years ago in N Scottsdale and glad I did. Mexican food like it ought to be cooked,not TEX MEX,thank goodness, do not lower your standards of quality of ingredients as I've seen this time and time again with some other Mexican " chains". servers are hit and miss,some good,some could be better and improve their skills. I drive out of the way as you don't have a NE Tempe or /NWMesa location yet?
Very much enjoyed our food, authentic, fresh, large portions, attentive staff. Was there with family, party of 7, everyone enjoyed themselves. I lived in the Baja for 6 months, small village, and this was as close to the home cooking I experienced there as I could ask. The pollo con queso was excellent!
